If you haven’t done so already, grab your video camera, grab your buddies, and grab your best money-saving tips & secrets for the first ever Hip2Save Video Contest!!
Remember that the videos will be judged on: Creativity, Mass Appeal to Hip2Save Readers, Originality & Entertainment Value!
Plus, the top 3 videos (chosen by me, of course!) will win an Apple iPod nano 8 GB (retail value $150) …AND will be featured on an upcoming Follow Me Monday segment!! Ya-Hoo!!!!!!! Even better, once all 3 videos have been chosen and viewed on upcoming Follow Me Monday videos, Hip2Save readers will vote on their favorite video. The grand prize winner will score a Apple MacBook Pro 13 Inch Laptop (on top of the Apple iPod nano)!
So put down whatever you’re doing, go film an awesome video, and then send it over to me! All videos must be completed by 11:59:59 ET pm on March 19, 2010 to be eligible for this contest. I too have a great idea but do not know how to do video editing so no video from me. My husband even brainstormed with me which NEVER happens.

I got my video all done and my husband was almost finished editing it when our computer went down! Luckily I hadn’t erased the video pieces from my camera yet so we are able to correct the problem. It was not cool! Looking forward to the other videos.

There are more videos out there, they are just set to private view. The one I submitted is set to private viewing only. Makes me wonder how many have been submitted.

how do you edit a video? How do you add captions to a video and stuff……….???
I didn’t know how to do anything fancy…….we just shot a video and uploaded it and that was it.

There are programs out there like Windows Movie Maker and others that allow you to edit add text and even music. Also, once your video is uploaded to YouTube you can add captions from there.

oh I didn’t realize you could add captions and edit right in youtube! I don’t any computer programs like the ones you mentioned. Ah…..well……..my video doesn’t have any technological fancy features at all……..just the ole’ fashioned human creativity I guess LOL.

Oh Yes, I agree with some of the others, can’t we see all the videos submitted? I am sure everyone worked hard to submit their video …..You can still pick YOUR top three…..

Oh, I don’t think I am going to make it! My kids are out of school this week for Spring Break and my husband just bought me a Wii Fit Plus so any extra time I have had I have devoted to that. But I am eagerly awaiting the others’ video’s however!
