I tried to use a manufacturer’s coupon at Toys R Us to purchase a Tag Jr for my son for Christmas and they told me that they only accept store coupons. The manufacturer coupon from Leap wouldn’t scan and the cashier said it’s because they only accept store coupons. I asked her if this policy included manufacturer’s coupons for diapers, formula, etc and she said it did. Has anyone had any luck using manufacturer’s coupons at Toys R Us?

I am in CA, and have used manufacturer’s coupons more times than I can count at Toys R Us…for diapers, wipes, games, toys, etc.; including on BOGO products…most recently when they did the buy two Trio products, get one free. I used three of the $5(?) off coupons. I’m not sure what the exact policy is, but I’ve never had an issue.

Hi yes i have used man. Diaper coupons all the time at toy -r us i used the Fisher price ones on Black Fri and they scanned with no problems

I just tried this in Bloomington MN and it did NOT work. The system would only take one coupon, and it wouldn’t take a coupon for the free item. The manager tried anyway, but nope, the 2nd coupon wouldn’t go through. Still, $10 each isn’t so bad for the newer games, especially.
Also, Kai-Lan Leapster game and Jedi Reading Leapster game are each $15 at Target around here, making them $10 after the coupon.

So frustrated by the lack of consistency. They would not take both of my coupons. Said it was coupon fraud. So I planned on buying 2 and spending 15…but now I bought 4 and spent 40.

Does TRU have a coupon policy on their website? I went to the TRU in Novi, MI and they were willing to take my coupons. I had 4 for 4 games total and they said I could only use 2 that I could not use a coupon on the free item. The other question was Lisa commented that it worked for her, which location did she go to? Did this today, at first she wasn’t going to take both coupons then I stated my friend did and it worked for her (Collin being my friend), then she scanned the coupons and the computer accepted so I scored!!!!! THANK YOU!
