Thanks so much for this q! Came just in time when I’m getting in desperate need of more ink. I have 3 cartridges to turn in and with that credit along with this q it should make for some very reasonable ink.
I ran out of black ink the day before yesterday….I’m trying to hang in there & wait until I get my Staples batteries ‘rewards’ that they said were mailed out on Jan. 15th! I usually have extras of everything, but ink is one thing that I can’t seem to ‘stock up’ on! 🙂
It say’s not valid on promotional items so I assume that excludes the $1 items?
For the rebate items, does anyone know what the rebate period is? I am wondering if I can buy paper this week and submit for the rebate if I did so two weeks ago. Are they done monthly or weekly? I was also wondering about the $1 items like Suzanne, are they considered promotional items, has anyone tried to use the coupon on them?
I think the paper is different this time than the last $1 paper with rebate a few weeks ago. I submitted both rebates yesterday. Just be super careful. You have to click the submit rebate button about 3 times (if I remember correctly). Click it even after you see a copy of the check that will print in your name. If you don’t, no rebate check will come to you. I made that mistake, and I think it is a little sneaky on Staples part. I have done rebates with them many times, successfully, but this is the first time I have felt that they were being sneaky about returning money. Check for an e-mail right away stating your check is on its way before consider your rebate submitted.
I bought 2 packs of batteries in December for the Staples Rewards. (I read the above comment.) I haven’t heard or seen anything. I guess I need to know what I should be receiving back – it’s my 1st time doing a Staples Rewards. Someone please explain…
