So for April to get all of those items, she did 3 separate transactions, correct? Also, where are the rebates?

    Thanks!!

    • MoKeaton

I think the information on the Hasbro Rebates are where the games are, on pads, like a coupon pad you would find in the store. Pretty sure I read somewhere that someone had found them by the games.

      • Olivia Smith

Oh awesome!! I have to see if I can figure this out. My fiance is still amazed at all the great deals I am getting, so this is helpful to have birthday/christmas presents early!!

    • April

I actually did 5 separate transactions could’ve done 6 🙁 The Elefun will put you over the $20 with the free plush for some reason it counts as a game at the register. So it was 12.99 +9.99 Plush – 9.99 Plush – $5 Coupon – $3 Rebate – $5 Gift Card = -0.01! Same goes for Gator Golf. Hungry Hungry Hippos will cost you 99 cents since the coupon is only $4

      • A.D.

I think the $5 gift card promotion might be based on the original price of the games because on another post someone said they bought Sorry Sliders (originally $19.99) and got a $5 gift card. If that’s the case that would make all the scenarios a whole lot sweeter, I think I might try it out!

  2. Jaime S.

awesome! very inspiring too! thanks April for sharing

  3. MoKeaton

Good Job April! Thanks for sharing the info.

  4. CdninAK

I submitted for the Hasbro TRU rebates before Christmas… I wonder if I’m eligible to do it again (usually only one rebate per household). Does anyone know?

    • collin

This is a different rebate then the holiday rebate… so you can do it again! 🙂

      • Renee

Thanks so much I was wondering that too YEAH YEAH YEAH

  5. Jenna

    THANK YOU!

  6. Rana

I went yesterday, did 3 trans., and got 1 Sorry Sliders, 1 Bop-it, 2 operations, 2 twisters, and 1 Cootie game for $35.56 oop. I will get back $20 in rebates & I have a $5 GC. So it will be like $10.56 when all is said and done for 7 games! The only issue I am having is the rebate forms. They have my name on them! Who knew they did that when you use a CC?! I may not be able to get back all the rebate $$$.

    • Laurie

what do you mean the rebate forms have your name on them? I just got mine from a stack that was hanging near the shelves. Also, how will you get back more than one rebate for the same game??

      • Rana

Oops! I meant my receipts have my name on them. The rebates state “ONE rebate per game” and “One rebate per household”. Now I think it’s going to be hard to get the rebates with my name on all of them is what I meant.

  7. Megan

I saw something about this on another blog, people had commented about not getting the rebate yet from Christmas, anybody on here have the same problems!? I just want to make sure I will indeed get a rebate back!

    • Laurie

I got my rebate back a while ago from the games at Christmas time.

    • Julie

I have NOT received my rebate from the one around Christmas. I didn’t mail it off until close to the due date. I think it was the end of January.

    • Ehrin

I got the one back from Christmas time. I even called to check on it, and they assured me that their processing time is 10-12 weeks (which is longer than most, I think.)

    • Erin

I didn’t get mine, either, which is why I didn’t run out to get more games. Also, I wasn’t really sure if I could do another rebate. If I had gotten the other one, I’d feel a little better about doing this one, but I don’t want to do two and get neither!

      • paula

I got mine a couple of weeks ago

    • Lindsey

      I never got mine either.

    • Carole

I just got mine back 2-3 weeks ago and mailed it off the day I bought the games so I wouldn’t forget. I had just decided I wasn’t getting it when it showed up!

  8. kelly

can you use the $5 gift card to pay for the next transaction–and still get another $5 gc?

    • Jill

No, the card takes 6 hrs to activate.

      • Rana

Mine didn’t. They worked right away.

    • Tiffany

That is the same thing that the cashier told me…that it would take 6 hours to activate. I asked him to try it anyhow and he did and imagine that…it worked. Just goes to show, cashiers don’t always know what they are talking about.

  9. Kari

Okay…I have been having a problem lately with getting coupons.com to come up. It just keeps saying its loading and when its done, the page is blank. Anyone know how to fix this? It started doing this a couple of weeks ago.

    • Sophie

Is it on Red Plum? If it is I have the same problem and end up switching browsers and it will work.

      • Kari

It’s doing it on Coupons.com and Redplum

        • Olivia Smith

I am having the same intermittent issue in FF– it works sometimes and then other times it won’t. I usually switch to IE and it opens fine! 🙂

  10. Tara

So if we do scenario #2 and buy the 3 games in 1 transaction.. can we use photocopies of the receipt to get the 3 different rebates? Or do we send them all in together?
    Thanks!

    • Lindsey

      you send them together.

  11. Jaime S.

anyone know a good deal on huggies? (besides Target deal)… I have those $3 off coupons I need to use before Saturday! thanks!!

    • Emily

If you have a Safeway near you there is a $3/1 ecoupon that you can stack with your manuf. q and use a $.50 doubler to get $6.50 off a package! 🙂

      Hope you’re close to one!

      • Jenn P

I have a Safeway near me and would love to do this deal. What $3 coupon can you stack with the ones printed online? And what is the $.50 doubler? Sorry, I am still kind of new to all this?

    • Joe Money

CVS is having ECB deal on Huggies this week. I think Collin listed on the CVS deal.
      Buy 2 Huggies(jumbo pack) for $17.98 – 2/$3 coupon= pay $11.98 and get back $5 ECB.

    • Julie

Do you have Publix nearby? I’ve seen some on clearance for $8.99. They take competitor coupons. You can get $2/1 jumbo packs from the Rite Aid ad perks. Pair that with the manu. one. You can also use one of the various $3/15 or $5/$20 or $5/$25 Rite Aid coupons that are always floating around to make it even better.

      • Jaime S.

thank you everyone! No publix or safeway near by but CVS sounds good! Heading there today! thanks again!

  12. Emily

I am also interested in finding out more info about the rebates. Can you really submit 7 rebates? It might not be worth it if you don’t get all the rebate money.

Also, is the $5 gc rolling? Can you use it to pay for the second transaction and still get another one back?

    • Jenna

no the GC won’t roll, it takes 6 hours to activate

    • Tiffany

The gift card IS ROLLING!!! I just came from TRU and did 6 transactions…ROLL ROLL ROLL!

  13. dawn

do you have to purchase the games at TUR to get the rebate? or can i use my Target receipts for the games i bought last week?

    • MoKeaton

Pretty sure someone commented the other day that they have to be purchased at TRU to get the rebate.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The rebate form specifically states the receipt/transactions have to be from TRU.

  14. Janel Case

I went and got some of these deals on Monday also. Couple of warnings — Trouble coupon is for R2D2 Trouble which doesn’t qualify with the sale/rebate. The battleship (at least at my store) is NOT the original looking one so be very careful – it likely will NOT qualify for the rebate as the rebate specifically says it has to match the picture.

  15. Janel Case

Dawn — Rebate is specifically for TRU

  16. lisa

just be careful to use the gift card before it expires, i did this is december and didn’t realize the card had an expiration. headed to TRU now, thanks! am planning to do a gator golf 12.99 + a twister 8.99 + free plush, will be less than $2 after card and rebate!

  17. Connie

Any one that has the rebate forms, Can we use photocopies of the receipt to get the 3 different rebates?

    • Rana

It states no photocopies on the rebate form.

    • Carolyn

Oops! Guess i was too slow 🙂

  18. Pamela

My ToysRUs says they only take ONE coupon per transaction!

    • Pamela

I am not sure where this person shopped (which Toys R Us ) b/c I just called Toys R Us (the 800 number) and they once again stated that you can ONLY USE ONE COUPON per TRANSACTION! That means some of her scenerios WON’T WORK……I don’t want others to get their hopes up and then go and NOT BE ABLE TO GET THESE DEALS……Just a heads up.

      • Ann

Hi Pamela – i went yesterday and was able to do 2 transactions, using 2 mfg coupons per transactions and had no problems. They also let me roll the $5 GC.

The MFG coupon I had for Trouble was specifically for R2D2 Trouble which is not part of the sale or the rebate.

    • Laurie

Weird. I just got back and used two coupons per transaction – did three transactions and got 6 games and 3 plush animals that, after rebates and gift cards, will be less than $2/piece.

  19. Meredith P.

I went yesterday, and bought Operation, Battleship, and Twister. I was able to use 3 mfg coupons all in one transaction. After using the coupons, getting the GC, and the rebate, cost per game is .82!

  20. Lynn M

Ok guys…I just called my toys r-us (VA Beach) and said WE can’t not use internet coupons!!!

    • Laurie

can’t use internet coupons? I just used a few of them. I think it’s wild how each store comes up with their own policies…

      • Laurie

BTW, I’m in Media, PA and had NO problems at all!

        • Olivia Smith

I am about 30 minutes from Media– I am in West Chester!! I had issues last week with the Princess and the Frog DVDS and Baby Einstein DVDS– I wasn’t allowed to use coupons for anything since it cannot be combined with any offer. However, I went to BRU and had no problem!!

    • Jennifer

Lynn, I went to the one on Lynnhaven in Va Beach to get the Toy Story deal and I was able to use internet coupons. The cashier did check with the manager to make sure they could take them and the manager said that it was ok as long as the coupons came from a well known site like coupons.com. I used 2 coupons for 1 transaction.

      • love+shop

i was weary about using any coupons at toys r us… but i’m glad the store on lynnhaven parkway is coupon friendly! i was gonna hit that one tomorrow and try for the deal (although i’m using the coupons from the smart source insert, not the internet). hopefully they won’t give me any problems…

  21. Cheri

I do think it’s crazy listening to the prior posts. How we are all essentially going to the same store, but each individual toys r us comes up with their own policies. How some can’t even use a printable coupon and others walk out with a cart load of stuff next to nothing. I am one of those people who did have good luck today. I am sorry for you guys, who the stores did not take your coupon.

    • Kathleen

I feel the same way. Last week, our TRU in Springfield, MO would not allow us to use 2 MQs for the Princess and the Frog BOGO deal. I asked my husband to go after work today for this game deal (he works close by) and felt nervous sending him since it seems to be hit and miss with them. He was able to use 3 MQs for 3 games so guess we got lucky (this time).

  22. Lauren

Wow! I thought about getting some games the other day, glad I held off 😉

The plush is a promotion in store?

Also, can someone tell me if the gift cards pop up like Target? Or how do they do them so they know you get them?
    Thanks!

    • Danielle

My store didn’t even have the plush animals at all they never got any… The gift card promo will show up on their screen so you don’t have to tell them!!

  23. Lauren

Oh, thought of one more question 😀 Can you use more than one of these in a transaction? I want to buy something for my daughter for summer, so if I can’t ‘roll’ thes, I’d lie to use them in one transaction later… sometimes they have weird stipulations 🙂

  24. Heather Pettis

You can submit for all three rebates- the form linked above specifically states “Any of the participating games shown on the other side of this certificate at a Toys R US store. LIMIT ONE REBATE per GAME per HOUSEHOLD and LIMIT ONE REBATE CHECK
issued per family, household or address.” It also says rebate limited to $56. You just have to submit all at once so that one check is requested.

  25. Kristy

Is the gift card good on anything or do you have to use it on other games since it is not a toy r us gift card and a Hasbro one,.

  26. CHRISTINA-Utah

FYI…THE REBATES FROM HASBRO LIMITED TO ONE PER HOUSEHOLD, PER PERSON, PER ADDRESS…I RAN INTO THIS SAME ISSUE AT CHRISTMAS WHEN I BOUGHT FIVE GAMES THINKING I WAS GETTING THEM FOR 1.99 EACH. ONLY WAS 1.99 WITH THE REBATE THE REST DID NOT QUALIFY FOR A REBATE…ALWAYS READ THE REBATE TERMS BEFORE YOU BUY…SAME GOES WITH ANY REBATE OFFERED THERE ARE ALWAYS LIMITS ON REBATES. IT’S ALL IN THE FINE PRINT

    • Chantel

It says LIMIT ONE REBATE per GAME per HOUSEHOLD pretty boldly. As long as they were not the same game, you will get them all back. But only one per game.

  27. Laura

My shopping cart was full and when I went to check out they told me it is company policy that they do not take INTERNET COUPONS!!! So frustrating!!!!

    • Leah

SUCH a SAD lie- the internet coupons scan, so obviously they take them. I did ask the cashier to scan them and the manager said if they worked, she’d take them…and they did! Also, you spend the $20 before the sale price and the $5 g.c. comes up!!! I bought 2 games last night ($10 total), but original price was $23- and a g.c. popped up!! I was so shocked (but happy)!! 🙂

  28. Amy

the rebate for this offer states: “Total potential rebate limited to $56, see terms and conditions on back.” So, as long as you buy one of each item pictured you should receive a rebate for each single item!

  29. kristen

I had a good day and Birthday shopping is done for us!
I did 5 transactions used 15 coupons and got 5 giftcards back
They were patient with me and once I expained how I thought the coupons should be applied, they worked just fine 🙂

  30. Tiffany

I just came back from Toys R Us and I was shopping with a friend. I am always careful to cashier shop and out of 2 options, I chose a young blond girl who looked happy. My friend went to the next lane over, older male. Y’all know how that goes. My My Little Pony went through without a hitch however hers were a no go. 2 customers in the store at the same time and they accepted my coupons and not hers. Just goes to show how inconsistent some stores can be.

  31. Carrie

I want to get a lot of the Operation game, 15 to be exact. Can I do 5 transactions w/ 3 games on each transaction w/ 3 different $5 off manf. coupons (and possibly the $5 TRU gc on the 2nd-5th transaction) or are they going to give me trouble b/c I am using more than one Manf. Coupon on each transaction?! HELP!

  32. kim

Are they giving the $5 gift card on the Elefun games even though they aren’t “board games”? t.i.a.

  33. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

@Kim I did a transaction today with Elefun, Gator Golf, and Hippos and got the $5 card.

  34. Lauren

Anyone tried using multiple of this type of GC online? Thanks 😀

  35. Wyndee

They ran out of rebate forms at my TRU. None of the employees knew what to do. How do I get the rebate forms? HELP?

  36. Tilla

so so so sad:( my printer has been on the snicklefritz for awhile and I was printing selectively…I was on my way home today from my walgreens shampoo deals and thought to myself “i’m finally going to print out hasbro coupons and head over to TRU for easter/bday gifts”. I get home, printer fine, and BLAH the coupons are no longer available. sad so so sad:(

  37. Andi

Thank you so much!!! I went to TRU this evening and got 15 games and 3 stuffed animals for a total of $32.58 after coupons, gc’s and rebates! So excited! My daughter is hooked up on board games for many years (she’s only 2!) and I may decide to gift some too! They let me do 5 different transactions! 🙂

  38. lindsey

I can’t find the 5$ coupons for the elefun or gator golf games. Can somebody help me please?

    • Rebecca

I have already purchased what I am going to buy and still have a set. Send me your email address and I will scan a copy of those to you. rlm_ok@hotmail.com

      • Wendi Sisson

You cannot scan the coupons. That is just like photocopying them. Because one they are scanned they can be reproduced. I know you are just trying to help but it is coupon fraud so please don’t do it. Not to mention ther person you are sending them to will get called for copied coupons if the cashier is alert. The safety features that keep them from being copied apply to scanning too.

  39. lalluji

still didnt get the rebate from christmas time. How can i contact them?

  40. Tami H.

I have been looking for the $5/1 coupon for the Operation game (and all other such board game coupons) on Play-saver for the last day and they don’t come up. I called customer service and she said they have been working on resetting them. Has anyone else had success accessing them? Thanks in advance.

  41. Tammy

All the board game coupons are gone it looks like!

  42. Rebecca

Woo Hoo, few to keep, few to give and a few to donate. This was a great shopping trip and so much fun, here was my score:

Games Purchased: 14 (+ 6 free plushes and 10 free my little ponies)
    OOP: $104.26
    Gift cards: +$45
    Rebates: +$41
Total Cost: $18.26 (WOW, unbelievable since $15.29 of this was taxes!!!)

My disclaimer, don’t want to ruffle any feathers – I would not have purchase that many MLP had the shelves not been way overstocked and it was the 7:30pm that evening.
THANK YOU SO MUCH COLLIN!!! My family and those around us truly appreciate all you hard work!
