It’s a shame…In my area, Butler, pa, we have very rude associates at our Walgreens. They will not allow me to use manufacturer coupons before store coupons, I get hassled every time I try to use coupons. There are never any of the sale items in stock and they will not give you a rain check on these items. Plus when I ask a question I feel like I’m bother them. I wish I had as much luck with Walgreens as the rest of you do. Oh well… can’t win them all! :0)

Hey I found Nice N easy Perfect 10 on clearance for 3.69–I used my $5 Q from this past weekend, first time, no problem. So I went back in the store to do it again–this time, it beeped, cashier said she couldn’t take it. Hmmm, am I wrong or in the right? I thought I was within reason. I could have used my $1 off, but once you get overage, and taste the victory…paying isn’t as sweet.

With these q’s and any other store q’s, you would want to hand them your manuf q’s first and then the store q’s – this way no beeps! Collin discusses this in her “Walgreens Tutorial”. It works every time. Unless you have a coupon nazi at your store – you shouldnt have a problem.

Thanks for the link to the q’s– didn’t see them at my store last night- BUT they had the individual q’s taped to the price sign of some of the products (to show that there was a q out there for them). I have some Huggies $1/1 wipes (mfr)– assuming I can stack these, anyone know the current price of the tubs of wipes? TIA!

i don’t organize my coupons by date or by ss, rp, etc. but i have three of the coupons and i know it had to be last weekend (1.31) or (2.7) paper.

I tried to stack them two weeks ago with the huggies and it beeped and the cashier was quite rude and said if i “read” the coupon i would see it was a manufaturer not a walgreens, that it doesn’t matter what it says at the top, they are special from the companies. this is only if it says manufactorur. the coupon booklets (the monthly one’s) most say manufactuer in the small print also. I just wanted people to know, so they wouldn’t be in shock like I was when trying to do stacking like posted on a lot of sites. Sometimes I have no problem at all, but this particular store in Concord, NC is very very picky. Since I had never really bothered to read the small print if it said “walgreens” at the top I just wanted others to know also. hopefully no one else will have problems like i have at this store.

If your store does not have copies (like mine) the great gal at Iheartwags.com has PDF versions. There are more than just these 2 pages, look to the right and you will find them by date.

Lately a lot of Walgreens store coupons have said “manufacturer coupon” on them, but they’re really not. Notice how all of the bar codes begin with all zero’s, and then the last 4 digits are other numbers? That means it’s a store coupon. The cashier only has to enter the last 4 digits to get it to work. If it were actually a “manufacturers coupon” it would begin with the same 5 digits as the UPC on the product you were buying, and it would also give the retailer the information on how to send in for reimbursement. I think Wags just does this to try to deter couponers!! >:-( If a cashier says they can’t be stacked, I would politely ask him/her to scan each coupon to see if it actually beeps indicating that it can’t be done, not just go off of what they say. HTH.

Kathleen has a very valid and important point! last time the sheet was 90% manu. Qs even though they had the “W coupon” across the top. Once you read the small print, it was sad to see that they were indeed manuf. Qs. Hoping that they aren’t!!!

Be careful, most of the time in small print on these fliers they say manufactur coupon. Two weeks ago i tried to use the huggies wipe one paired with a manufacturer coupon and was told there was no way I could use both since the flier was manufacturer. So it may depend on your walgreens if they will let you.
