Did you see the $20 Ham or Turkey rebate form in the 4/5 Newspaper?

If not, you can check out more details here.

Axe is one of the brands that qualifies for this rebate. Walmart has the trial size Axe shower gel/Body Wash priced around .97. Use the $1 coupon from the 4/5 Red Plum insert to snag these for FREE. Don’t worry this coupon does not exclude trial size products. You could potentially buy 42 of these for FREE. Remember, you can purchase these in multiple transactions. Then just purchase your ham or turkey and submit for the rebate. Final cost 42 body washes and 1 ham or turkey for FREE!

(Thanks, Nancy & Bryn!)

Don’t have 42 coupons?

I know this is probably a stretch for some of you. Remember, though, there are numerous other brands that qualify for this rebate. You can check out more details and all the brands here. The above scenario is just an idea to get ya thinkin’! I’d love to hear any great scenarios you all may have!

Ugh! I got 4 sunday papers and this wasn’t in ANY of them!! Any other way to snag this rebate form?

I know this isn’t the right post, but I wanted to update you on the Rite Aid b1g1 situation I commented about before since you said you’d be interested.

I wrote to corporate and got a response today from a Mr. Pete Delorenzo, he’s a district manager. He said it was perfectly acceptable to use two coupons on a b1g1 deal because you ARE still purchasing two items, regardless of their price (as long as the coupon does not state that you cannot). He said the cashier should have scanned them both instead of outright refusing them. He is sending me a gift card for my trouble and since I missed out on the sale, and he was just so nice. He also reinforced using a store coupon in combination with a manuf coupon to make the savings even better. He also said he could NOT mail me a copy of a corporate coupon policy that stated any of this, he said he was not at liberty to do so, so I only have his word.

I wrote down his name and office phone number and will carry it in my wallet in case I have trouble again at this store.

You can look up the $20 rebate form on eBay. I think their selling each form for around $1.

Lipton green teas are on sale b2g1 at walgreens and that is one of the brands. yeah you’ll pay money but if you like them anyways that is 11.98 towards your total. I am getting 6 packs and using 3 $1/2 cpns to get those 6 for $17.98 which isn’t bad for 6 12pks…just a thought 😀

Albertson’s has a buy $25 in Unilever / Kraft get $10 back in free meat promo running right now. You can do this multiple times in the same trans. If you buy $50 of these qualifying items, making sure that $40 of them are Unilever then you will get $20 worth of free meat ($10 for each set of $25). So you buy your $20 turkey or ham with this $50 worth of items and get the turkey or ham for free, then submit for the $20 rebate from Unilever and get it free twice!

Just thought I would pass this information along for your other readers! By the way, I enjoy your blog very much. Thank you for all the savings information.

I was able to find the rebate form in the Unilever section of the coupons which had the Skippy, Breyers Ice Cream etc coupons in it. I have included this information also in my blog, there is a website that links you to information on the rebate. Perhaps an email to Unilever might help if you didn’t receive the original in your Sunday paper.

  10. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I live in SC and did get the form in my Sunday paper. If I remember correctly, it does say that only an original form can be used – FYI.

  11. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi, Thanks for the fun and useful blog! Just thought I’d share a phone call I just made to Unilever: On the page with the products included in the rebate there is a scrolling bar at the bottom that shows most of those items plus some laundry products including All. I called to find out and the All is NOT part of the rebate – just thought I would let you all know in case you were wondering as well. On a happier note, based on my call, she offered to send me a coupon booklet that should arrive in a few days. Might be worth a call to find out if they will send you one too! Jill

  12. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    The mind boggles!

  13. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hello! I was wondering if it could be any kind or ham/turkey, i.e. Honey Baked Ham?? THANKS!

  14. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

🙁 the coupon nor the rebate form was in the Sunday paper here in South Florida. No surprise though, we always seem to be left out of the good coupons!

  15. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Breyers ice cream appears to be one of the brands included in the deal. With coupon, these are $1.50 at Meijer this week. I got 5, so that covers the first 12.50 (5 times the before coupon amount of 2.50) of the amount.

I’m also wondering if it’s possible to use this rebate to cover a Honey Baked Ham. I wonder if they would have any sales on the day after Easter. I don’t need a ham for Easter, but I would love to have delicious sandwiches for the whole week after!

  16. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My paper was missing the insert also. However, i did purchase a rebate form and 40 Axe coupons on ebay. I think it was like 5.00 total. Cant beat that.

  17. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’m pretty sure you can get any ham or turkey you like. Just remember that you will only get up to $20 back.

  18. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Our Smith’s(kroger) store just had a caselot sale on skippy PB. I used the coupons in the flier to get the price down to 85 cents for each PB. I bought two cases so now all I have to do is buy 10 AXE trial size and I get my free ham! yeah!

  20. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I have a question about this deal. I bought Lipton Green Tea at my Walgreens. Original price was 4.29 before the in-ad coupon which made it 1.99. Then I had a 1.00 off peelie. So my final price was .99 cents. So what price will they consider to go towards the $40. Becasue the way it looks on my receipt shows the discounts for the tea right under the original price. Thanks for the help. I am new to sending in the rebate forms.

  21. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The trial size Dove deodorants are .99 at Walgreens. If you use the $1 on any (1) Dove anti-perspirant/deodorant (doesn’t exclude trial size) that was in the previous week’s paper, I think you could do this deal just like the Axe deal for some free fillers to bring you up to $40.

  22. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Anonymous,
You would be able to use the $4.29 cost to go towards the rebate. Rebates are usually always caculated before all manufacturer coupons and in-store coupons!:)

  23. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Went to walmart today, got 20 of the axe trial sizes and it was a nightmare! It was like they called out the coupon police!!
Anyway, after a loooong time I was able to convince them that the policy was 1 coupon per ITEM, not per transaction. They begrudgingly let me use my coupons so I got the 20 axes for FREE!!
