Does anyone know if your last deal on the list is still working/active “Buy 2 Capri Sun or Chips Ahoy = $2RR”.

I was doing the deal over a week ago to get Chips Ahoy for free, but stopped since I couldn’t find any blog/blogger/post stating that it was still active and working on the .99 package of Chips Ahoy.

    Thanks for any help.

    • collin

      Hi Tracey,

The small packages of Chips Ahoy are still working for the Register Reward deal. However, they are not on sale for $0.99 per package anymore. They are regularly priced at $1.99, so after the Register Reward, you’ll be paying $0.99 for each package (same as the sale price).

      • Tracey

        Thank you Collin.

You have the best blog and I am so glad that I found your site last year. I can’t even tell you how much money you have saved me and how much I have learned. Like many I love your Follow Me Mondays videos, your tips have been so helpful and you have such a great personality.

        • collin

Thanks so much! You made my day! 😀

          • tiffany

it so hard to find the coupons on the wedsite and wasting all the paper to paint it. i have idea if you would able to scan and put it on a word doc. that would save a lot of time for people like me. thank i love your vidoe<3

    • Kortney

I was also able to use the Nabisco coupon for $2.00 off 2 Chips Ahoy plus get $2.00 register rewards last week.

    • Grace

I know the RR promotion is still going on but I don’t think the cookies are still 99¢ that was just a week long sale. However the regular size packaged Chips Ahoy are on sale for and they will work for the register reward.
      Buy 2 Chips Ahoy Cookies 9-18 oz. (select varieties) 2/$5 = $2RR
Use the $2/2 coupon found here: IE or Firefox (there is also a $1/2 coupon from the 12/13 SS)
Final Cost $0.50 each!!! For the full size package not just the little one!!

  2. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Dang…why can’t Indiana be allowed to participate in that beer MIR?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I agree, Im in TN and were not listed either!!!!! I would have worn out that rebate! 😛

  3. Melissa

I’m pretty new to shopping at Wags, and before I went I read the store guide which said to hand over MFR Qs, then Wags Qs. But when I went the cashier told me to always hand over the Wags Qs first???

    • Danielle Hull

Those are the Wags guidelines. If you get a store or employee that lives on the edge, they’ll let you do it to benefit you more 😉

  4. Rita

Are we sure that the Stacys Pita Chips are included in the Pepsi Rebate as well? Did not see them listed on the rebate form??? Anyone know???

    • Roger

Didn’t see them on the Coors offer.

  5. Danielle Hull

Thanks so much for posting this, Collin! I may do a meeting for our ladies’ group at church, and I will definitely be giving them your website info. You help me save so much time! And money 😉

I was wondering if you’re on a coupon forum? Maybe you could do a post on what qs you’re ISO, then we could help you out. Of course, then you’d have to give us your address…hmmm 😉

  6. Stephanie Stonis

Can you do both the $7.50 and the $10.00 rebate? They have different dept. numbers so I am thinking that you can, right? I am thinking of doing: 2 tostitos chips, 2 dips, 8 2liters of Pepsi= $20 – $3.10 in coupons = $16.90 OOP – 10RR – $7.50 rebate = .60 profit 🙂

  7. Keri

I think all the Stacy’s printables are gone. 🙁

    • tarin

just got mine. try zip 33322

  8. Nata-Leigh

My favorite part of the Coors rebate is the “deli items (any brand, any size)” … that covers a ton of things!

  9. ThriftyPuppy

Tracey: The small Chips Ahoy didn’t work for me last night. I think they’ve fixed the glitch, as it was only supposed to be the larger packages that generated the RR.

  10. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

How do you get the ad so early?

    • collin

There are various deal forums that provide ad scans way in advance—Slickdeals.net and HotCouponWorld to name a couple. I also find the ad posted quite early on IHeartWags.com.

  11. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The Wags DayQuil deal has Use 4 $2/2 but if you are only buying 4 then you would only be able to use 2. So then the price would be $6 and not $2 unless you had 4 $1.50/1 and that price would be $4. Still good that way I think.

    • collin

That’s a Typo… sorry! There will be a $2/1 coupon (not $2/2) in the P&G insert tomorrow! So the math on the deal is still correct.

  12. Ali Smith

A question on the first listed deal about the dayquil/nyquil products. It says to buy FOUR varying products, but then use FOUR $2/2 coupons. That would be for 8 products. So was that a typo and it’s really supposed to be $2/1 coupons? Or is the math wrong and you will really end up paying $16, getting back the $10RR, and end up paying $1.50 per product? Just trying to clear it up. Thanks!

    • collin

      Hi Ali,

Sorry about that. That was actually a typo. I meant to say use 4 $2/1 coupons. In the upcoming 1/17 P&G insert there will be $2/1 Dayquil/Nyquil coupons! Hope that clears up your confusion.

  13. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I have a question…when you list the diabetes and you booklet you say $1/1 (will deduct $10)…..does that mean that only one coupon will do that or do i need 10 coupons?

    • collin

      Hi AM,

All you need to use is one Walgreens coupon and it will deduct the correct amount off each one purchased. For example if you purchase 5 ‘like’ items and use one $2/1 Walgreens coupon, it will automatically deduct $10 when scanned.

      I hope that make sense!

  14. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Collin or anyone ~ Does the Walgreens pepsi RR include the Starbucks’ Frappacinos (I saw that the CVS pepsi RR does include them) ? Walgreens is more convenient for me.

  15. Ali Smith

Also, the ABC’s coupon book…all of the coupons in mine expired 8/31/09. Were the expiration dates different in others’? Just make sure you check the dates in yours to make sure…

  16. Ali Smith

AM–when it says (will deduct $10) she is letting you know that even when you only use 1 coupon, the computer knows to deduct it for every same item you bought. That’s one of the great things about Walgreens store coupons! 🙂

  17. Alaina

On the Coors rebate says buy beer AND the $30 Pepsi products. Am I reading this wrong, or do you have to buy beer for the rebate? I wanted to submit for the rebate, but am not interested in buying beer 🙂 Thanks!!

  18. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks guys. Also for the coors light rebate….. make sure your state is listed. There are only 17 states that participate…..Florida is not one of them 🙁

  19. Alaina

just answered my own questions! I didn’t realize that there were different rebates on that link! 🙂

  20. carla

There was a $1.00 coupon in AllYou Jan. Issue for $1.00 off when you buy tostitos and dip…it was on page 10.

    • tarin

lol was just gonna post that.

  21. Priscilla

Buyer beware when doing the Neosporin deals, I thought they were 2 separate deals.

I called Catalina today because last night, I went to Walgreens and did both Neosporin product deals in the same transaction, 2 of the lip health (overnight one UPC 312547238717) and 2 of the 1st aid ointment UPC 300810730884 and thought I’d get 2 $3 RR for each offer. When I questioned not receiving the other $3 RR, the store manager said they were part of the same deal. I didn’t have time to go back and look at the monthly RR tag by the products or to stand in line & return/repurchase 2 of the items. as there was a crowd of people behind me & I had to get to the grocery store & pick up a gallon of milk before they closed in 10 minutes.

Today I called Catalina. He looked up my transaction and from what he could tell the UPC from the lip health matched the UPC on my coupon and in this offer you don’t get a RR when using a manf. coupon. I asked some more questions. He said there is no way of a buyer knowing ahead of time if the deal will work or not, when using a manf. coupon.

I wish I had separated the 2 Neosporin item & maybe I would have received the $3 RR. Has anyone done both of these in separate transactions w/manf. coupons and received the $3 RR ?

I had a 2nd set of coupons to purchase a few more as this would help get through our WI winter. Now I don’t know if I want to risk not getting my RR and wasting time trying to do this deal.

    • Kelly

I have done the Lip Health (in the tube, twice). I did it the first week, okay, with $3 off coupons each, and received my RR. The second time, I used my RR by mistake and it didn’t print. All I know is that earlier in the month it did work. It’s okay stuff, don’t sweat over it if you don’t get it. I think I like my Fresh Effect better.

  22. tarin

The accu-chek deal is better than that. Use $10 off coupon than the $5 from diabetes and you and it will print a $10 RR so that makes it a $15 money maker! Nice!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

is the accu-check free with coupons? confused

    • SaraJC

I thought that was for the bayer meter. Though I did read on another blog that starting 1/31/10 the accu check will be printing a $5 RR. So free after q’s plus a $5RR is a great deal! But if you plan on using the diabetes & you q it would have to be used on 1/31/10 only since it expires that same day 🙁

      • Kelly

I’ve been wondering about that Accu check RR if it was printing. I’m a little chicken about working for the overage. Been pondering it all week. I’m taking a shopping sabbitical, and it’s bugging me!

        • Kelly

          P.S. the RR didn’t print

  23. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

WHAT? i am confused…I thought that was the other meter deal…..also, did any one see the accu-chek in the short ad for that?????

    • Deanna

Yes i seen it in there! I don’t know about any $10 rr though.

  24. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

For the jergens deal, I tried the smaller one, thinking 10oz, with the $3/2 manu coupon and it printed the $5RR, I only paid .24 each!! Did it twice 🙂

  25. Janet

I love it when you post these. (In my area we don’t have an early issue.) This is such a great list I had to copy it and post it on my blog. I hope you don’t mind. Thanks so much for all the work you do!

  26. Daphnemomof9

Priscilla, I did both the neosporin deals in separate transactions numerous times and always got the $3 RR. Sometimes they seem to come up with some goofy things for why things don’t work.

    • Sheila

Same here at multiple WAGS I have had no trouble with the neosporin not working with the RR

  27. Tiffany

Can I use a RR on a product that is supposed to produce a RR? IE…can I do the maybellene deal, use RR’s as my MQ’s and get the RR? Just trying to make the best of my shopping trips but don’t want to be shocked if it doesn’t work:) Thanks!

    • Uriri

You can use a rr on an item that is suppose to produce a rr, as long as it is not from the same family of products…i.e. don’t use a Nabisco rr on another Nabisco product or else it will not print another rr. But you could use a maybeline rr on a nabisco product which is suppose to generate a rr and it would work. Hope that was understandable.

This is probably a stupid question, but for the Frito Lay rebate, does salsa count as a dip? I have coupons that say buy 2 bags of Tostitos and get the salsa free. So That would deduct $2.5 for every two bags I buy. The rebate includes Tostitos chips and dips. So, is salsa a dip?
    My deal would be 6 bags tostitos= $15. 3 Salsa= $7.5 Total=22.5 – $7.5 in salsa Q’s.
    $15.oop, $10 RR, $10. Rebate= $5. MM

      Yes it is

  29. Mom of 3

Hi all! I have a soda question regarding this week’s Pepsi deal. If I purchase 5 of the 12 packs, which are on sale 5/$15, will I still get the $10RR? I did the Aquafina deal 2 weeks ago and it worked even though the sale price of the water added up to less than $20. Is the RR based on the regular price, not sale? Thanks for your help! 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi Mom of 3. this is a good question unfortunately i do not know the answer. but i was wondering if you did this deal and if so did you get a RR?

      • Mom of 3

Hi Rosa! Thanks for replying! I did do this deal this morning, but was afraid that it might not work. Just to cover myself, I purchased some chips, along with the 5 packs of soda, to get my out of pocket cost at $20. My $10RR did print, but like I said, I bought 2 bags of chips just in case. Still, what a deal! And, my Wags lets me use RR’s on milk and gift cards! Wow! 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The water deal had a coupon for the discount. The 12 packs are on sale, so you need to fill in with another product to make it to $20.

      • Mom of 3

thanks Sadie! That’s what I thought. Now I know! I’m actually off right now to do the deal again…

  30. Sheila

I have a question…I did the Aquafina deal and got $10 in RR last week. Can I use that RR to pay for my Stacy’s Pita and Tostitos transaction or will it negate the 10RR? Just not sure if it’s all the same deal. Anyone??? THANK YOU!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’m pretty sure that it will not work, because it’s the same manufacture. Hope this helps.

  31. Carissa

    Collin,

Thank you so much for going through so much effort to post these deals consistently each week! I had given up on Walgreens when I totally screwed up on a few transactions a few weeks back. There is just so much to know at Walgreens! You do such a great job of explaining everything! Anyway, I am actually excited to go to Walgreens tomorrow! I will be getting $74 worth of item, paying only tax, and will come home with $24 in RR!!!!!!! SOOO EXCITED! Thanks for your help!

    • Sheila

How are you doing that?? Please share what deals you are doing!!

      • Carissa

I am doing the Bayer Meters deal twice (pay only tax, get $26RR, or $13RR for each transaction). Doing the Neosporin Lip Health deal, the Hersheys Chocolate deal, and getting a gallon of milk(pay $5.09+tax, use a $5 RR from the Bayer deal, get $3RR back)!!!!!!! I’ll have to throw a filler item in for my second transaction, so I’ll pay a little more than just tax, but not much!

        • Carissa

I messed up again! I tried to roll the RR from my first bayer transaction to pay for my second transaction, and then didn’t get the RR from my second set of bayer meters 🙁 Oh well, i still only spent $6 and got $14 back in RR!

  32. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I have a question on the pepsi 12 packs. They are listed as 3/12 but my ad says 5/15. Does anyone know if the prices vary on where you live???

    • Stacy

I think 3/12 is the short ad price and 5/15 is the long ad.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

        what does that mean?

        • Stacy

There are two different ads, depending on where you live. One is short, only like 4 pages and doesn’t have all the deals the rest of the country gets. I’m sure you would know if you were in the short ad area.

          • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

            thanks!!!

  33. Amber

Will the $10 Accucheck MF Q beep since it is on sale for $9.99?

    • Amber

NM… I finally found my Q and I see that they enter the amount. 🙂 Yeah… $5 MM!!!

      • tarin

I early wrote that you’d get a 10RR back for the accu check deal. But It’s a MIR but I check my box and that rebate expired Dec 31 2009. So only a $5 money maker. I will be donating this and the BAyers ones to HAiti as I’m sure there are people in need there. Plus any of you that have extra formula samples or such that you didn’t use, may send that to haiti too.

        • Celina

mail the rebate in anyways!!! if you call the company they have a recording stating that if youpurchased the meter after the rebate expired that they are still honoring it.

  34. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Walgreens was a mess!!!! I was trying to check out for an hour!!!!! The catalinas were not printing and they kept trying to tell me it was because of coupons which I knew wasn’t true. They finally gave me a gift card. I got some great deals but not sure that it was worth the trouble and time!!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Try checking out at the cosmetic counter- it’s a little slower pace so you can watch your coupons & make sure the Register Rewards print without the stress of possibly holding up a line or everyone hearing your business. It’s a lot less stressful & I hae a great cashier there too! :P: HTH

  35. Lisa

What’s the scoop on the Tylenol Recall on products? Is there really any of this product available in the stores?

  36. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Well I went to walgreens and got 10 of the planters jars of peanuts. they will end up free after $10 rebate so I’m really excited about that. The hershey’s candy bar didn’t work as listed….the coupon $1/1 from SS states one per purchase so the second one beeped and they wouldn’t give it to me so 2 big dark chocolate candy bars for $1 instead of free.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I got four chocolate bars and it worked fine

  37. Ashley B.

FYI there is a $1 coupon wyb 1 bag Tostitos and 1 dip in either Dec or Jan All You mag! I also have some $1 coupons from Frito-Lay co. since I had emailed them a while back to let them know how much I love their True North chips! I need to start emailing again!

  38. Christine

Has anyone tried the Vicks deal as listed above? Any issues?

    • Jill

I tried the Vicks deal and the register beeped with the second coupon. The cashier found that the coupon said one coupon per purchase.

  39. AmyC

Does anybody know on the Pepsico deal can you use two different receipts when mailing in the rebate (one from Walgreens and one from CVS)??? HELP!! Also…why not do the $15 rebate for purchasing $30 or more??? Am I missing something….

LASTLY…I am also wondering do Stacy’s Pita Chips count in this rebate..I don’t see them mentioned ANYWHERE on the rebate form???

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

i believe you have to purchase the beer to get the $15.00

  40. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Just did all my deals.

I did the John Frieda deal and got two root awakening shampoos… and I got a $3 RR (only for john Frieda Root awakening products) back!!

With the REVLON double twist mascara… they had several bonus packs (2 mascara’s instead of 1). HOWEVER, the RR is only good on your next Revlon purchase.

    GREAT deals!

  41. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’m new to the world of coupons. I see that there is a buy one get one free on the blue diamond almonds ($3.49)….can I use two MF coupons on this deal? I have a dollar off per item? So I think it would be $1.49/ about .75 each?

    • Christine

      Yes you can

  42. Hailey

I have done these beer rebates before but never been able to print them. Will they still take it if it is printed? Normally you find these rebates at grocery stores.

  43. Denise

GRRRRRRR…….sweet cashier, but she wouldn’t use a $1 off coupon for the Mitchum deo offer. Said they couldn’t take it because it had the Target logo. I tried to explain it was a MFQ, but to no avail………. $1.99 still beats even Walmart, but boy, did I hate not to get to use it. I didn’t have time to argue, but I did send a request to Walgreens to clarify whether I should have gotten it or not. Still, I saved over $32 and only spent just under $8, so I’m smiling anyway!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Denise,
I’ve not had success using the Target-logo manufacturer’s coupons anywhere but Target, so I’ve started asking Target to price-match any items from other stores where I’d hoped to use that coupon. I suggest you take the Walgreens ad with the Mitchum $1.99 coupon in it to Target along with the pesky Target-logo manufacturer’s Q and let Target match the $1.99 pirce and accept your $1/1 Q! I plan to do that tonight with the $1.99 Colorsilk hair color coupons. I’ll let you know how it goes for me!

  44. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Went to Walgreens at 3 am as usual. Spent an hour shopping. Got up to check out RR not printing. They called in but I still had to put everything back. So frustrating!! I went to the other walgreens at 8 am when they opened and got most of the deals I went for. I didn’t even want to try the other one. I did do the Vicks deal. Love the puffs with the vicks in them btw. They are helping out my cold so much. Thanks again Collin. It was the walgreens by the Jacksonville mall that wasn’t printing.

  45. Pilar

Haven’t seen this anywhere: fyi, I did the M+M’s deal yesterday, using the Wags coupon and a manu, each $1.00 off 2, and ended up with 1 dollar RR!

  46. RobinS

FYI on the Pepsi/Gatoraide $10RR deal. Last night at my store I bought 20 Gatoraide’s and used
4/.50cent coupons. Because the coupons brought my total below $20 the $10RR did not print.
My cashiers was nice enough to do a refund and then re-ring the transaction without keying in the coupons just so my $10RR would print.

  47. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Are the Stacy’s pita chips coupons gone already?
