  2. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Oscar Mayer coupons are gone…

  3. Sarah

No coupons for me either boo

  4. Natalie J. Vandenberghe

For future reference (since coupons aren’t available) will Walgreen’s accept a coupon for the item that is free?

    • Debby

I think all walgreens differ. My walgreens always takes both coupons and nothing ever beeps. I printed out the Oscar Myer coupons last night. I think the limit was reached very fast. So if you are lucky enough to have any of these coupons this is a great deal.

  5. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Too bad OM is giving us the shaft on more cupons.

  6. Sally Morris

No coupon was available. : (

  7. Debby

I wonder if there is a way Collin can text us if there is a new coupon out so I can run to my computer and print it right away. I missed out on the Suave 2.00 coupons last time because the print limit was reached so quickly. (hehehehe, just a thought)

If you follow her on twitter, you can have the blog posts sent to your phone as a text message. That’s how I get the info right away!

      • Debby

Wow what a great idea. Thanks so much!

      • Donna

Lisa or someone, will you please tell me the steps to get updates sent as text messages to my cell phone? I’d love to have that. Thanks in advance.

  8. Abby

  9. Boonie

I was able to get a Q for the bacon last nite but couln’t get 2 to print, but at least I did get 1 b4 they were gone…yea

  10. WendiBrooke

If you were able to get these coupons then there is also a coupon for $ 1 off eggs or produce when you buy 2 OM ready eat bacon. The coupon was/is on a OM display at Publix so would that mean free or very cheap eggs at Walgreens?!?!

  11. Lynne W

Collin: Thanks again for helping us bring home the bacon! Or lemonaid? lol…

  12. Sarah

This was not on sale at my Walgreens in Orlando today. I even had the cashier ring both of them up to make sure they were BOGO. Oh well, I hope some of you are able to score this great deal!

  14. Elizabeth

  15. Christy

The bacon is on sale in Indy & I was able to score a couple of packs after hitting up our 2nd Walgreen’s store. So worth it! 🙂 Thank you!

  16. Stefanie

There was a regular paper coupon for this in Sunday March 14’s Oregonian newspaper in Portland, fyi.

    • Amy

      Whereabouts?

  17. Anon

I snagged 4 of these – and I love them too because I hate cooking bacon. I didn’t know how these would ring up – sometimes their buy one get one will actually ring some $$ on both items – this time the free one rang up 0.00 so I was afraid that the second coupon would beep – but they didn’t. At my favorite Walgreens, if it doesn’t beep it’s good.

I did stop at another Wags today – I rarely shop there because its in a different state and has higher tax – she told me there was “a new policy that you have to hand over all your coupons all at once because other wise you could just keep going and going and going”. I have no idea what she was talking about. I did 2 transactions and used mrg coupons, and their weekly flyer coupons and the March book coupons. I did give the mfr first, then the wags and then RRs as I always do, but the way she worded things was strange. The items I bought would not have been affected in any way by the order I handed them to her. I told her I didn’t normally shop there and that I probably never would again if there was a problem with having too many coupons?? and she just said “OK”.

I am kind of bummed about my Wags trip I made tonight. I planned it out Sat night, got all my coupons, checked the wags deals post (thanks Collin!!) and was all set to go. I’m a fairly new couponer, too, so I think that’s why this got to me. The manager was checking me out at the cosmetics counter and on my second transaction, she wouldn’t let me use a RR because she said one of my other coupons (a pringles $1 off of four canisters) actually counted as four coupons, so I was over my coupon/item ratio. I was kind of taken aback because it didn’t sound right to me, so I just took the RR back and said I’ll use it on another purchase. I sat in my car trying to figure out if she was right or not. Finally I called customer service. I talked to a very nice gentleman and someone will be getting back to me in a few days to let me know. It was only $4 more in savings, but stil irriates me. We’ll see what happens in a few days, I guess!

    • Robyn

That manager was wrong!! You only used 1 coupon…it doesn’t matter how many items your purchase with that 1 coupon. It wasn’t your fault the coupon stated to buy ‘4 canisters.’ You did nothing wrong. I’ve had many, many problems with my local Walgreen’s using coupons and RR. They tell me (and this has been on more than one occasion) I can’t use a MF coupon and get a RR for an item. They said it’s double dipping and too much savings for me. Can you believe that! AND…these statements have come from the managers too. I wish I lived on the east coast…it doesn’t seem like they ever have any issues. Oh well. 🙂

      • Maria

I’ve had this same issue before. Basically, I think if you have a coupon for $1/2, then it attaches to both items because it looks to see if you purchased both. But, if you have a B1G1 free coupon, it only attaches to the item you’re trying to get free. That is why, when you have a B1G1 coupon let’s say purex, then you could use another $ off coupon for the item you aren’t getting for free.

  19. Lynne W

The Bacon coupon that I was able to print was $1.50/2 (only one printed) – I was able to purchase the two packages for $1.49 after the Q, so I am not complaining! Awesome deal for already cooked bacon! Thanks Collin!

  20. Samantha

Bacon was not BOGO in North MS just outside of Memphis, TN, either. =( I can’t imagine anyone paying 3.99 for 15 pieces of bacon. LOL!

  21. GG

Bacon not on sale in Phoenix, AZ

  22. Mrs. B

Our Walgreens in Pensacola does not have the bacon at BOGO 🙁

  23. Ana Maria

Yeah the bacon here in Asheville, NC not BOGO either but my kids love bacon so I still bought one package and used one $1.50/1 coupon. Used RR I got from my first transaction on the Sudafed & Colgate deals to pay for the bacon and kellogs cereals and planters trail mix & other awesome finds that I had rung up separate 🙂

  24. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

My Walgreens would not let me use both coupons on this transaction. I could only use one. I wonder why?

  25. Kathy

Just got in for Walgreens! No bacon on sale, so I did not get a good deal. I bought it anyway @ $3.99 each minus the $1.50 coupon. Manager couldn’t find the 2/$4 coupon on the Green Black candy bars, so he gave me one free and still took the coupons of $1 off each. They wouldn’t let me have the Visine because the coupon was more than the product….whoopie……2 cents! He wouldn’t adjust it either! I had him take it off! My Walgreens does NOT have the children’s Activity Book!! Manager says he would look into it, but I still lost $3 on the Huggies because of it. Darn! I still got some really great deals on everything else. Thanks, Collin! Your site rocks and I follow it faithfully!
