I don’t think the Nabisco deal will work. The register will beep when the $2/2 coupon is scanned because you are purchasing $1.98 in crackers. If they were $1/ea, it would work.
Of course, you could ask for it to be adjusted down, but the cashier I had today wouldn’t do so. I was buying a $0.99 item and using a $1/1 coupon.

The coupon will work fine as long as you purchase an extra box. Last time I did this deal, I got five boxes and used 2 coupons…..and no beeps. I wish I could print some more coupons.

yes that is correct. I had 2 $2/2 coupons today and added all 4 boxes at the same time, it took one of the coupons okay but not the other. The other one beeped, so i asked her to remove 2 boxes so i ended up getting at least one coupon to work by accident.

This is a big YMMV. I have a couple stores that will adjust down and a couple that won’t. Sometimes the cashier will do it at the store that doesn’t.

I had this last time and the manager told the cashier to adjust the price of the item from $0.99 to $1 and it worked…so you might ask them to try that..:)

I agree, this never works. You have to buy three boxes to get one coupon to work. I have never been able to get an item for free at Walgreens, your purchase price has to be higher than the coupon amount, they do not adjust down.
I always leave Walgreens so aggravated, the deals never seem to work for me. I think I am done with Walgreens and will stick to CVS. I hate being upset when I am shopping

I would appreciate any comments on this…..I was told that I can only use ONE register reward per transaction. I called the Walgreens 1-800 number and they said this was TRUE as well. Everything I’ve read online says that you can use multiple RRs as long as your coupon-to-item ratio is in tact (which mine was…and it still beeped my 2nd RR). SO frustrating to figure out multiple transactions, get the correct amts to use the RRs close to that total, etc. Any similar experiences? THANKS!!!!!

I started doing Walgreens about 3-4 months ago. I have always used multiple RR’s on a purchase. One of the cashiers did just tell me the other day (she has worked there a while) that you USED to only be able to use 1 RR per transaction.(this was before my Walgreen days) She said that was a past rule and that they have since changed it.

Just remember that you have to pay for any tax on what you buy. Register rewards will beep if your total (before tax) is lower than the amount of the register reward. Sometimes, I get confused because my total is higher than my register reward and it is beeping, but then I have to figure out what the tax amount is. Could that be what happened to you? Just a thought.

I think that If the multiple RR coupons you are trying to use are the same (you got them both from the same deal), then you can’t use them both in the same transaction. Something like that happened to me, so I did different transactions. I have used multiple RR coupons in one transaction with no problem, but I noticed that they were all from different deals. Don’t know if that helps or not!! (Hope I made sense!!

Thanks for ALL your comments! I had my first VERY successful Walgreens trip today with no beeps! I had a wonderful cashier who was a big help as well…I will only go to that particular store from now on. Corporate was wrong, because you CAN use multiple RRs in one transaction. However, like someone posted, you cannot use multiple RRs from the same deal (eg. 2/$8 RR from the Gel Tears deal last week)…..I learned that last week…..and I’ve also learned (before reading your replies) that I was just cents under the needed amount to use my RR (hence, the beep again….). So I think I’m good now!!! The manager told me to always have MORE items than RRs/coupons too. Not just an equal amt, but at least ONE more item than coupons/RRs and you’ll have no beeps. Works for me! I got $97 worth of products for $44…and earned $12RR and a $9 rebate…..that makes my total around $24 with all the savings. Yay! Thanks everyone!

I like to try to get the same ones so that way ya know they are always willing to help ya out/deal with you! BTW, its nice to have a back up plan for buying stuff too just incase they are out of items you went into get.

Hmm, I have definitely used more than one RR per transaction. Like you said, I just make sure I have enough items to cover the coupon/RR ratio. I hope they don’t start enforcing that, if that is indeed their policy!!!

It is $8.77 because they will charge you for the 3 most expensive items, in this case you get charged for both of the shiny lip gloss ($3.19 each) and one of the other ($2.39). THe 3 items you get free are each $2.39. HOpe that helps.

I need to know this too! I am new to RR and shopping at Wags so I can never remember. Also if I am going to do 4 transactions and get 4 RR can I then use all 4 RR on my next transaction of huggies? I know the RR wont print but if I want to buy 2 more packages of diapers on my 5th transaction and I am using both the Wags coupon and the MQ, will that work?

You can stack a Walgreen’s coupon AND a manufacturer coupon. However, the Walgreen’s coloring book coupon is supposed to only be used on the diapers at regular retail.

but the lady flatly refused to adjust down the price of the coupon saying she would have to pay me money and so did the manager….

Oh man! I messed up last night. I went to WG right before they closed (no really!!) and had my plan of action all in a row to keep the OOP low right?, well I was getting rid of a RR and also buying the Blink tear drops w/q and some of the Snack pack deal w/q. Well I had another first order also. Had that all figured out, and then this order and I get home and find I still had this Blink MM q in my jacket. I apparently forgot to pull it out when doing this 2nd order! There goes my MM deal!
I wonder if I can return it or something in order to get that $2q applied???? I could see them poss. returning the whole order, but know that its a new week, IDK how the RR would be done also the fact that I had a q on the Snack packs too?. IDK Maybe I should bite the bullet. Any suggestions?

explain to the manager what happened, if you still have the RR bring it back along with it, so that it doesnt seem that you are trying to get axtra RR (even though its no longer available) and ask if the 2.00 coupon can be applied. I have had different responses. target is same day only, cvs is no prob and gives me cash back, wags has given me cash and gift cards, so its worth a shot! just be truthful and nice and they should have no prob with it.

OK good news, WGs did allow me to get the $2 for this q!! Woohoo!. I think it helped the exact same peps were in there today and I talked to them last night and today so they knew me and were like yeah, no problem.
Sweeet. I used that Blink RR towards this Schick razor that after MIR, is free plus a $3MM. This way you can also cash out the Blink RR thru the MIR!!!! too. How cool is that? Gotta love MIR when they are at WG’s!!

Just a heads up, you can get the childrens tylenol for free if you have the Safeway coupon book from January (it was found in the health & beauty aisle). There is a $4.00 off of 2 for
all different items, including childrens tylenol. I bought 2 at 4.49 each (8.98 total) used $4.00 off coupon, them used a $1.00 off (total off $2.00) from Walgreens coloring book, paid $2.98 & got a RR back for $3.00. I did this 3 times and got 6 bottles for free.

I’ve never been able to find one??? If it’s not posted in the store somewhere or in their ad I don’t try because if the RR doesn’t print (which happens ALOT!) then there is no way to back it up & they won’t try again on a different register or give you a gift card. But, I have heard some just try it & if it doesn’t work in their store then they just return it later. I’ve never wanted the hassel, so don’t even try if I don’t have something to back it up. I never did see that really good water deal last month!

My Walgreens opened after the coloring book came out, so they never got any in. I found mine on Ebay! I paid $3 for it, and only the coupons came. Still, it’s been very valuable! I think the coupons expire 3/31, though, so you might want to decide if it’s really worth it to buy it now.
Also, since my Walgreens opened after the coloring book came out, they can’t just scan the coupon. They have to reduce the cost of the package first, which caused some problems a few weeks ago with the other Huggies deal.

Yes, when it’s a RR it is always one offer per transaction. So you need to do mulitple transactions to get multiple RRs.

FYI – we get the short ad in my area and the Schick Quattro Titanium razors were not advertised as being on sale or producing RRs. However, I had the manager check and they rung up at $9.99 (shelf marked at $11.99) and still produced a $3RR. So, even if your store isn’t marked for this deal – it will probably work (you still may want to check first, just to be sure).

The Walgreen’s huggies coupon beep, manager said they can’t stack manufacture coupon with walgreen’s coupon (after discussion she did it), then she wouldn’t give me back my Wagreen’s coupon for the huggies for any other transactions!!!!
