Magnolia says:
I don’t know if this has been covered in another Wags post, but the Airwick iMotion Compacts are only 3.99 this week, and there are a ton of $4/1 Qs in some recent inserts which make them FREE! (the cashier has to adjust them down, which mine had no problem doing)
Melissa S. says:
The bumble bee tuna campaign is over. I never got to print my coupons either
I tried on my computer and it froze. Then I tried on my husbands computer and it said it’s already been printed. Then I just tried, and said campaign is over. Boo, but I do appreciate all you do Collin! I’ve only been couponing for a couple of weeks, and I’ve already saved SO.MUCH money!
Steph says:
There were some peelies on the cans at walgreens…same deal $1 off 5.
Victoria says:
I just printed the 1/5 from this link. It worked for me.
barbara says:
Thanks for the heads up on the 4 day sale. The Just For Men coupon I was offered is for shampoo-in Haircolor, not shampoo & conditioner
Wendi Nickel says:
Me too, they offered hair color and didn’t get the shampoo/conditioner
fifster33 says:
WEIRD. Mine offers the 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner. Fairview, Oregon & Vancouver, WA
Ann says:
Don’t forget the Scrubbing Bubbles deal!
The Extend a Clean 25 oz. is on sale for $7.99 with a $2 RR printing.
There is a $5 printable here:
http://www.rightathome.com/offers/2010-03-electron-bfpfe/
It makes this $0.99!!!!
fifster33 says:
My wags didn’t stock this item. Bummer. Fairview, OR
Bethany says:
My Walgreens had some of our Neutragena SunCare on clearance, some were only $4.99, some were 5.99. I used the BOGO 50% off sale and the $3 coupon from All You. Not sure if all walgreens has this marked down but check it out! We’re going to Florida in a few weeks and going to need that sunscreen!
Stephanie Bietz says:
When I went to my Walgreen’s today, the cashier told me I couldn’t use more than one of the same coupon. Is this correct? I have never had anyone say anything to me about using more than one of the same coupon. She did take it after I said I would go elsewhere. My total should have been $.99(2 $3off2 Dove and $5 Scrubbing Bubbles and $10RR), but she made me purchase something else in order for me to use my RR. Is there a total minimum in order to use the RR? The last part is not a big deal, since my total ended up being $6.83(with tax), after I grabbed a Dove conditioner, and I got $8 in RR back. Thanks!
Lynn says:
If all your items use a coupon you can’t use a rw because it’s considered an open item mfg coupon. So yo have to buy something cheap like Gum or a Candy bar or a small .39 cent piece of candy.
Stephanie Bietz says:
I thought about that, but I had 5 products and 4 coupons. The only thing I could think of was that the Dove coupons were applied to each of the 4 deodorants.
Jen_A says:
The cashier at my Walgreen’s explained it just like that a couple of weeks ago, Stephanie.
fifster33 says:
yes, recently some stores we’re finding out that the coupons are attaching to 2 products if its a coupons for 2 products. (ie. $3 off 2 = attaches to 2 products) so you would need that filler item in order to use the RR. I found some $0.25 jaw breakers at my wags, great filler item and great easter basket item too!
Lynn says:
I didn’t get this ad in my email for a preview like I normally get ads – I’m worried it’s not in my market (Detroit) – and there are so many opportunities.
Cindy says:
Me too….we never seem to get the extra 4-day ads here in the Denver area. Anyone know for sure?
Lynn says:
Yea that’s probably the reason Stephanie, cause if your required to buy two items to use the coupon it’s likely applied toward both items. I usually buy gum and I keep those buy one get one candy coupons handy for getting up to a specific dollar amount so I can use the $5 off $25 coupons etc… By the way everyone – the CVS coupon center / price checker has been spitting out $5 off $25 coupoins lately so be sure to scan your easy care card.
LoriS says:
There is also a rebate on the Just for men products at this link http://www.justformen.com/pdf/tryfree.pdf
fifster33 says:
FYI, this rebate is just for the haircolor. some states the ad deal is for the 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner.
jeanMichelle says:
DVE is NO Longer Rolling as of 3/30/2010
katie says:
I rolled it today.
Red says:
I tried this morning and it wouldn’t roll
esther says:
the just for men shampoo is different than the just for men shampoo in color…the rebate and the $2 coupon is for the wrong product.
Niki says:
can someon help me out? yesterday I bought 1 dove shampoo at $4(used $2 coupon) and Denteck floss at $2 (used $1 coupon) OOP is $3 get back RR $4 + $2.
Today, my second trip I bought 1 Dove shampoo at $4 (used $2 coupon), 1 Dulcolax at $10 (used $4 coupon), 1 Scrubbing Bubbles at $7.99 (used $5 coupon). Total is $10.99 (after coupons) get back RR $4+$10+$2. I tried to use my old RR $6 above and it beep. The cashier told me I can’t use it and had no logic answer to explain. I didn’t want to make a big deal cause as you know I got those stuff free after RR. But my question is what was wrong? Should I handed RR before coupon? I was just trying to get rid of old RR to minimize my OOP.
Felicia says:
A register reward is considered a manufacturer coupon. Walgreens policy is that you have as many items as coupons. Since you had a coupon for each item that you bought, you needed an extra item (something cheap, a “filler”) to use the RR, which is also considered a coupon. That is why. Items = coupons + RR.
Hope that helps.
Felicia says:
Meant to say
number of items must = number of coupons + number of RR
Niki says:
Oh. I understand now. Thank you so much.
Amy says:
I bought Dove shampoo this morning and RR did not print at all.
Izzy says:
Me too. I bought one and it printed and on another transaction it didn’t. weird. Shampoo worked, conditioner didn’t. I was in a hurry and didn’t realize till I got home. Used RR’s but not the dove one.
nora says:
the Dove RR was rolling untill today , now it’s not. I’m in Utah, hope that helps anyone here.
Lisa says:
the Ben and Jerry’s ice cream and the Hawaiian Tropic items were not on sale at my store in CT. Of course they were the two items I went to get. I have never found these posts to be incorrect before. Did anyone else have this problem?
Erika says:
The Hawaiian Tropic was not marked down to $9.99 at my store (I’m in KY) but it did ring up 25% off the original price and did print the RR’s as stated. It was still a good deal but not quite as good as Colin’s ad.
fifster33 says:
I sometimes find that the stores don’t put up their signs, so sometimes a deal is valid, but not posted in the store. I try it anyways, because I have the time to return it afterwards if they don’t print.
Lisa says:
OOOPPS!! Boy do I feel stupid….I just realized the sale didn’t start until tomorrow. Never mind my prior post.
Mom2taytay says:
I was able to print as many Coppertone Coupons as I wanted, no limit!
Lynette says:
Where can I find the Hawaiian Tropic Sunscreen coupon? The link appears to be missing from the post. THanks!
Shellie says:
My Walgreens has $2/1 Hawaiian Tropic coupons next to the display. It is a little 4 x 6 booklet about Hawaiian Tropic with coupon on back. I’m in SoCal
Gordana Bradley says:
So did my store in AZ
A.D says:
I had a nasty experience at Walgreens today. I tried to buy the M&Ms using the $1/3 Mfr coupon and the $1/2 Wags coupon from the April coupon booklet. It beeped and they refused to override it – they said they can’t. I showed the manager the way they advertise:.
On page 15 of this week’s ad (3/28-4/3) for Bic razors. It says $3.99 “after instant coupon in store” (which is from the April coupon booklet) and then it says “Coupon savings in most Sunday papers!”.
To me that is pretty clear. I called corporate and they said “some stores don’t have the store coupon booklet, but they can still use the coupon from the Sunday paper, so that is why it advertised that way and regardless every store manager can make their own policy.”
What??? I plan on using up the rest the rest of my RR on greeting cards and then boycotting Walgreens until they have a formal coupon policy.
supersaversarah says:
The $1/1 coupon for Crest listed above is not the correct one, unfortunately. The Crest that’s on sale isn’t one of the premium ones.
Gail says:
I went to Walgreens last night and the Air Wick and Lysol spray rang up for $6.49 and $7.49. And the manager that checked said the sale is 50% off the full price so the advertised price is what we have to pay. Then I ran two separate transactions and she told me I couldn’t use my register rewards because they ring up as a manufacturers coupon. I didn’t know this and I had already applied a coupon for each item. So I returned everything, frustrated at this point, and I don’t intend on shopping there unless there aren’t any RR involved in the deal.
Niki says:
Look at my question above. Felicia help answer that RR is treated as Mfr coupon. WG has policy that total of mfr coupons cannot exceed total qty of product you buy. For example if you buy 2 items and used 2 mfr coupons, you can no longer use the RR on top of it. You need to get something else 2 more (anything you like, get the cheap one) then RR will work.
Hope that help.
Jamie says:
I was told by a manager at my store that they will be doing away with RR!!! Has anyone heard this? The plan is to go to a loyal shopper card and you can earn points in the store based off your purchases.
I’m in Vancouver, WA.
Jana says:
Yes, they are “testing” it in several markets, looks like your store might be one of them.
fifster33 says:
oh no!!! I hope not, I love the RR’s! I’m in Vancouver, WA too!!!
Hi fellow Vancouver shopper, so you’re the one trying to beat to the Wags stores! lol.
Jamie says:
bummer!
Hello to you too! Have you heard about this change? I wonder if it is the entire area or just a few stores. I’ll keep my fingers crossed!
Rachel says:
Wanted to share a RR that I got today that I did not know was printing that I got today. I purchased 4 Velveeta mac & cheese cups for $1 each, and got $1.50RR back. This was a nice surprise. I also had 2 B1G1 coupons from smartsource, so my total after RR was $0.50 for 4. What a nice surprise.
sara says:
I just wanted to tell you thank you so much for providing this website for families like mine. It is so wonderful to be able to save so much money. I have four small kids and I am going to college full time and trust me every little penny saved counts. Thanks once again.
Lou says:
I just went to the store on Overland/Orchard in Boise ID and they no longer take internet coupons unless they are in color.. They are getting copies and not getting reinbursed for them.. Why do people have to cheat the system and be so greedy????? It only takes one or two and its ruined for the rest of us.. This is so frustrating…. I don’t blame walgreens but I won’t be shopping there much either.. no color printer for me.. uuuugggghhhhh
Craig says:
Wow I was shocked today (friday night) my store still had a TON of Dove avail. I was able to get some of this weeks (got em sunday) RR rolled out till further due to this and a Coke deal. The 5 12pks for like $13. Love coke and this really helps you burn RR since there is 5 pks/items. Got some Heaths for .39c using the Hersey Wg-In-Ad q. for fillers and then did another Dove deal to make another $1.50!
Was feeling so good and got some great deals/RRs and the cashier was really cool and was asking about how I was getting the Dove for free plus!, that I made friends with the enemy (WG cashiers at times LOL!!!), and gave her one of these Dove qs so she could get it for FREE and a MM. What was I thinking? LOL. Gotta spread the love when ya get such great deals!! Will be giving the other Dove (2) items to my sis!!
Jennifer says:
Just remember that if you want to do multiple transaction in a row, that the customer behind you doesn’t have the time to wait for you because they don’t care about saving a dime. Go to Cosmetics (preferable) or Photo so you can spend as much time as you need. Many of the cashiers are in the loop on how the coupons will work on the register, make friends with them. Remember that if you are using a MFG coupon give that to the cashier FIRST then use the Walgreens in-store coupons second that is the trick for some of you that are having trouble figuring out why a coupon is not working. WE DO Know the tricks
!!!
Gordana Bradley says:
The display of Hawaian Tropic’s at my Walgreens had a small booklet with a $2 off coupon! I opted for the 10.8oz with 33% free and got it for 8.99 after 25% minus $2 makes it 6.99 for a big bottle. Hope you find the deal too!
Robyn says:
Went to Walgreens today and they do not have an in store coupon for the Campbell’s soups. They said it had expired.
