How do you price match? Do you do it when you checkout? Is the regular cashier able to do it or do you have to go to customer service?

Thanks for all the advice…..I don’t know why I didn’t think of this, but my daughter and I on our search to find a news paper with P&G coupons went to Borders to see if maybe they had a paper with them inside it. I live in Dayton, Ohio (good tip if anyone lives in my area), and as I was flipping thru the Dayton newspaper I noticed the Columbus and Cinci paper sitting there. Both of those had the P&G coupon inserts, plus a USA today insert (kinda like the Parade) and in that was more Hasbro coupons. From now on I’m going outside the box and buying other papers, not just the local one.

I also have been to 2 Targets where the razors weren’t prompting for a gift card. The first actually decided to give me the $5.00 off my purchase right then and there, the other worked through it and was so nice!

The Target in Bend, OR dont let you use the game coupons for the card games. Grrrr
I told them to void the games and give back my coupons and that I’ll be shopping for those at walmart since they DO let me use them. =]

About the Quaker oatmeal deal – If anyone is near a ShopRite – they have the Instant Oatmeal boxes on sale this week for 1.99. I was able to get that price matched at my Target. Then used 2 $2/2 coupons from the new Acme wellness booklet and 1 $1/1 coupon from 2/7 RP. Paid 4.95 for 5 boxes and got back a $5 gift card!! Lovin’ the FREE oatmeal!!

I went to Target to use my coupons on the games. Be careful – in the game section they were priced $1.89 higher than an endcap that I found later. I bought the ones on the endcap and they rang up as the higher price. They had to send somebody back to the endcap and make sure that they were actually the lower price!!

I believe they are adveritsing this wrong. My signs at my store say it starts next week (2/14) also. However, my store is giving me the $5 off b/c the computer will not recognize it. I am not sure what teh problem is, but this will work next week.

Also the sale price of $6.99 is NOT ringing up.

I found Aveeno Moisturizer w/SPF on clearance at my Target (Indianapolis) for 4.88. It also had a free sample attached to it. I also knew that there were $2.00 cpn out that expire 2/10. That makes for a great deal!

I just talked to a Target rep about not getting my txt coupons. He said that Target is aware of it and its a global issue. (Global issue…that sounded funny to me :~)). Any way he said they’re working on resolving it but know one has any information yet. I got a reference number and will be calling back tomorrow to check in if I haven’t gotten my coupons txt.

I just got back from my Target near Detroit and their Venus Embrace Razor and their Olay Body Wash for the $5 Target gift card deal scenario doesn’t start until next week! But they had their signage out in front of the razors. Small print at the bottom of the sign says the sale starts Feb 14. Bummer!

I had not received my text coupons either but I just got a new phone so I signed up again and received a text stating I am already signed up. It said to reply HELP for any questions so I did and recieved a phone number to call. I called and was told they have been made aware of the problem within the last 30 minutes and they are looking into it. He said to call back later for more info. 877-839-6433

jen, SAME thing happened to me!! i was looking at all of the deals that collin posted before i looked at my paper and realized i had NO coupons not just the P & G. my newspaper office opens in 15 minutes so i will be calling.

Hopefully the newspaper office will help you out. If you have a KMART nearby, they sometimes keep the Sunday papers and sell them through the week until they run out, try donut shops, bars, restaurants, etc. Also there will be a P&G insert in the 2/21 newspaper that is going to have a mail in rebate form that if you purchase $50 in P&G products you can get a very nice coupon booklet by mail!

If anyone could give me a bit of advice, I would sure appreciate it! I have been waiting patiently for this weeks paper to come, I was so excited about the P & G coupons. After I picked up my 3 papers today and by the time I sat down to clip tonight…well early this morning, I realized there were no P & G coupons in my paper. So I checked the other 2, and there aren’t any in there either! I am planning on calling the paper in the morning as soon as they open for business, to see if maybe they weren’t sent out in my area, but I am really disappointed! I have called a number of places @ town to see if they had any leftover papers and I was told by all, that their remaining papers had already been picked up!!!!
What a let down…to top it off, I didn’t get my target txts either (like anyone else).
I am hoping that the newspaper office can help me, but does anyone know what else I could try so that I am able to get my hands on those darn coupons? Please and thank you!

I was going to put the same exact tip on here! I decided to flip through it & match up their coupons w/ my manu’s and there on the last page I saw it. My mouth just dropped open & I’m so excited about getting over there & scoring this sweet deal!!!
