Are you kidding me? I was just going through old inserts and almost threw these away! Thanks for posting this deal, I would have never thought to check out Toys R Us for this product.

  • vicki brown says:

You could also price match at Walmart

  • bonnie79 says:

is there a limit per transaction?

  • Steph says:

I saw these on clearance at my BRU for 90 cents! I already picked up bags.

  • Anon says:

I found this deal earlier today but was hoping it wouldn’t come out. Everything is always wiped out by the time I get there. So people should really try and not be greedy and leave some deals for others!

  • anon says:

If you can use the newspaper coupons works better.

  • I went to BRU yesterday and found a lot of Febreze items on clearance.

Aireffects for .98 (use the .50/1)
Noticeable starter kits for $4.98 (use the $4/1)
and Noticeable refills for $2.98 (use $1/2)

AND I used my $5 GC from Facebook. It made a great deal and I get to use these items for the P&G coupon book.

  • Melissa says:

Hope that everything isn’t cleared out by the time I get there tomorrow… which sadly Im sure it will be!

  • Amber in SC says:

I am so excited!!!! I love Terra chips, but HATE the price! I’m so excited to get some for free. I also have the ecard, so free, even after tax!!!!

  • Su says:

I tried to use a coupons.com coupon at Toys R Us last week and they told me that they dont accept printable coupons. Is this the company policy or just thjs store’s policy?

    • Sunny says:

I had this problem at my BRU during the Earths Best diaper deal. Cashier said they don’t take printables. Other ladies in my town, (with only ONE BRU), said they had no problem using printables. I think it’s a YMMV situation, but it soured me. (I HATE inconsistencies!)

  • Bonnie says:

I used a bunch of printable coupons for the Leapster games and for Sani hands wipes with no problem, call corporate and see what they say.

On another note, Hot Coupon World has a post about a rebate to go along with a $5.01 or higher purchase of these chips, but I can’t find the rebate form. Does anyone else have info on this?

  • Patty R says:

I snagged som extra $1 Terra chip coupons on: http://www.terrachips.com/

  • sara says:

are those the little single serve bags or the regular big bags?

  • cyndi says:

how do you get the $5 off $25 coupon if you do not have the sale paper? our local paper doesn’t have bru or tru sale inserts. is there a way to print it online? thanks!!

    • Melody says:

You can go to toysrus.com or babiesrus.com, click on weekly ads and print the coupon straight from the ad. I did this for last week’s sales. It does print a full page usually, so in your print options, choose just the page you want to print so the entire ad doesn’t print out. Hope that helps!

      • Rochelle says:

You can also ‘grab’ the image itself (with something like paint or preview in Mac) then copy and paste it to a new document and then just print that. It saves a ton of ink!

  • Amanda says:

Does anyone know if you can stack coupons at BRU? If I were to use a BRU coupon and a manufacturer coupon. Thanks!!1

  • Robin says:

I was just at BRU last night and my store had a lot of clearance on body products and seventh generation cleaning products. One example, a regularly $9.99 Olay Quench Body Lotion that was on clearance for $2.98 I had a coupon for any Olay lotion and got it for $1.98. I don’t know if this would be showing up anywhere else.

  • Christina says:

    ALERT :)

I just got back from TRU, this is what happened:

The chips were marked 3.99 each and there was a sign that said “BUY 2 , SAVE $2″….I asked them to check and they were ringing up 3.99 each and it would automatically take off $2 if you bought 2, this is MUCH different from what the add says, which is 2 for $2. I pointed this out and after A LOT of rigmarole, I was finally able to get them to adjust the price to match what their add states and was able to get the bags for free.

So, stick to your guns, have them look at the ad (even if they have to pull it up online) and get those FREE chips!!!

    • Erin says:

Didn’t work for me. They couldn’t access the ad online, and I thought I just misread it.

      • Erin says:

Oh, and the selection isn’t great. They had only three varieties of Earth’s Best snacks, which was fine because my son likes the cheese crackers anyway, but there was only one variety of chips–and only three bags! The ones I found were covered with dust. : )

      • kimberley says:

I’m sure they are doing that deliberately, that is the same thing they did with the Earth’s best diapers! totally dishonest!

    • Lori Clark says:

I had the same issue. There was a copy of the ad right there so I pointed out what it said to the cashier. She adjusted the price, although she didn’t seem thrilled about doing so. I got 8 bags of Terra chips (the shelves were stocked extremely well so I didn’t feel like I was being greedy getting this many) and 3 Mr. Goodbars (marked down to 38 cents each) for 0.14 using 4 Terra chips coupons and my $5 off coupon that I got the other week from signing up on Facebook. My husband was with me and he was excited as I was about this amazing deal!

    • jamie e. says:

the sign said $2 off of 2 at my store also, but I did’t realize the ad actually says 2 for $2 other wise I would have argued it! I just thought Collin posted it wrong and so I didn’t get any! Oh well! Can’t get all the great deals! :) I did a great deal on Tampax pearl tampons though! They had 40 count box marked down to $3.98 and I had a $1 off coupon from a sample I had got in the mail, so just $2.98!!! yay! They also have the always infinty marked down really low too, but I am not crazy about them so I didn’t get any. I also had the $5 gc from facebook so I decided to get a bottle with it! I don’t have any kids yet, but I like getting stuff so I am ready when I do decide to have kids!!!

  • Christina says:

P.S. I was able to use IP’s and sunday paper Q’s

  • Amanda says:

I wasn’t able to get the Terra chips but I did score on boxes of Cheerios they were 1.98 and had a 1.00 off coupon and same for Kashi cereal. I also scored on Stacy chips they were on sale for.98 and I had a 1.00 off coupon so I got them free. So I got 2 boxes of cheerios 1 box of Kashi and 2 bags of Stacy chips for 3.00.

  • Randi says:

no terra chips for me either…bummer. but I did score a swiffer sweeper and vac starter kit for $12.98 – $5 coupon from the Home Made Simple coupon book and used my $5 FB certificate… not bad for $3!! Anyone have this product and like it?

  • Margie says:

I had the same issue with the price being save $2 on 2 (3.99 each) I too thought that I had misread the ad. Wonder if I take the ad in they will adjust the price? Or maybe get a couple of extra coupons and try again…my family loves these chips.

  • Samantha says:

If you get 3 qualifying Olay products, remember to submit for the $15 rebate! Offer started 2/12.

  • Penny says:

I just got back from TRU, this is what happened to me too,

The chips were marked 3.99 each and there was a sign that said “BUY 2 , SAVE $2?….I checked and they were ringing up 3.99 each, csr said they werent’ in the system right but she would put them in at a dollat each , then used my 4 1/1 qs and got my free chips. I was also able to get 2 -2ct magic erasers w/ febreeze scent in them for .98 / box.
total at TRU tonight 2.35 for 4 magic erasers and 4 bags terra chips YAY YAYA YAYAY( Happy Dance)

    • KellyG says:

The same thing happened to me last night, so I asked the manager for a copy of the ad and showed it to the checker. They honored the price. If anyone is going to get these, I would suggest taking in your own ad to guarantee you get them to honor the ad price.

Also of note, all of the clearance “feeding” items are an additional 30% of the clearance tag. I got the Mickey Mouse fork/spoon set (normally $10+) for $2.48. And a few other items I had rang up for less than I expected. When does that happen? LOL

  • Ellen says:

I just got back today – bought 8 bags. There was no sign & they were only ringing up at 2.99 each (so basically $1.00 off each bag). The cashiers had no information or President’s Day sale flyer handy, but they were willing to adjust it down to $1.50 each (not lower) & I used 7 coupons so I got 8 for $5.00! (good) She did say that if I bring the ad in (I’d have to print it out & then drive another 30 minutes each way), she would adjust the price even further. I figured that $4.00 wasn’t worth the hassle of an hours drive & gasoline, so I took the price she offered.

They WERE very nice & polite but just didn’t know what was on the sale ad. Seems like mis-communication to me.

  • kelly says:

The coupon says Limit one (1) coupon per purchase…so doesnt that mean you CANT use 2 coupons?

  • Lynn says:

Just got back from BRU in Vernon Hills and they had a sign up saying the ad was a misprint and it was $2 off on the purchase of 2.

    • Rachel says:

i go to the vernon hills one too…bummer on the chips….

      • I went today too to Vernon Hills…(I wonder if one of you I ran into at Target and we were doing the deal on the Dove Body Bars) I took the chips up to the register because for some reason I thought they would be 2.00 a bag and since I had 4 $1 off coupons, I thought $1 a bag would still be a good deal, but they rang up 2.99. Would have been $8 and change for 4 bags of chips…I told the cashier nah I think I will pass and walked out. Oh well!

  • Erin says:

I went 30 minutes away to Babies R us to get the Terra and just like some of you, they did not have the ad, they could not get internet access after being in there for 30 minutes and they would not help me. I wasted 1.5 hours and left with nothing. ggrrrrr… I do not understand why they are not aware of their sales!?

    • DougieB says:

You drove 30 minutes for free chips? Please think a bit about the environment, and, if that doesn’t make you think, start to calculate an OOP cost of 50 cents per mile to drive. That is the MINIMUM of what it cost to operate a vehicle. It is not only gas, but oil, tires, depreciation, insurance, etc. etc. etc.

  • [...] * Get some free Terra Chips at Toy R Us and Babies R Us during their Presidents Day sale. These are priced 2 bags for $2 so if you use 2 $1 off coupons from the 12/6 Smart Source insert or click here (coupon the e-coupons link in the right hand corner) for a $1 off printable coupon you will get two bags for free. This offer is only good until 2/15.  Thanks Hip 2 Save! [...]

  • Danielle says:

Has anyone had a problem using a $5 off $25 coupon with a gift card? I was told that the gift card value would bring the subtotal below $25 and so I would not be able to use the $5 off coupon. I thought a gift card was a form of payment just like cash or credit.

  • Rachel says:

I had the same problem. $2 off two. I was totally confused and just returned them…
