Do these taste any good? I’m wondering if I should bother driving out of my way to buy these! What flavors do people like? Thanks!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’ve never tried them, but several people at work say they are really good!

    • Nancy

      I work at Whole Foods.

This is Greek yogurt. It is higher in protein than regular but to me it has a “goaty” taste. I am not fond of goat products but I can eat this. I eat it b/c of the protein content and when I find deals like this. Of course I get my discount as well! 😉

      • bonnie79

Nancy do you know whole foods store ip policy? is the ip one per transaction? If anyone finds a link please post it..maybe i’ll call my store.

        • bonnie79

i just called my store…one per transaction:(… but they were so nice!

          • Jaime

I asked at customer service before I checked out and they clarified that it is one per ITEM. She even called back to the manager to make sure. So the deal should work – I suppose it depends on who you get, but they said yes for me and my cahsier did not bat an eye.

        • Nancy

I dunno. I am the Graphic Artist so I don’t work on the front end. I normally just use one coupon per item per transaction since I’m there everyday …. 😉

    • Kelly

This is the only kind of yogurt I eat, and I’ve been “buying” these like crazy this week. I think I’m up to about 30 in my fridge and another 15 at work. They last a lot longer than the sugar filled Yoplait varieties. I mostly buy the vanilla and plain ones, just because they’re less sugar, but I have tried the blueberry and strawberry ones and they’re totally tasty.

My Whole Foods let me “buy” 20 in my first transaction because it was the first time someone had tried to do this deal at their store so he let me do it “this once”. That was ok with me though because I’d been stocking up on the $1/1 manuf coupons that had come in the paper awhile ago and there were $1/1 in the January Preferred Naturally newsletter at Fred Meyer and I snagged a ton of those. I still have more coupons to use before this deal goes bust. I’ve been sharing with my office mates too, they think it’s awesome. 🙂

    Do these freeze well?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes, but the texture changes…if you don’t care about the smoothness go for it.

  3. Anna

Just did this deal and it was worth it. Joan, the yogurts are delicious!

  4. Sonya

You can use the plain kind as a substitute for sour cream! 😉 Even my kids couldn’t taste the difference.

  5. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

They are yummy! They do freeze well. Thanks for the tip. Love this store!

  6. Sonya

Another greek yogurt coupon is to go to the Chobani website where you can print a coupon for buy 2, get one free. I love good yogurt coupons! 🙂

  7. Rose

These are AWESOME, I get the plain and drizzle a little honey and granola on it. It’s really thick and creamy like sour cream.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      i agree 🙂

  8. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Did anyone notice in the USA Weekend that there are coupons for scrabble or monoply sorry or pictureka and scrabble deluxe coupons? Don’t throw it out. I am not sure these can be used on cards.

    • JodiSue1

I got them and didn’t see anything about not being able to use them on cards. Woo hoo!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’ve used the $5 picturkeka coupon on the cards that were $5.24 at target. I did this 3 different times and it worked just fine. No questions asked or beepers.

  9. Sarah

How many coupons can you use? Has anyone used 5 to get 5 free yogurts? My printer keeps on printing them!! 🙂

    • Noelle

Same question…does anyone know how many I can use at once? I love yogurt!

  10. M

These yogurts are SOOO good! If you don’t get the low fat kind, just eat them as a dessert or treat, b/c they are high in fat, but REALLY worth it! YUM!

  11. Erica

Anyone know Whole foods coupon policy (like how many coupons per transaction)?

These are great. I love the low fat with honey. YUM!!! But definitely stick to the low fat since the original is ridiculously high in fat.

  12. sabrina

AWESOME! I love greek yogurt, it is so good for you- I also printed out the chobani Q’s- are those found at Whole Foods too?
    Thanks!

    • Noelle

I don’t know about Whole Foods, but Publix carries Chobani.

    • Kelly

      Whole Foods carries Chobani.

  13. Crystal

I intend on getting as many of these as I can regardless of the flavor because I use yogurt to make fruit smoothies… yumm

  14. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Was anyone able to use more than one per transaction? I suppose it has to do with the cashier. I hope I get a nice one tomorrow who doesn’t interpret the “one per purchase” as one per transaction. I’m crossing my fingers.

  15. Allison

My only experience at Whole Foods was a couple of weeks ago on the same yogurts. They only allowed me to use their coupon once in one transaction. I bought 4 yogurts and they ran me up 4 different times. I thought this was so strange. They told me that I only could use “their own” coupons once in the same transaction. They told me if it was the manaufactured coupons they could be in the same transaction. Has anyone had this problem????

  16. mia

Yep, one coupon per transaction. They wouldn’t let me use more :o(

  17. Ann

You can also use it in a chicken marinade (I’ve done tandoori chicken using greek yogurt – the enzymes in the yogurt tenderize and the fat adds moisture), or for raita (cucumber yogurt condiment/salad), or tzaziki (yogurt cucumber garlic dip). Or just eat it with a spoon right out of the tub — not a sweet type treat like say Yoplait Delights, but delicious in its own tangy yogurty way. YUM.

  18. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It could be a MM if you do the coupon found in the Whole Foods booklet in front of the store and the coupon from 1/3 SS.

  19. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I live in Chicago, I was able to purchase 11 in one transaction on Thursday night, with no problem.

  20. Sherry

I live in CA and I did 18 yogurts w/ 2 transactions without a problem. Guess our Whole Foods doesn’t mind taking more than one of their own. I made sure however, to combine it with some other purchases.

  21. Rose

I just got back and got 10, I had 3 manufacture coupons and 7 whole paycheck er…foods coupons. They took all 3 mans and only used 1 WF Q. They said only one per purchase….yada yada yada the whole purchase-transaction story. All said and done 6 bucks for 10 Greek Yogurts is an ok deal. If I didn’t make a killing at WAGS today I would of just walked away, but I was on a coupon crack high…..so all is good. 😉

  22. Kristen

Anyone know when this sale ends?

    • Kelly

I believe the tag on the yogurts at the store said the 16th.

  23. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Alright, I’m so sorry but I have a truly not related question, and I am hoping some of you can help me. I am looking to make some extra income and am curious about all of these “at home data entry” and “make $500 a week at home” sort of online jobs. They seem sketchy to me, but I’m just not sure if I’m paranoid. Can anyone give me any good feedback, or maybe even point me in the direction of a company you have used and had success with or know is reputable?

    • Jennifer

I wouldn’t trust most of them… i did see a segmant on the today show a while back and they recommended elance.com or odesk.com, and I figured that if they were recommending those sites then they must be legit. I actually did some work for odesk- I like dit well enough

    • Ann

To Anonymous 9:58am: If it looks like a duck…. Easy-money-at-home programs, esp those advertised during daytime TV and by SPAM email, are bogus and a waste of your time. Follow your intuition on this. There are some home-based data entry jobs, but they don’t mass advertise for employees. You will find those types of legitimate jobs the same way you find a more traditional job.

  24. christina

Ive tried the plain yogurt in place of sour cream, you can BARELY tell the difference. Ive never tried the plain ones with fruit or anythnig like that…but greek/organic yogurt is MUCH MUCH healthier than other yogurts, less processed sugars in them.

  25. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Am I blind? I don’t see the 1/3 SS Oikos coupon…

  26. Shosh

I used 4 coupons this morning – the ones I printed from the Whole Foods site. The cashier took them all and didn’t say a word but I did notice that she had to override each one by turning the key on the register.

  27. Shanna

I love Whole Foods Market. I went in today with 6 of the yogurt coupons in hopes of being able to get 6 free things of Greek Yogurt which I love. The ones that they had labeled as 10/$10 were the 16 oz. The checker took all my coupons without any problem but when my total came back as $31 I knew something was off. I asked her if the ones I got where $1 and she said that the single size where. I told her I hadn’t seen any of the single size and that the ones I had gotten were the ones that had been labeled to be on sale. She was so friendly, checked for me and then asked the manager if they could give me a deal. He said to go ahead and give it to me for the $1 price since they had them misshelved. And they still took my coupons. So I got six 16 ox for free! I will definitely go back even though it is a little bit of a drive!

  28. margaret in seattle

just came back from our local whole food. what can i i say…i had 3 MQ from my sunday papers, 2 from their booklet by the entrance and 1 printable and they finally AGREED to take my MQs after a short meeting among some cashiers and manager. they kept saying b/c they are on sale and you get them for free.. blah….blah….so i asked them if i can use my printables if they are NOT on sale? they won’t answer me directly. as a low income family, i don’t shop whole food much and i really don’t know if i would ever want to shop there with ANY TYPE of coupons.

  29. Valerie

ok, I had a very difficult time at WF tonight. In CT, the Oikos Yogurt is $2.19, even though the online flyer states 5 for $5. When I got home I researched the internet for the flyer and then called the WF. The customer service rep stated, the flyer says: “Check your local store for selection and price,” which the CS told me gives them the right to have them on sale or not. Bummer, as I had 5 coupons to get them for FREE. Will wait for the sale to happen again.

  30. Jaime

Tried this today with SUCCESS! I did check with the customer service desk before checking out though, since I was not in the mood for a scene. 🙂 I had 7 coupons and got 7 free yogurts. I also got the Kettle Chips for a $1/bag.

If some of you DO go, be sure to use your Free chocolate milk wyb a gallon of milk coupons, too! Their milk is only $2.99/gal and is hormone free. That’s $.80 cheaper than my Publix for their regular stuff.

  31. Christi Johnson

love this stuff 🙂 tastes better in my opinion

  32. Renee

I was able to get 10 today, Free no questions asked. I also got some irish oats so I did have a couple of bucks OOP. does anyone know when this sale price ends?

  33. Valerie

Just looked online and our CT stores have Oikos on sale starting Wed 2/10. Grab your coupons and off for some FREE Oikos……Hopefully, I won’t be snowed in.

  34. Dee

    My Whole Foods run today:

Bought 4 bags of Boulder Canyon Kettle chips 2/$4
used two BOGO and two $1 off Q’s = $2.00

Bought 20 cups Oikos Greek yogurt at $1.00 each
    used 20 (10 MQ and 10 WF Q) $1 off Q’s = $0

After the cashier rang up all my q’s the total came out to $1.00 and I told her I thought maybe she scanned one q an extra time, because I thought the total would be $2. She counted and said no, it’s right. TOTAL OOP $1.00 The cashier was great, didn’t question anything.

Wish I could post a pic here the visual is great! muahaha
