Had an absolute blast at Old Navy!!! $300 worth of clothes for $23. There were some pants I was in love with last August, but didn’t want to pay $32.50 for….well I got them today for .97!!!!! I got one in every color! Unbelievable! Plus I had a gift card for $25, so I walked out of there with $2 cash back.

    • Sheila

AMAZING!! What a great day for you!!

      • Sandy

75% off at my local Target. I bought a cute crawling baby toy for my daughter for only 3.74.
I also bought the Magic Reveal Oven set for 4.98 and some little magic reveal sets for 1.98
I spent only $10.70 which was awesome!
My daughter already loves her baby doll.

  6. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I got some really nice toddler boy things tonight at Old Navy in Indiana! I got 2 hoodies, 2 polo shirts, and a pair of sweat pants for $14!!! Full price it would have been about $85! 🙂

  7. Jessica

AAHHHHH you guys I love Old Navy! It was my birthday today so as a lil present to ME I decided to splurge and go shopping for clothes. I spent $34.50 on items totaling $183 retail! Plus to make it all the better, the black trench coat I have been eyeing forever was on clearance. It was indeed my day.

    I got:
    1 pair jeans
    1 sports bra
    1 sweater
    1 fleece jacket
    1 trench coat
    1 fancy shirt

Happy Birthday to me. hehehehehe 🙂 I even took a picture (nerd alert!) because I knew you guys would be the only ones to appreciate this major score 🙂

Happy Birthday Jessica..and thats a real cute coat!! 🙂
      Enjoy!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Happy birthday! Great present for yourself!

If you go to Target, look closely at the board games. I found peelies on the Hi Ho Cherry O games for $2 off–and they were only $2.48–so I got 4 games for just .48 each. There were more available but not every box had the peelie on it.
Old Navy is cheaper than a garage sale right now. Look for the ones that don’t get as much traffic and you can really score big. My favorite purchases include 11 pairs of sandals/flip flops for $5.17 (.47 each) and a puffer coat for my toddler for next year for $4.99. I also scored a beautiful brown wool coat for $13.99 that was originally $99.50.

  9. Maria

I was so excited I dragged the whole family to Target this evening. Everything was pretty picked over, but I did find a my little pony castle originally $34 for only $8. 🙂

  10. Anna in NC

Went to Kmart this evening… had 2 $5 coupons that expired today for Mr. Potato Head Spud toys. I bought Mr. Potato Head parts and pieces (pizza) that had a price of $5.59. They rang up $4.99 each. So I paid $.75 for both! 🙂

  11. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Saw people at Target with 3 or more carts stacked with a ton of toys LOL! People really go crazy with this whole 75% off stuff!

  12. jenny

my old navy was picked over for little girls, had tons of womens clothing though. got 3 pair flip flops,ls sweater for me, and 2 tanks for $5.

  13. Nichele

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went to Old Navy today with the daughter to score and then found out about the additional 50% off of clearance. Some stuff was as low as .25 for a top. We got some awesome stuff. I scored the 50.00 off 100.00 purchases so we ended up getting 220.00 of “clearance items” (already marked down) for $ 60.24. What a sweet deal. She scored jeans for 2.80 (and not a size one either). 🙂 Some of the jeans were normally 29.95.
We then hit up target. I got a very noisy fire truck for the nephew for $5.00, reg $20.00. Got a sing-a-long for $4.97 and a baby driver for 3.74 for the granddaughter. WE ahd fin today!!!

  14. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I know I shouldn’t share these secrets with my hip2saver buddies BUT some hints on how to get some discounts from ON put the blue t-shirt under the green tank. I was SOOO excited to get that one and if you turn all the shoes pink you could have gotten $50 off 100… I’m bummed I didn’t get that one but it was fun trying. ANYWAYS… Good luck friends!

  15. Aleisha

My target (Oregon) was SOLD OUT of toys. was so disappointing! Last year wasn’t even cleaned out this fast so I was in shock! I am going to another one tomorrow…and ON too!

  16. Peggy

Darn, I wish I would have known about ON! We only have one ON store, and it’s very high traffic (attached to the mall), so everything goes really quick. I may have to go check it out tomorrow anyway.
I did get a few things at Target. I knew the toys were going 75% today, so was already prepared. ;0) Unfortunately, I was big-time sick today, so sent my mom in my proxy. She got me the Little People ice cream truck ride-on that I really wanted for my daughter for only $9.99! I also got a few Christmas gifts (the Magic Reveal oven for only $4.98!) and my mom picked up some raffle prizes for our family reunion in July.
So, it was a pretty good day, but hopefully I can beat it by scoring some great deals at ON tomorrow…wish me luck! :0)

  17. Alisha

I scored $200.00 worth of toys at Target for only $48.00!! Then got over $400.00 worth of clothes for my kids (37 items) for only $61.00 which is like 85% savings!!! Going to another one to try and score some more deals in the morning!!! Thanks for the heads up Collin 🙂

  18. anon

what shall i do with the water bottle the blonde girl is holding???
it moves but i don’t know what to do. does it do something?

  19. Amber

I’ll join the shopping brag club 😉

I was lucky to score a $50 / $100 coupon last night from ONW, so I was able to really clean up (although not as much as another girlie above 🙂 ). The kiddos clearance was really picked over (I’m in Provo, UT and was fully expecting it), but I was able to get quite a bit for my boys for next year. I also picked up some stuff for me and DH. All said and done, I spent $56 on $492 worth of clothes! My receipt is 4 1/2 feet long! It was sooooooooooooo much fun. I’m definitely addicted to deal shopping – such a high 😀

  20. Lynne W

Not much left at our Target, but I did pick up the F.P. Buzy Bee for $3.48, Peek- A – Boo Hello Kitty Mini Barbie for $1.44, and some soft miniature animals for $2.38 each. Also I used my $2 Aveeno Coupons on the Body Lotion 2.5 oz so it was only .89 after Q !!! The Welch’s Sparkling Grape juice in the Red and Green holiday labels are also on Clearance as were some assorted Neutrogena make-up, Sally Hansen nail products, etc.

  21. Lauren

I didn’t manage to make it to Target before they closed, but went to grab the packing tape at Walmart and passed their toy section. HUGE clearance! ALl kinds of stuff down to $1. Leapfrog accessories and Tag books around $5. My best find was actually hidden in the regular clearance section and was the Ocean Wonders Aquarium which was $3! It was labelled $35, glad I scanned it to see if it had been further reduced 😀

  22. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Found a Cat in the Hat tag book marked down to 3.37 used my 4.00 coupon! Woo-hoo free book at Target. Found cute dog clothes for my girl’s stuff dogs she got for Christmas. Went to Children’s Place and Old Navy got my boy 5 shirts, a old navy hoodie, and a pair of cords and my daughter 15 shirts and 2 cords for next year…total 84.00 between the two stores! Pretty good I think.! I think all I will need for them is a great deal on jeans! Last week I did score some for 4.99 each at Children’s Place but they fit them now. They didn’t have any to get them a size up for next year. But they a long so maybe I will get lucky and they can still wear them starting in the fall. I won’t hold my breath…they get the growth spurts out of no where!! Ha!

  23. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I was in Bath & Body Works today and they had lots of stuff 75% off and even 90% off!!! I got a couple home fragrance oils for $0.75 each, a full size bottle of sheer freesia lotion for $0.95, and a Christmas polar bear stuffed animal for $1.00, and a wallflower unit (with nightlight) for $1.87. Their signature collection is also buy 3 get 2 free or buy 2 get 1 free. Yahoo!

  24. Rebecca

I believe this was a local score (Owasso, OK) but HOLY COW. I went to ON last night after Target and had over $50 of half off priced clearance so I could use my $10 off $50 and when I went to the register everything that ended in a “7” they were over riding and ringing up as $0.48. I ended up only spending $27 and I had 2 huge bags of clothing. Unfortunately it was closing time or I would have gone back and doubled my load. So instead I am heading back this AM to really do some damage. So for those of you that haven’t made it to ON yet you should check on whether they have the $0.07 price override deal before loading your bag. Like I said though I think it was specific to this store because they are overflowing with clearance ranks. Good Luck!

  25. Linda

Went last night – had a great time – 3 shirts & 3 sweat shirts for my daughter along with 3 pairs of mittens a couple of scarves (cause they end up in lost and found) 5 shirts for the hubbie and couple of other misc. items and I got out for under $25.

  26. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Ughhhhhh. I am so aggravated I have to work today and I live 30 minutes away from Old Navy. We are going to that part of town tonight but I am sure by then everything will be gone!!!! That STINKS!

  27. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Planning on hitting up another Target today! Got some great finds yesterday. My Little Pony Playsets from $32.99 down to $8.24, MLP Soft Plush Starsong from $44.99 down to $11.25, Super Why Toys, and lots more! Spent $35 for tons of stuff!

  28. Megan

Just got home from Target and Old Navy. Didn’t find anything of interest at Target, but did awesome at Old Navy! I got 17 items for $33! Wahoo. SO excited. I always miss these sales. Thanks so much for the reminder:)

  29. paula

My target is empty. Everyone bought everything at the 30-50% off. Oh well.

  30. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hit Old navy this morning. Bought 7 shirts for son & 7 shirts for daughter; plus coat and fleece lined pants for my hubby. And a clearance football! All items were 50% off the clearance price and i had a 10% off coupon. Paid about $45 for all this stuff! wahoo!!

  31. Kim

Target – Just went this morning…thankfully mine was not totally wiped out yet. I really wanted the pony sets, which i scored two kinds….the bubble gum and castle (gifts for my daughter and neice). $8.74 and $11.84 respectively. Found a tinker bell big wheel for 50% off and grabbed it b/c $20 is not bad for that bike plus it was the last one. Found some Kailan stuff, Yo Gabba Gabba, Dora, Little People, games, puzzles, Dinosaur toys, Princess & the Frog kissing frogs —all 75%…Some stuff was still at 30%….how long will this go on. In any event, I spent about $225 for $750 worth of toys (and a few other things). Overall a 70% savings. Plus, when I have a b-day coming up…no rushing to the store for gifts.

  32. Beckie

Okay Collin, I owe you big time. Just got home from second trip to Old Navy. First trip was last night and I spent $26.67 with tax on 23 items that retailed for $353.50 – not bad, I did pretty good. But they closed last night and I wasn’t able to finish shopping as I got off work late so this morning I went back and purchased 59 items for $43.91 with tax (used my $10 off $50 coupon) on ***GET THIS*** $770.50 worth of clothing – can you believe that, I know I couldn’t. I also scored a couple deals (8 item) at Target paid 38.99 with tax for $144 worth of toys – barely seems worth mentioning after the major BONUS i got at ON. Which truly may have been my biggest discount shipping trip ever. I think my husband is going a little nuts but that is just because all he found at ON were flip flops (not on clearance, I might add), typical male doesn’t want to dig through the racks to find a good deal, but my little boys, my nieces and I have plenty of clothes for this year and some for next year. Again – THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU Collin!!!! Now I need to go read the Walgreens post as I have some RR that are due to expire in a couple days.

    • Beckie

Make that 60 items and retail total $778 – my boys had snuck off with a book I bought them.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awesome deal!!! its sooooo exciting. now im in the ‘hangover’ stage!! 🙂

  33. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I just got back from Old Navy! I got 12 pieces of cloths for 66.49 and they originally would have cost 262.50 plus tax! They had the holiday t-shirts marked down to .47 and then 50% off of that and they were only .28!!! You can’t even get that at a garage sale!

  34. Alisha

Just bought a suede Sherpa lined pea coat for my daughter at old navy …regular price $49.50… I paid…. .80 cents!!! How awesome is that??!!! It was marked down to $15.99 but it was dry clean only and had a small black smudge on the end of the sleeve so I asked if we could get a discount and so I got 50% off the marked down price so $8.00 and then she rang it for 90% off of that for a damage discount!!! It really never hurts to ask if something has a spot on it. Thanks for that tip Collin!

  35. CA

83.53 for 42 items. Used the 25% off from the oldnavyweekly.com site. Probably would have been a little less if my shopaholic 3 year old wasn’t with me and wanted 3 pairs of shoes. One was a pair of grecian style jelly shoes for .36! Socks for .18!

  36. Danae (The Busty Baker)

Just got back from my 3rd ON trip. In all, spent $20 on $262 worth of stuff! Found 2 skirts and a pair of shorts for .47 each! And I still have money left on the gift card I got for Christmas, so no money paid out of my pocket at all! Thanks for the heads up about the sale!

  37. Sara

I went to Old Navy this morning and used $50 worth of rewards I have from my ON card. If you don’t have an ON card, SIGN UP! They have great promotions and you get tons of rewards back! So I wound up with $244 worth of stuff for $3.09! A very successful morning!

  38. felicia

you guys are lucky all targets and old navys near me are whiped out of toys and kids clothes! ugh!

  39. Kristina

Went to Old Navy this morning and the little girls section was pretty picked over, but I still managed to find things! 🙂 But for me, my husband, and my three kids, I got 4 big bags of clothes. The original prices on all of it (yes, I added it up because I was curious) was $465 and I spent $57.04 including tax. AWESOME!

  40. Katie

I noticed that Noodleboro was on sale at target for $6.24 a great price and it’s a really
fun game, it’s my daughter’s FAVORITE game for a year now, she’s 4.

  41. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Target has the Barbie Ride-In Jeep for $125. Down from $250! Great deal for next Christmas.

  42. Julie

Wow- I love Old Navy clearance! Last night I stopped by and got some great stuff for my 3 year old boy and baby girl. I got $672 worth of stuff for $107.83!! That is like 85% off the regular price! SWEET 🙂

  43. amy

I got lucky and got some stuff at my Target on thursday as they had just marked stuff down, but I went to 3 other local Targets and all of them were still at 30-50% off only still. Guess i’ll keep waiting though all the good stuff was at the Target that did get marked down and I was able to grab some…..Sounds like I really should take my girls to Old Navy they don’t need any clothes, but at those prices….LOL Make them spend their own money!haha

  44. just me

Yesterday in Cola, SC: got a bag full of clothes for my 6 yr old (mix of summer, fall, and winter ~ i always buy for next season) for $22 after using a 25% cpn in combo with the extra 50% cpn. Well worth my 1 hr drive there! Target didn’t have more than 30% on toys at the time.
    Love your website, btw 🙂

  45. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I went to Target today and they had the 50 load size of Snuggle on Clearance for $3.24 and 32 load size of All for 3.98. I had a few $1.00 off coupons from All-laundry.com so $2.98 each. The toys had definatly been picked over…my store was down to just half an isle, but still got a 4 toys for $10 total. Thanks for this post Collin, I definatly racked up today!!!! :))

  46. Nikol

Got some good stuff yesturday at target and ON! I am heading to BRU today to get a few things and I am gonna check out another ON, figure it can’t hurt??

  47. Olivia

Collin…you are amazing! I just went to Old Navy right when they opened, and I got 7 items for about $12.50. Tops for Spring, Summer, and even some pj’s too (which by the way I really needed, so this sale was right up my alley!) I even found a really nice candle for $2.50! My most favorite item was a turquoise top for the summertime, and from what I heard…turquoise is THE color for 2010! YAY! It’s been a great day too because my hubby won tickets to see the movie, Valentines Day! Yippee!!

  48. igirl

West Des Moines Iowa Target has Gerber sleepers on sale for 50% off. Can be combined with the $1.00 off coupon on their website and you can get 2 sleepers for $3.98. Not to bad!

  49. Anonymous

Thank you so much for the Old Navy tip of 50% of Clearance prices. My daughter made out great!! The store by me did not have as many deals for my son though- but still really happy! I bought three huge bags of clothes normal price was just over $300 and ended up paying $54. Great deal!

  50. Abby C.

I totally scored at Old Navy this week! I won a $50 off $100 coupon from a blog, so I went shopping in the clearance section on Thursday and figured that I had made out like a bandit because I got so much stuff!! Well then I read your post here and called the ON near me to see if they had 50% off clearance and if they would price adjust my receipt. They said they would, so I dashed out the door. Mind you, on Thursday I spent about $58 total. I got $33 back from my price adjustment and then went shopping (again). I scored jeans for hubby for less than $5, maternity capris for less than $4 and great shirts for my children for less than $3 each!!!! Got great stuff for everyone in the house! thanks for the heads up Collin!
