Have You Joined Disney Movie Rewards Yet?!

As you may know, Disney Movie Rewards has relaunched their site! You can check it out here. Here’s a round-up of some rewards codes that will earn you quite a bit of points… in fact, if you enter all the below codes, you’ll score yourself a total of 435 points! Yay! Please keep in mind that if you have been a member for awhile, then you have most likely entered all the codes below. However, if you’re new to Disney Movie Rewards, then you should be able to enter every code below… hopefully!

Codes Available:
GOOFY = 50 points
LIGHT = 10 points
TINA = 20 points
GOBLOON = 30 points
GRAVEYARDS = 40 points
FM39V03SSW = 5 points
9FTMRYWEK = 50 points
DMR = 10 points
HEART = 10 points
I = 10 points

NEW UPDATE: Even more codes–

SUPERBARK = 15 points
JIMINY = 10 points
BUDDERBALL = 25 points
PAPERS = 50 points

(Thanks for these, Alexis!)

**Also, under “Earn more points” you can take a Disney Movie Rewards survey to score an additional 100 points!

Now you should have a total of 435 points— which will put you close to snagging this cute “The Princess and the Frog” over-sized reusable bag (pictured above)! This bag will cost a total of 475 points and it should be pretty easy to get up there just by entering the unique codes found on all those Disney movies we’ve purchased lately– Toy Story, Toy Story 2, The Princess and The Frog + more!

**If you haven’t joined Disney Movie Rewards yet, then I would highly suggest doing so now! This is a great rewards program… especially if you have kiddos that love Disney movies. Basically every time you purchase a Disney DVD or go see a Disney movie at the movie theater you earn points. Once you’ve earned enough points, you can then redeem them for a reward! They have lots of different rewards available from electronics to toys, DVDs and more!

(Thanks so much, Couponing to Disney!)

    Thanks! I’m gonna try this. Don’t buy many Disney movies anymore, but I like free stuff. We can only enter 10 codes a day, right?

  2. Lisa

    Thanks!

  3. Mary

    I had no idea that one could find codes that weren’t related to buying a movie. All of my codes were from DVDs we had purchased or received as gifts. Thank you! Just went from 1300 points to 1535 and will put in more tomorrow since it says you can only enter 10 a day! Now we are really going to be able to get something good for those points!

  4. Sara

    Wow, they changed the login page and all my points are gone.

    • Renee

      Same here I lost around 1900 points.

  5. Dana

    I followed Susan’s instructions (comment 44.1) and my account is just fine. Was able to log in and all my points are there. Thanks!!

  6. Nikki

    I wish that they had Blu rays available to redeem with your points. I wrote customer service about this, but didn’t really get any resolution.

  7. Anna

    What does one have to do when your account is blocked?

    • Krista

      I wish I knew! I have a ton of points and I tried these codes today and they blocked my account 🙁

    • Charity

      Same here. What do you do when they block out your account? I have over 5500 points. Very sad that I am blocked out of my account!! 🙁

  8. dawn

    thank you SO much! I have the Tiana doll, the DVD and now the tote!!! after the band aid rebate I will have only paid 2$ out of pocket!….the hard part is deciding which niece to give it too! I have a hard time waiting for birthdays or holidays!

  9. Melissa

    So I put in 10 codes yesterday & went to put some more in today but it is still telling me I can’t enter more than 10 codes a day?! Does anyone know if the 10 code limit is for a full 24 hour period vs. just the date?

    • kris

      Mine said the same thing so im thinking its in a 24 hr period not per day.

    • Tresa Beardslee

      Got the same thing! I guess I’ll try tonight!

  10. Tara

    Thanks, Collin! These freebie codes are great!

  11. Susan

    Anyone saying that they lost their points or that their login is not working….

    I’m a fan of DMR on Facebook (Kinda handy with all these issues going on) and they’ve been addressing it all day. Here’s what they had to say

    Disney Movie Rewards: Trouble logging into your Disney Movie Rewards account? Try using your Disney Online member name or the email address used when you created your Disney Movie Rewards account. If you are unsure what your Disney Online registration information is, use this link: https://register.go.com/global/disney/recoverMemberNames to recover all of your Disney Online member names.

    Someone who did this, had to add:
    When you log-in, and you see “0000″ for points, click the “These aren’t my points” link underneath. It will send you an email with a link to “manage” multiple accounts associated with your email address. Sign out of DMR, click the link in the email, make the other account (mine says “”) primary and re-log back into DMR using that username. Your points should be back.

  12. marina

    Thank you

  13. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    Is Disney Movie Rewards still have that promotion where you put in your vhs/dvd upc code to get a $10 coupon off for a combo pack?

  14. Heather W

    Anyone else have a problem with DMR, HEART and I? When I tried to enter them they said they aren’t live yet. I am just going to try them another time I was just wondering if anyone else got that message.

    Thanks SO much Collin!

  15. Ralph

    Thanks for the codes but their not working for me. I try putting a code in and I get a message (in red!) that the “code isn’t live yet.” I’m not sure what’s going on. Anyone else having the same problem?
    In any event here are two more codes for 100 points each:
    Pirates of the Caribbean DVD: 3HNWF99MWR7G
    UP DVD: RPD93GHGJ7J

    • Rachel

      I have that same problem….I had other points to enter but i would still like the ones on the website

    • Ryan Joann

      I am having the same problem and getting the same message.

    • Krista

      I did too and then they blocked my account and now it says I tried too many inactive codes and my account is gone!! I sent them an e-mail about it but have not heard anything back yet!!

  16. imelda

    I’m having the same problem
    i tried 3 or 4 codes and it block me

  17. Holly

    I tried several codes and am getting an error message saying, “Code BUDDERBALL isn’t live yet”. Is there something wrong on my end?

  18. Cydne

    I am getting the same “not live yet” message on the codes I enter.
    Anyone figure this out?

  19. JJ

    These codes are not going in for me. Also, I logged into the new site for Disney and all of my points are now gone too.

  20. JJ

    It seems that part of the reason my codes were missing was due to the fact that I had two accounts with same email and the wrong one was selected, If you click these are not my points they will send an email asking you to select which account to remain active. My points are now back.

  21. Camille Brown

    I also got the “not live Yet” and now my account is blocked.

    • Julie

      Me too! Will we be blocked forever?

      • Krista

        Mine too! I sent them an e-mail and have not heard anything back yet! I really hope it is not blocked forver! I have a lot of points in there from the last 3 years!

  22. Anna

    I keep getting the “not live Yet” too. Not sure if my account is blocked or not tho.

  23. Annmarie

    I entered 10 codes last night but every time I try to enter more codes today it keeps telling me I can only enter 10 codes per day. It is a different day though. Is anyone else having this issue and does anyone know what I am doing wrong? Thanks for your help.

    • Jill

      you have to wait a full 24 hours

      • Annmarie

        Thank you

  24. Rebecca

    I am also getting the message “not live yet” when entering these codes. Any ideas yet?

    • Rebecca

      What happens now if our account is blocked?

      • CJ

        I read somewhere else that the block would automatically be removed after 24 hrs, so hopefully that’s the case.

  25. erin

    same here, said not live then blocked my account 🙁

  26. Michelle Kill

    I didn’t even enter 10 codes and then I was blocked for trying to enter too many invalid codes-Can someone please advise?

  27. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    I am so happy that I got my points back…. thanks to Susan

      Unfortunately none of these worked for me. Now my account has been ‘blocked’ because I tried too many invalid codes 🙁

      • Julie S.

        My account has been blocked too.
        Does anyone know how to get it unblocked???????????????????

  28. Kasey

    I got an email from Disney Rewards today saying I could choose 1 of 5 blu ray discs because it is my birthday today. I just had to pay 2.95 for shipping! Another great reason to sign up for the program. I too, and having trouble logging in these extra codes. All say they are not live yet.

  29. Julie

    I am so sad. I plugged in some of these codes and they said they weren’t valid yet. Now I am blocked. Will I be blocked forever? Or just a day? I was really starting to rack up points since I have recently purchased some movies.

  30. Jennifer

    I think the Disney Reward People have just gotten super smart 🙂

  31. Natalie D.

    I have the same “not live yet” error message on all the codes that are words. The other number/letter codes work though. Do you think Disney got rid of all these codes because they were posted here? I’ve never been in the rewards program before so I have no idea if sharing codes is valid or not… hmmm.

    • Jennifer

      Something happened….Everything I entered is either this code is not live or this code has already been used….Like I said, they have wised up to what is going on….

  32. Jennifer

    Any code that I enter, even if I have never entered it before, it tells me that code has already been used….

  33. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    OK, now all the codes are coming back “Code is not Valid”… AND my account is now Blocked. I havent even gotten to input my TS1 and TS2 codes yet for the free ticket since my Daughter’s birthday isn’t until the 1st. I wrote them, hopefully I will hear back very soon!

  34. Laura

    Hey aren’t these codes given to you when you buy the Disney Merchandise only? I got 100 points for signing up, but when I plugged in the codes, it assumed I had purchase these things.

  35. Joy

    Not sure what happened to Collin’s other post on this but I will repeat basically what I said before.

    It was only a matter of time before they caught on. Some of these codes expired back in the fall and at Xmas time. These are codes people earned legit by following the rules to get them (i.e., ABC Family’s 25 Days Xmas countdown or through e-mail newsletter). These codes are NOT meant to be shared this way. You have to earn them! Sharing the codes just makes it too easy and too good to be true. Abusing codes is how good programs get spoiled and they get nixed or changed.

    This isn’t how Disney intended them to be used. Please read the terms of the program. At any time, Disney can ask for proof of how you earned these points.

    Obviously there was a glitch in the system and some people thought they struck gold. Now a lot of you have your accounts frozen. Always, always find out the facts before signing up for anything.

    No offense to Collin because I think she does a fantastic job and she wasn’t the only one … but a lot of the money saving bloggers jumped the gun on this one. Did anyone else predict this would happen? Because I sure did.

    • Jenny

      Thanks for your insight, Joy… I don’t know anything about how these codes came about so I didn’t know they were being “abused”, and I appreciate what you have to say. A kinder tone might be in order, though… an “I told you so” attitude isn’t the most helpful manner, IMO.

    • Erin

      Is this really any different than the various free photo gifts (that ultimately got cancelled), the Kmart coupon (which was pulled), or the rolling Dove register rewards (that has since been fixed)? People jump on deals too good to be true, and, yes, it often kills the deal. Maybe this isn’t how Disney intended the program to work, but I’ll bet that the manufacturers and companies whose products appear on this site don’t “intend” to facilitate the deals you see here every day, but I assume you take part in them or you wouldn’t be on this site. There are a lot of shades of gray in bargain hunting. I don’t understand why someone would get upset about the ethics of those taking part in this program but not the ethics of those who, for example, roll RRs to get forty bottles of Dove for free. Or who run out to take advantage of a CVS pricing glitch on wipes before corporate fixes it. Or who expect Target to give away Alphabet Pals and then get upset when they change their corporate price matching policy. I don’t disagree with you, but there are other, bigger ethical issues to think about.

      • Lemonzest

        Ditto Erin!!!!! Bordering on hoarding is not the ethical coupon way 🙂 All of us will lose in the end

    • Nicole S

      Well Joy, I see where you are coming from, HOWEVER… in my opinion, two things should have happened…. 1. We should have been given a warning. Looking in their Terms of Service now, I see where you are coming from and I agree this is not how they meant for the codes to be used. But this is in the fine print, and people like me who just joined didn’t really realize that.

      2. The points I earned by referring friends (20 of them to be exact), taking surveys and BUYING DISNEY MOVIES shouldn’t be made unavailable. It’s overkill to totally invalidate the account. I don’t even have access to the movie tickets I EARNED for puchasing Toy Story BluRays.

      • Joy

        I agree there are lots of shades of gray in bargain hunting. I was merely just trying to educate people about the terms of the DMR program. I didn’t mean to come across as a know it all. Just trying to help people know the real deal before more accounts got blocked. And I’m upset for all of you who lost points and had their accounts blocked. And, no, it’s not fair that people who earned the codes legit can’t use them either. But I think Disney is just overwhelmed and the only way they know how to deal with this is to suspend/block everything. I’m sure it will be cleared up in a week or so.

        And just for the record I don’t do RRs nor do I hoard stuff I got free with coupons (like 40 bottles of Dove or Aveeno). I buy what my family needs for a week or two by using coupons. If I get it free, great. If not, no biggie. I just want to save money, not hoard. I don’t have the space to stock up like that anyway. 😉 I also rarely shop at Walgreens and I don’t have a CVS near me. I also didn’t do the Alphabet Pal thing at Target because I didn’t need that toy.

        I also knew that Kmart coupon was too goo to be true. Why? Because I saw that it was geared for certain areas of the country on its Web site address even though the actual coupon didn’t say it.

        This wasn’t about ethics. It’s about people knowing how the program works. I just want people to be informed consumers. Bargain hunting is like a puzzle. You have to fit all the clues and fine print together to make it work successfully. 🙂

        • Lemonzest

          No worries Joy. I appreciate all that you posted. Thanks for the info and to you Collin for calling DMR!!!

  36. Crystal

    I tried some of the point codes on mine and all of them stated that they weren’t “live” yet. I don’t know what that means, but now my account has been BLOCKED!!!!

    As you may know, I’m pissed!

  37. nancym

    I just signed up for disney this mg ( mrach 31) and tried to put the codes in for ex. GOFFY , etc. and it says codes are not live yet?
    What does this mean?
    Thanks

    • Tresa Beardslee

      Read the other comments, everyone is having trouble!

  38. Julie

    They obviously put the kaibash on all of these bonus codes. I was able to enter the newsletter code which expires today but I can’t even enter the code DMR which was just released on Monday.

  39. Julie

    If anyone is wondering why you can’t enter codes, beside it going viral in the blogosphere, people are posting the codes on Disney Movie Rewards Facebook page and posting links to blogs. Disney Movie Rewards obviously deleted the links so I can’t find out what blog they were linked to but there are numerous references on the Facebook page to someone who posted the link. Codes are also posted in the Discussion section. I mean c’mon people (on facebook), what do you think is going to happen? It’s their own page that they monitor!

  40. Cassondra

    i really want one of the princess and the frogs reusable bags is there a way to get one other than the rewards or can someone get this for me because i dont want to use old codes since they are not working and it does not feel right my husband joined the rewards but all we have is 100 points so far by doing the survey please help me

    Cassondra

    • Dawn

      They sell them at the Disney Store for 2.50. I have an Alice in Wonderland One. They blocked my account too. Hopefully it’s only temporary. Couldn’t find a contact us link, so I can ask about a movie ticket they still have pending.

  41. Nicole S

    I am so pissed. My account is “blocked” and I had almost 1200 points! If I don’t get my points back, I will be sure not to tell anyone else about this program. That’s BS.

  42. Nicole S

    I just thought about this as well.. I bought the Toy Story 1 and 2 DVDs and was supposed to get the free Toy Story 3 tickets, but I hadn’t accessed them yet since my printer is out of ink. Now I can’t even log in to get my tickets! UGH! I emailed them, but even if I lose my points, I am going to be really really angry if I don’t get the tickets, since I did purchase what was required. Wouldn’t it be nice if they at least gave us a warning or something?
    Sounds like they just want to stiff people out of their points.

    • Julie S.

      Is there a code inside the movie that allows you to access the tickets?

  43. nona

    i was able to enter the first 10 codes two days ago, but yesterday it said “you can only enter 10 codes a day” when it had been more than 24 hours since i entered the first 10 codes and now again today when i tried it said, “this code is not valid yet” to every code i tried…even ones i put in two days ago!
    so frustrating!!!
    any ideas as to whats up?

  44. CHRISTINA-Utah

    IF YOU ENTER THE TOP CODES AND YOU HAVE USED SOME AND THE OTHERS ARE NOT IN USE WHICH MANY ARE YOU WILL HAVE YOUR ACCOUNT BLOCKED…JUST LIKE I JUST DID. THIS STINKS…HOW CAN I FIX IT. I E-MAILED DISNEY MOVIE REWARDS, BUT NOT SURE WHY THIS HAPPENED

  45. Cassondra

    I looked on the website and they no longer have the bags sold in the store online all they have is tinkerbell and the princess one not the princess and the frog one and the disney store in my mall closed down almost a year ago

    Cassondra

      Thank you Kien! All of your codes worked for me! None of Collin’s worked. Yeah!

  47. Nikki

    When i logged in to DMR all my points were gone! I added more points thinking that maybe it was a fluke and that might bring them back, i tried the manage my account thing and its not doing anything! did i mess it up by adding points when they were all erased? there is no option for me to relog in on the manage my account page only ” i no longer use this account” and “this is not my account” there are two accounts however, have i lost my points for good? any suggestions?

    • Lori

      you should contact Penny Costly on the DMR facebook page.
