Question about the Kleenex deal. At WAGS, in my experience, when something is a BOGO sale, the second always rings up free. So, will that still work to generate the RR? In other words, will it recognize it that I got 6 to get the RR, or do I have to PAY for 6 to get the reward? Will the register only see it as I got 3? I hope I am making sense….

    • Sadie

It should recognize that you did buy 6 and print you a $3 RR. The RR is based on number purchased and not price paid.

    • Melissa

Mine rang up 1/2 price and I received the $3 RR when I bought 6.

  2. mafocap

Hi there, I just wanted to let you all what happened to me when I used the purex 3 in 1 sheets. I ended up paying $160 to have the washing machine man come and unclog my machine. I have a front loader and followed all the directions for correct usage. Our repair man said it has been happening a lot. This is nothing against Purex and may just be our machine but thought I would let you know. I was so sad because I loved them.

    • beth

we have the same problem with our front loader. It also like to suck in underwear in to the filter. It is a common problem and we quickly figured out how to clean that filter ourselves. We still use the purex cause they are so convenient and it doesnt happen all that often.

  3. Kim

Question on the Purex deal. 2 for 9.00. If I use the BOGO coupon wouldnt it be 1 for 9.00? What am I not getting? My brain is real slow today. (lets pretend you dont use the $1/1 coupon)

    • Sadie

The Purex is $4.50 each. So after using the BOGO coupon 2/$4.50. Then if you get a RR for $1.

      • Jessica

I got a great deal when I bought mine at shop rite 4 bottles for 1.16

  4. Jessica

Does the pull-ups count? I have 2 free pull-up coupons and a bunch of 2.00 off

  5. Jenni

Can’t you also use the BOGO Reach toothbrush coupon (not sure what insert, but it came out about a month or two ago?) along with the Wags in-ad Q and the $1 man. Q to get 2 for free plus overage?

    • ~Kendra~

yea, i still have this coupon. It was given to me after the last sale at Wags. I plan on using it tomorrow. I think it’s good til 2011 lol. The best kinds are the ones that have a long time before expiring.

  6. Robin

Is anyone having problems with Walgreens adjusting the $1.00 coupons for a $.99 cent item? My walgreens said they cannot and will not adjust down coupons, and it is considered fraud, so anything that is $.99 cents at the store, they will not let me use my $1 coupons…I asked for the manager, she said the same thing…they said if I bought more than 1 $.99 item, so 2 items totalling $1.98 then I could use my coupon? Is this true?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’m really worried about this too… If anybody has any success with the dental floss deal, please share!

      • Megan

Use your $1 off coupon first, then after you use all manufacter coupons, use your walgreens one, which makes the floss be 99 cents.. that way the $1 off coupon doesnt beep! Good luck!

        • Lauri

I had this happen with a glade sale a while back. The glade item was on sale for $3.99 and my coupon was for $4.00. The register beeped and wouldn’t put the coupon through and the cashier said she couldn’t adjust it down. I didn’t purchase the item.

        • andrea

This is what I did, and no problems = free floss.

    • carolyn

I have had that problem before, they MIGHT adjust the cost of the product instead of the coupon, but not sure if they are really supposed to do that either!

      • Kristi

My experience is that it depends on the store and the cashier. I have tried to use $1 coupons on 99 cent items and I’ve been told that I can’t do that and they will not adjust them down. I have also had the cashier go ahead and adjust the coupons down to 99 cents. I’ve also noticed lately that the cashiers to grab your store coupons first and then scan the manufacturer qs. Yesterday I handed the casher my manufacture qs first, didn’t even give out the store coupons, had them in my purse yet so she didn’t even know I had any, and she actually asked me if I had any store coupons to use before she would scan my other qs. Just FYI.

  7. michelle

is anyone interested in trading something for the crest coupons?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Which crest ones do you need? You can e-mail me at sapphire92782 @gmail.com

      • michelle

I am looking for the $2/1 crest mouth wash, need at least two of them 🙂

    • Maria R.

i am in the same dilemma here i need one coupon for the crest rinse. I was wondering though about the $1.50 coupon in the wags coupon booklet, i was under the understanding that the manufacturer coupon has to be less than the coupon in the wags coupon booklet is that correct? Please let me know and if somebody has an extra coupon for the crest let me know.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Maria & Michelle, you can email me if you still need the crest coupons. gotcoupons83@hotmail.com
I can send them out Monday.

        • michelle

          sent you an email….thank you!

          • Tiffany

I’d also be happy to share my crest coupons. Anyone who needs them can email me at jhtcowboys@aol.com.

  8. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Also, does anyone know if the Dr Scholls Custom Fit are included? I’m not sure how much they are, but there is a $10 rebate.

  9. Katie C

New at the Wags stuff…what is the RR stand for? I thought it was a rewards program but when I asked the employee told me that Wags does not do a rewards program. I am confused? Thanks!

    • Heather W

RR is Register Reward. They print out after you pay for your items.

      • Katie C

Thanks Heather…how to sign up for it then? Nothing came after my receipt.

        • Gina

You don’t have to sign up for the register rewards they print out on their catalina machines when you purchase the correct items. Hope that helps.

  10. Katie

For the Huggies, kotex and such deal could you buy 1 package of huggies and 2 kotex and still get the 5rr?

    I wanted to do
    1 huggies 8.99
    2 Kotex 5.98
    then use
    1 huggies coupon -5.00
    1 Kotex coupon -$2/2
So that would bring my total to 7.97 then get back a 5rr so 2.97 after rr and coupons. Will that work?

    • Mandy A.

Yeah you can do any combination of the products in the promotion!!

  11. Mitchell Wischmann

The Colgate in the February issue of All You is for $1/1 Colgate toothbrush, not the toothpaste.

    • Joelle

Yep. or wisp, but not toothpaste. Boo.

      • Joelle

Ha! I found it in Jan All You! $1 off 1 Colgate Total exp. 2/28.

    • Lauri

There is a .75 cent coupon in one of the recent inserts. My Feb. ALL didn’t have the $1.00 coupon either but the January issue does.

  12. Elisabeth

I’m looking for the right guard coupon on smartsource. Does anyone have a zip code that will show that coupon?

    • Lauri

You might try http://www.coupons.com directly and then not putting in a zip code. Sometimes when I go to coupons.com from my favorites certain coupons don’t show up but when I do a new search they do.

    • andrea

my zip is 46750…try that ( i had access to the q’s)

    • judy

      use 42303

  13. Heather H

Instead of using the $2/2 RIght Guard Deodorant coupon you can go to rightguard.com and click on All-star Savings and get a $1.50/1 Coupon. The cheapest Right Guard at my local Walgreens is 2.99 so you can get them both for free instead of .50. 🙂

    • andrea

I purchased 12 of the Right Guards on the B1G1 today (normally priced at $2.99 each). I used 6 of the $2/2 q’s (I have help printing). I also used a $4 RR from previous purchase. I got my husband deoderant (for the next year or longer) for about $1.29 plus tax. Yay me!

  14. Jamie

For the deal regarding the sudafed triple action medicine, can’t you use the $4/1 Q on coupons.com? Or is that for a different size?

  15. Elisabeth

    Sweet! Thanks Heather!

  16. Irene

I just wanted to pass along my experience with expired RR. I was very upset with myself recently, for letting 9 dollars worth of rr expire by one day… I tried them anyway and they worked. Seems the computer does not recognize the date, I think that if it had beeped for any reason the cashier might have noticed and not allowed me to use. In the past I didn’t even try but I am glad I did this time.

    • judy

I had some expired ECB’s from CVS and the cashier told me I could still use them, that they actually give them 30 DAYS TO EXPIRE after the date on the ECB’s but they don’t like to tell people this. I don’t know about the RR’s at Walgreen’s.

  17. Daphnemomof9

I printed up the $1.50 coupon for the Right Guard, but it looks like it’s just for Total Defense 5. I checked on Walgreens.com and didn’t see that type listed in the sale. Am I missing something?

    • Daphnemomof9

Well, I just noticed that the flyer shows a picture of the Defense 5, so I guess I did miss something, but I found it!

      • andrea

The Defense 5 is also on the B1G1 sale, but at $4.99 I think. There are also $2/2 q’s out there for any Right Guard.

  18. Shelly G.

Just wondered if anyone else was having problems getting the Kotex printable coupons??? I can’t find them on the coupons.com website anymore. 🙁

  19. Krystal

I work for walgreens well my last day is tomorrow but you know, and with the purex as far as I know our registers wont let us use the bogo and the dollar off.

  20. Magnolia

Does anyone know if the Free Benefiber Catalinas are still rolling… or was that last week only? I have 7 boxes (which I got between a few different nearby Wags stores…I never clear out a store’s entire supply!) but I could always use more— my kids drink this stuff constantly!

  21. Jen

Is the Kleenex monthly deal for February or March? Since one Q expires today, I am trying to find out if the deal will work today or if it starts March 1. Thanks!

    • Jill

There are more Kleenex coupons on coupons.com now.

  22. peever

Just to let you know, Walmart has the Neutrogena Clinical Kits for $35.97, which is still $5 cheaper than Walgreens without having to do the RR.

  23. Michelle

I bought the women’s Schick Quattro trimmer today expecting to do the MIR. Unfortunately the MIR is ONLY for the men’s “Titanium” version. I should have read the rebate form more closely. Still a nice razor for $1.99.

  24. CJ

Look for the bonus packs of One A Day Womens – 100 tablets plus a 30 ct bottle of Citracel and a $3 coupon inside – all for $6.99. It’s a square pink box with a breast cancer ribbon on the front.

  25. mary

I don’t see anywhere in the ad for the Buy $25, get $10 RR for the Zyrtec, Motrin, Tylenol deal. Am I missing it? Can someone give me a page number? Also for the Buy 2 get $5 RR Tylenol deal, you could buy Children’s Tylenol and use the $4/2 Randall’s coupon from booklet – $2 WAGS coloring book = $6 off which makes it $3.98 and you get back a $5 RR.

  26. Laura

YMMV, but I handed my cashier the BOGO Nivea lipcare Manu Q FIRST and it deducted 3.99 for the free lip-gloss, THEN I handed her the Wags In-Ad Q (to make the Nivea lipcare 99 cents) and it deducted $6 from my bill…. so, when done in that order, the Nivea Q’s could possibly deduct up to $9.99 from your bill (and no beeps for me!)…. Just make sure you have enough other items to cover the overage!
I ended up leaving Wags with Benefiber, the Reach toothbrush, 2 Nivea glosses, 4 Frappaccinos AND a formula 409 for $1.73!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!

    • Heather W

I did this also with the Nivea. I also used the BOGO coupon for the Reach toothbrushes and the $1 for the one I bought. I didn’t give the in ad coupons until last so it took 3.59 off for the nivea and 1.89 off for the toothbrushes. I also did the BOGO Purex with no problems!! Thanks Collin!

      • Heather W

I posted a picture of everything I got my total was 4.79 (2.44 of this is tax) and I got a $5 RR!! I love coupons! Thanks Collin!

    • Kate

My cashier called manager and they insisted they do the Walgreens Q first and than BOGO, so it cost 50 cents instead of overage 🙁 I did score 8 Purexs for free though 🙂

  27. Kris

    Best ever Walgreen’s trip… $5.18 OOP! Check out what I got. I saved $82.90!!!

    • Joelle

Aww. I only saved $33. Paid 2.99. Still happy.

quick newbie question… if I purchase multiple (but different) RR deals, I will get multiple RR printed for me after the purchase, right? Not just one?

    • Sarah

Yes, separate RR coupons will print out for each deal that you do.

  29. Boo Boo

Also, do they sometimes not let you use 2 of the same coupon even if you have 2 items?

  30. Nancy

I got the Purex deal – 2 for $4.50 with the bogo coupon. Then used another $1 off coupon and got the $1 RR. Yoo hoo! $1.25 each! I only did one deal. Didn’t want to press the issue. I have to say I’m having a hard time understanding why they let me use the add’l $1 coupon since I really only bought one but hey, it worked! Thanks Collin!

    • Melissa

The B1G1 Free coupon is used on your free purex. You still have another purex that you’re buying and the 1 dollar coupon comes off of that. Did I just confuse you more?

  31. Boo Boo

One more question… does anyone ever give you a hard time for using printed coupons?…

They gave me a hard time at CVS, the pharmacy manager was telling me they don’t accept printed coupons even though this coupon was a printable in-store coupon from the CVS website. This was a big coupon though, $25 gift card for a new prescription through them, she was being stingy, I read her the fine print and forced her to accept it.

    • Sarah

I’ve never had a problem using internet coupons at CVS. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience! And in response to your above question, you should be able to use one coupon for each item that you purchase, unless the coupon is for multiple items, ex. $1 off of 2 items. Hope that helps!

    • Erin

Wow. Never heard of any serious coupon problems with CVS. In my experience, they tend to be the best. Even though she eventually accepted the coupon, I’d still contact customer service. The next person who goes there might not be as persistent as you are! And CVS customer service are GREAT.

I went to the ThermaCare site, filled out the form and survey, then was told that I exceeded my print limit – but had not printed a single ThermaCare Q – ever! Phooey! 🙁

  33. Angela

I was able to use the Purex Bogo coupons and scored 4 free bottles of detergent! I had another coupon but didn’t want to be a hog so I gave it to my friend.

Also the kleenex deal didn’t print out a RR for me. Is it a Catalina? Can i call the company and ask for the RR?

I had a great trip though.
    I got
    8 boxes of Tissue
    4 boxes of Nyquil
    4 Cans of soup
    1 box of cereal
    1 Deoderant
    1 huge tub of oatmeal
and a 6 pack of TP

All for 5.40 OOP!! Plus 11$ in RR!!

Thanks Collin for all your help!

  34. Liz

does anyone know if there’s any hope getting WAGS to take an expired RR??? 3 days over

    • Angela

Liz it depends on your cashier. All the RR i used yesterday expired on the 26th. She didn’t even look at the date, and they don’t beep.

I can’t find the coupon for $1.00 off of Nabisco cookies in the 1/10 SS… Can anyone else?

  36. Katie Simenson

    FYI
Can’t buy the Women’s razor’s and use the rebate unless I am missing something.
    Katie

Schick Razor System (Intuition Plus or Women’s Quattro or Trim Style) $8.99 = $3RR
Use the $4/1 coupon from the 2/28 SS
    Final Cost $1.99!
**Submit the FREE after rebate form found in the 2/7 SS. This was a regional rebate, so not all areas received it. If you did receive it, you’ll be able to turn this into a nice little moneymaker!

UPDATE on this Accu-Chek Aviva deal:

OK I bought one today and boy o’ boy is this a hassle. IN order to get your Rebate, you have to fill out this “register card” whci then ask q’s like “person with diabetes”, “how long”, “how do you manage it”, “when were you diagnosed”, etc. And here is the fine print:

Rebate Terms: Allow 4-6 weeks for processing. Offer good only in US, PR, and for military personell with AFO/FPO addresses. OFfer may be claimed by the purchaser. LIMIT ONE REBATE PER OFFER, PER METER. and so on. Then it states: A COPY of your receipt must be included to receive your rebate. And this: Total of rebate amount not to exceed net purchase price (after coupons) of Care Kit plus tax.

Ok first of all, I dont personally have diabetes so to have to lie and fill out this thing bothered me. Then it does NOT state anything about being able to do this twice a year either. And then there is the thing about the “after coupons” part. Not sure if that means they also take out the coupon amt too or what?? Alot of headaches and worries to get this back. Good luck to all. I was going to do 2, but not now! Not sure if Im going to get back into the black on this one or not now.
I personally woulda never bought this if I knew all I do now. Cant return it opened (its sealed) so I had to do something with this big paper weight and its forms ya know?.

Will end up donating it for sure!.
