"Follow Me Monday" Family Fun Edition!

WARNING to my regular readers…. For a variety of reasons this “Follow Me Monday” video is a little unconventional compared to previous videos. Having family in town (my mom and middle sister– not my older sister from Tampa), coming down with a cold and being seriously pressed for time contributed to a spontaneous and unique video post.
This video is less informative than my usual “Follow Me Monday” however there are a few good tidbits, yummy recipes and a peek into my morning routine – No makeup, bed head, and the ever so necessary cup of coffee.
I hope you enjoy watching the video as much as we enjoyed filming it… as you will clearly see!

thought is was so cute. I love the Salt Alarm!! I always wondered if it is Sea Salt is it then ok to use more. I dont think so but not sure. you and your sister are so alike! Your mannerisms are even the same! It was so funny to see you together and that she has a wonderful sense of humor like yours. I loved seeing the lemons yet again. I do not know if this has been suggested or not,so please forgive me if it has,but have you thought about having a contest where people post their guesses of how many lemons are in your video? You could hide some strategically,and then whomever posts the correct number first,wins a lemon shirt.

I get so frustrated not using some of my coupons somtimes, b/c I’m trying ot better (I mean really how many boxes of brownie mixes can you have on your shelf before you cave in!). Please please please!!! Do NOT salt Asian pears!! There is NO reason to do so as they are once of the juiciest, sweetest, most flavorful fruit out there. And I have never seen anyone eat them with their skin on either. They’re really expensive fruit so why ruin them by salting them and eating the skin? Just enjoy the fruit itself!!

At one point you showed that little booklet with coupon and mentioned the website you can request it from. I do not know how many people have Ukrop’s store close by, but they always have those booklets for free. They are on the table in the natural section or close by. There are many good coupons in it that I was surprised. I have never picked up those booklets before, since I personally thought that natural products are too expensive. With those coupon they might get sometimes close to free. Recently I found $1.00 coupons for any size Organic Valley milk and Ukrop’s had chocolate milk with the strew for $1.00, so after coupons they were FREE.

Loved the mango salsa but I’m surprised you use good seasons dressing mix when it is just a mix of spices you probably already have on your spice rack! There are lots of copycat recipes out there – google it!
