I just got back from Target and was able to score one for FREE! They had three dolls and one was marked $4.98 and the other two were marked $19.99. The only difference was one doll was African American and the other two were white. My kids don’t know the difference so I picked up the doll for FREE!!!! Awesome deal.

The only ones they had at my store were african american and they were not on clearance. Bummer!

Yorkville, IL had the hispanic one for 4.98, and the caucasion and african-american at full price. It was on the shelf at full price, but rang up at the 4.98 at the price checker.

I used to buy all the Thomas stuff I could from my local Michael’s craft store. They come out with a coupon in their ad (every other week I think) that is good for 40% off any one item. Only some Michael’s sell them though.

I would call ahead before going just to check. I called 3 stores before finding one that had two left. The stores that I called that were out were SuperTarget in Riverview FL, Brandon FL, and Town N Country in Tampa FL. HTH
i called three targets in the cincinnati area for this doll, and all are priced at$19.99 still.

Here’s the DPCI: 086-04-0091, when calling just ask them to look it up under that number. A Target employee told me that these are clearanced now and are $4.98.

I just talked to someone at target and depending on the baby they have different numbers. The number listed about is for the hispanic doll. The white ones are different and so you may want to check the other numbers. The white one is DPCI: 086-04-0106 and the african american is DPCI: 086-04-0105. My target had no hispanic dolls and five white ones but still 19.99 boo

Oh and for you all out here on the West Coast, I’ve started to notice a trend…at least at Walgreens. The Bayer deal that was posted a while back for the Quick Release Crystals, they JUST went on clearance out here at our Wag’s…I’m guessing it takes us a while to catch up? Started to see that at other stores as well.

It’s up to each individual store. I have two Kmarts near me but only one of them does double coupons and they don’t advertise it they just put a sign on the door. I think most kmarts now are franchises and not corporate stores. Just a thought.

I found some on clearance at the Lansing, Michigan (Saginaw store) and picked one up this weekend for free! I even got the .02 overage, yeah! They usually won’t do that there.

My Target tried to tell me that I couldn’t use a coupon for more than the price of the item because (GASP), I would be getting it for FREE. This was coming from a manager AND a trainer visiting from another store. So annoying.
if you go during daytime hours call corp from the store at guest services. have a print out of their coupon policy. its policy to accept the coupon and adjust it down.
For the gal whose Target manager said no…I printed their coupon policy from their website and keep that on me at all times. I haven’t had a problem at Target yet (some troubles at Walmart).
take the manager over to the kiosk in the front of the store and go to their website and pull up the coupon policy. It is right there in black and white in their face and they can NOT deny you then. I had to pull this at my Target once and the manager and checker were super grumpy about it but did the deal.
I don’t understand that, they get reimbursed for it. It’s not like you’re stealing from them.
The DPCI number reflects the Hispanic doll. So maybe that will help you spot them!

For any of you that live in Racine, the Racine store does not have any. The closest one would be Franklin and the Racine store could not give me a price for a different store.
I was only able to get the african american doll also.
I saw it only clearanced on the black doll.

Hey I’m in Reno, NV checked at my closets Target, only two in town, and they only had 4 blondes left at $19.99. Geesh! I was hoping for a deal…..Perhaps I’ll call the other store.
So I’ve called around to MANY stores and I found out that all Targets are different… one store might have it on clearance while another will have it for full price! Bummer!

yes go to couponmom.com and she lists all the deals in So. Calif. for Vons, Albertsons, and Ralphs. You may need to register but it is free… no big deal ( I use the coupon database all the time too and that you need to be registered for i know!) anyway click on Grocery deals by state and scroll down until you get to California, but then make sure to look for Southern California (northern CA has different deals) and it will give you the different stores to link to and the post will show the items sale price any coupons available and the price after them as well as telling you how much of a savings it is so you can really determine whether it is a good deal or not. Plus she even has posts for “unadvertised” deals and their coupon matchups as well! You can’t beat that! I have been using her site for so many years and have scored the so many free groceries thanks to her site. Check it out. (Oh I forgot to mention, the newspaper she gets her coupons from is the LA times and sometimes they have coupons that the other local papers do not so if you can’t find a coupon she says is available that is why)
