CVS: PowerBar Energy Gel Blasts Moneymaker!
This Hip2Save.com deal was hand-posted on Thursday, February 4th, 2010 at 9:06 am.

There’s an unadvertised CVS deal on PowerBar Energy Gel Blasts. They are priced at $1.50 and when you purchase one, you’ll get a $1.50 Extra Care Buck (limit 1)… essentially making them FREE! Even better, use the $1/1 coupon from the 1/3SS to turn this deal into a moneymaker!
**You can also request a FREE PowerBar Energy Gel Blasts sample here. I posted this previously, but just wanted to remind new readers that it’s still available!
(Thanks, TheCouponHigh!)

Last time I went to CVS for an “unadvertised deal” was when SoyJoy bars were supposed to be 5/$1. They had no idea what I was talking about and did not ring up as such. Don’t make a special trip just for this deal!
Katie says:
I am so mad that I got my sample pack in the mail yesterday 2/3/10 and the three coupons that came with them expired 1/31/2010, oh well!!!
JodiSue1 says:
Mine too! did you try them?
Robyn says:
Does anyone know what the offer limit is for this deal?
Robyn says:
Sorry – just re-read the post and saw that Collin already answered that! My apologies!
mary boquitas says:
I think limit is 3

I live in N. CA and didn’t receive these coupons in my inserts. I got a sample of these and it included three $1.00/1 coupons that unfortunately exp. 1/31/10.

I will definitely check these out. I have 2 $25 GC I can get with a RX fill and I have two Rx’s I need filled. So, This is a good way to accumulate ECB’s and use the GC and not pay anything oop!
Ringkang says:
i think my dad needs another refill too. does this gift card offer apply nationwide?
Nicki says:
I went to two CVS stores in Northwest Louisiana. The first did not have this deal but the second did. These are a nice freebie, thanks Collin!
Ringkang says:
This didn’t work for my brother last night when he went shopping at CVS for the powerbar. he bought 3, no ECBs.
Ringkang says:
maybe he got the wrong item.
Stacy says:
It only works on these particular items, as shown in the picture. Not on Power Bars.
tracy says:
They also sell them at Walmart for like $1 something. I got several for my hubby to be for work. He’s a corrections officer and they sometimes work long hours (overtime or if an inmate is missing) and he loved them. They work great and give you just the right amount of energy when you need it. I got 3 packs for under .75 cents at walmart.
sandy says:
I recommend contacting the manufacturer about receiving expired coupons via their web site. My guess is that they will replace them with current ones.
Lacey says:
I sent my husband to CVS today. He got the Powerbar pictured with no problem at all. It should ring $1.50 when scanned…so it is on sale as well. When your extra bucks are tallied at the end of your receipt, it will be called Nestle…just so you know. The limit is 1 b/c he bought 1 and my receipt does say “limit reached”.
Craig says:
Another reason it sucks to be in MI this week! No EBC deals! Uuugh.
Lacey says:
I heard about that. You guys will probably get the eb deals we are getting now in a week or two I bet. I hope they continue having good EB deals.
StenoJenni says:
Worked great for me today in Madison, WI on the Strawberry Banana variety. Thanks so much for this info! It was marked at 1.69 on the shelf, but rang up at 1.50 and I got the 1.50 EB.
Kevin says:
Worked for me in Cambridge, MA.
