*HOT* Baby Basics Diapers Catalina Coupon Deal!

Remember the *HOT* $4/1 Baby Basics Diaper coupon I posted previously?! Well, the coupon is actually $4 off a purchase of $7 or more… still a good deal, though, and it gets even better if you read below!
Baby Basics is a SuperValu generic brand of diapers. These diapers are sold at Cub Foods, Acme, Albertsons and all other SuperValu brand stores. They are regularly priced around $7.99 per package.
It looks like when you purchase a package of diapers at one of the stores listed above for around $3.99 after the $4/1 coupon, a Catalina coupon will print off for $4/1 Baby basics Diapers–with NO minimum amount you have to spend! Plus, I’ve heard that some stores have Baby Basics diapers on sale for $3.99, so you could potentially score a FREE package of diapers and then yet another $4/1 Catalina coupon will print out! You can then continue to “roll” this hot diaper deal!

Yes, mine are rolling. Only I have been getting a $4 coupon AND a $3 coupon when I buy a pack!!! Plus, the $4 coupon is really taking off $5…weird. My stores have the old style diaper on closeout for $3.99 (so free), the ones that are labeled as “new and improved” are priced at $6.48 . The new and improved version are much softer then the older ones.

These diapers seemed to be okay but they made my son break out. All generic diapers do this though, so we can only do Huggies and Pampers. If your child has sensitive skin, these are probably not for you.

Oops, sorry! I think the cat must be regional, since I think Albertsons is the only store that carries this brand in So Cal. I think I will try my Albies tomorrow, so I’ll let you know if the cat prints.

As a mom of 5 I could tell you these diapers are good for day not for all night I have boy and girls and receive a coupon for a free pack every month from my insurance however they are cheap I use them only for day time.

I went to use this coupon at my Albertsons (in AZ). I got the larger pack of diapers for 9.99. The coupon scanned, but it took off $10! Needless to say, they didn’t let me use the coupon, so I just had them take the diapers off. What in the world?

No cat produced at Acme (NJ). But size 1′s were 3.99, so can’t complain about free! The coupon scanned just fine. I was purchasing other items (more than $7.00) so I think the cashier figured the “minimum purchase” was met. I hadn’t noticed that on the coupon before I read this post.

It did not spit out a cat for me at the Acme in DE. I was able to use the $4 Q on a $7.99 pack of diapers. They had clearance for $3.99, but they were size 1. Not a great deal, but worth a try. I needed diapers anyway.

Not always…the answer would be yes, if you were shopping at Jewel, but Jewel isn’t giving the CAT. When using a CAT, Jewel doesn’t require you to have the same # of items as # of Man. coupons.

I bought a pack on clearance for $5.99 – $4 coupon on Tuesday (Feb 2nd) at the NW Blvd Albertson’s in Spokane, WA. The only size on clearance was size 2. Can’t complain about the price, but no CAT printed.

I went to Albertsons in So.Cali, and the diapers were on sale for $3.99 – $4.74. Not all of them were on sale and the prices weren’t consistent. But I bought one package at $4.74 and the $4 came off no problem… no catalina printed, though. Great deal!!

Jewel manager said the coupon was not valid because the dates did not match, said store coupon at the top and had Smart source at the bottom. Too many inconsistances.

The cat deal is not dead, worked for me tonight. It seems that the cats are only printing at certain chains…..mine came from Farm Fresh. If I buy one pack of diapers I get 2 cats one for $4 and one for $3.

I was not able to get the catalina either… (Im in the Dallas area)So bummed but I did get them priced at 3.99/pack! The coupon did beep and there was some confusion because my coupons did not have numbers under the bar code and the cashier thought they were counterfit! It was embarrassing… The manager came over and said the coupon was valid but I was still embarrassed!

Just saw this so adding my 2c!
I bought beechnut babyfood last week at Jewel, Illinois and out printed a catalina for a free pack of these diapers up to $7!!! Even the cashier was impressed and said I better not lose it. Will redeem maybe tomorrow and have also printed the $4 Q’s so we’ll see if it rolls.

Went to Albertsons today(in Mesa,AZ) and they would NOT accept this coupon! The manager looked at it twice and would not accept it. He said they don’t do internet printables over $2. I was outraged! Why would they put out a coupon like this if their stores are not going to accept them? I will be calling to complain!

I just verified with Supervalu corporate that this coupon is NOT a fake. Dea Hendrix at Customer care sent me an email verifying that it is valid. She said please print and buy the new and improved Baby Basics diapers!! She was going to pass this on to others within the company, so hopefully the stores will get the message. If not, I have a copy of the email I can forward you that you can print and take.

Just used the coupon today at Albertsons in So Cal. No catalina printed, but the size 2 jumbo packs are on sale for $3.99, so free diapers! The coupons scanned just fine with no questions, but I was buying other things as well. The big box of size 3s (104 ct) were also on sale for $9.99, so it would’ve been $6 for 104 diapers, but they were out of stock. Other sizes weren’t marked as being on sale, so I didn’t try them. Can anyone verify if the size 3 or 4 jumbo pack or the size 4 big box are ringing up at sale prices? That’s the sizes I need. Thanks!

I have only found size N, 1,and 2 on sale for $3.99. All other sizes of jumbo packs were $6.48 at Farm Fresh stores.

I tried this deal at my local Farm Fresh. The size 1 diapers were 3.99, but all the others were 6.88. Still a great price for a pack of diapers (2.88)!! The sad part is I didn’t get a CAT
I am happy with 2 packs of diapers for 2.88 each!
