    thanks again Collin

  2. mary

My B1G1 coupon expired 2/11/2010…can we get another one somewhere?

  3. thorninc

i just watched videos and printed the BOGO coupon – which doesn’t expire until 3/31/10 but his does say max retail value is $4.99… so this deal might be a little more expensive. still not a bad deal for 4 family size dinners!!

  4. Tiffany

What one did you watch to get the family size meal? I watched the onion video and got a bogo for a single serving meal-

  5. Beverly

I did this freezer deal yesterday. There are tons of products that are included. I was able to find a good coupon to pair with each item I purchased. Safeway has really had some great deals lately!!

    • Sheila

I’d love to hear what other deals you scored!

      • Beverly

There are SO many items included in the freezer deal. Just look for the little blue snowflake on the shelf price. There are just so many ways you could make this a great deal

One of my transactions was all toaster strudels
        2.27 each x 12 = 27,24
used 12- .35/1 coupons (my safeway -all coupons are $1.00)
total 15.24 and earned a 10 cat for next order
I view that as 5.24 oop!

        Next I purchased
2 bertolli 6.99 (used 2- $2 make it tonight coupons and 2-$1 mc)
        2 red baron pizza 2- $5.00 1/1 mc
        Krusteaz frozen pancakes $2.50 1/1mc
Sara Lee pound cake $3.99 1/1mc
        Total 25.47
        -$9 coupons
total 16.47 and earned a 10 ONYO cat

When I try to see if there is a Safeway near me, it brings up Genuardi’s locations. Are they the same??

    • Leah

Yes-some are still Genuardi’s-ours are now Safeway.

  7. Kim

im not getting any questions after i watch the video… any suggestions?

    • Kimi

Make sure you are signed in, and the questions should be just below the video, you can answer them as it’s playing.

  8. deenie

the coupons are all for single size not family size

  9. Amanda

FYI: I went to Randall’s yesterday to get the frozen food deal. I purchased $27.35 worth of participating products and the catalina for $10/Off $25 didn’t print. Rather than wait in the terribly long customer service line I decided to call the catalina company customer service. Turns out, that the SeaPak shrimp scampi is not getting sent to the catalina people at the correct price. Regular price for the shrimp is $8.99, it is on sale for $5.99, which is what I paid. BUT, catalina said they are getting the price for the shrimp as $2.99. This made my purchase ineligible for the $10/off $25 promotion. I am now having to wait for Safeway to approve it once the catalina people send over the request. *Crosses fingers

  10. Melinda

Yep, the coupon is for single serving meals. Too bad, this would have been a killer deal. πŸ™‚

  11. Carly

I just emailed Michael Angelo’s to see if I can get a bogo for family size….here’s hoping!

    • KATIE G

there are singel serve coupons and then if you follow the link that Collin previously posted about it takes you to the Family Table Videos where there are three questions below the video. Answer all three questions correctly and you get a BOGO (full size) coupon emailed immediately! I just did it two minutes ago and it worked!!

      • Amanda

Which video did you watch to get a full sized BOGO? I’ve watched 2 and so far have received the BOGO coupon for the single sized entree.

  12. Kathy

I watched two videos and both times I received the single serving BOGO coupons for 10-12oz meals. Max. amount is only $4.99. This would have been a great deal!

  13. Kimi

I hope this isn’t cheating…. but when they sent me the link (for single-serve entrees) I noticed that in the URL I could copy/paste, part of it said coupon-type-2. I pasted it into my browser and changed it to a 1, and it turned into the family size PDF. πŸ˜€ I did watch a few videos, so I am hoping they don’t mind!

    • Sheila

That worked great, thank you. I was spending sooo much time watching videos (which I really enjoyed btw!) Now off to Safeway!

    • Denise

      awesome tip!! thanks!!

    • Sara

Ah, I hate these ethical coupon dilemmas! Arg….to change the URL and print the coupon or not….

      • Michelle

Don’t do it! I agree that Kimi was really smart to figure that out, but if they wanted us to have “Type 1” I’m sure they would have emailed us that version.

Think about it this way… if another online coupon wasn’t a PDF and you could change the dollar value or the expiration date, would you do that? I’m guessing that most of us wouldn’t.

      • Jamie

Usually if it is something you have to think about, it’s probably not right. Be strong! πŸ™‚

        • Sara

Thanks for the support, guys. I’m convinced; I won’t print the family size one. =) Jamie you said it so well (“Usually if it is something you have to think about, it’s probably not right.”) – I will have to remember that when the next coupon ethics question comes up for me!

  14. Kathy

Wow!! How did you know to do that? Sweet!

  15. Carly

Worked for me too! Thanks Kimi, you are a genius!

  16. Shayna

I went to Safeway this morning all excited to get the family size, and my store only carries the individual size. Oh well!! There are some great frozen deals this week though! Thanks for the great tips.

  17. Bethany

I am curious what Collin thinks about changing the coupon URL.

  18. Joan

Thanks so much for posting the advice to get the full size coupon! I have 2 questions for you all:

    1) How long does this sale go on and is it advertised in the weekly ad that comes out on Wednesday?
    2) What entree do you like? I plan on stocking up big time.

    Thanks
    Joan

  19. Ann

I got 9 pouches of Yoplait Frozen Smoothies at $3 each = $27, four $1.25/1 coupons, five $1/1 coupons, four doubles ($2) = $15, and got a $10 catalina! Net price = .55 each. Never having tried this product, I was taking a chance, but YUM!! My son and I both LOVE THIS STUFF!!

  20. Amanda

My safeway did not carry the family sized dinners. I was pretty bummed because my coupon scenario was hinging on that. Oh well, I’m sure there are many other deals to be had…

  21. Eran

great deals to be had if your store still has stuff on the shelves πŸ™‚ Good time to stock up. I’d almost entirely stopped shopping at Safeway because of their service & Prices but wth these great deals I’ll go in for those!

  22. GG

I did everything right but got a single serve coupon.

I think when you first sign up you select what product you use. I clicked the single serve and always get single serve.

I went into my preferences and changed my product to family size, but I still got a single serve coupon.

Did you “family size” people originally select family size when you signed up?

  23. Karla

My Safeway wouldn’t honor the coupon at all. I hate how inconsistent they are with regards to coupons.
