I just have to say, I have never been a big fan of Target, but after seeing ALL these deals I thought I would take a stab at it. I got all my coupons together, went and got the specials. Then got to check out. WHAT A NIGHTMARE!! just about EVERYTHING rang up as I had not purchased and I had to pull each item back out to show her. (It wasn’t like I got 40 items and you could forget what you just rung up) I was very polite, and told them that I never shop there and asked if this is what happens everytime with coupons. The lady told me that it has been doing that for about a month or two and that it was really a pain. I told her it was not her fault. BUT as for me and my time, I will stay at my Publix, CVS & Walgreens that is only 3 miles from home. Target took WAY toomuch time and I feel I get better deals at the other stores. I then went to Walgreens, spent $2.45 on 4 Purex Detergent, 1 Nivea Lip and 1 Mentos gum SAVED $27.00!!!! and Quick checkout!! :-)

I feel your pain! I stick to CVS,Wags, and Kroger mostly. This past Sunday I went to Target to score the games Collin had previously posted. I went to the toys section. The games had limited stock. I then went searching for more stock. I went to the luggage section and had no luck. Then I went back to the toy section and looked at all the endcaps and sidewings. I found them! I then went to the checkout. I bought my little ponies and several of the card games. The cashier didn’t scan all my coupons. I went to the customer service desk and explained the situation. I then had to go back to the cashier and get my coupons to prove how many I had. Then I had to show the customer service representative the items I purchased were the correct items listed on the coupon. Then the manager on duty was be called. He told me that I wasn’t using the coupons correctly. He said “limit one coupon per purchase”. He acted like he was doing me a favor for allowing me to use the coupons. I explained to him that the wording on the coupon meant that I could not use two coupons on one item, not one coupon per transaction/person. He then said that it was in the Target coupon policy. After spending a total of 25 minutes at the desk I finally got the coupon shortage refunded. I came home and pulled up Targets coupon policy. It says nothing of the sort. It’s so frustrating shopping there. They made me feel like I’m doing something illegal when I use coupons.

I KNOWWWWWWWW!!! I had the coupon for the Johnson Baby shampoo travel. At my Target it was .97 and she said since the coupon was $1, it would not work. I came home and looked it up too and it looks like it should have taken it and just given me at least just the amount of the item. We do not have a Kroger anymore but I do LOVE Publix!!! I have just started looking into going back to Rite Aid on occasion but who has time to stand around talking to the service manager for 25 minutes. I could have been at home cutting more coupons to use somewhere that would actually not hassle LOL

Last night my husband and I shopped at Target and it was great. However once we got to the check out it all went down hill. I always write down the sale prices and markdowns of items I put in my cart so I know the price and also to make sure they ring up right at the check out. Well the girl checking me out was nice to us until she rang up an item and the amount was wrong so I said that the price was incorrect and I gave her the right price and she changed it. All seemed well until it kept happening and after 3 items doing this she said, “I can’t take your word for it.” I said “You are more than welcome to call a manager over to help.” So she did and the manager told her to correct the prices and she began to argue that they needed to make sure the prices were right. Well I was shocked that she spoke to her manager like that. Thankfully I shop here 1-2x a week and the manager has check me out before (she always laughs at me becasue I have the big “Colin” purse and binder) so she took over and fixed everything and took my word about the prices. So a bad thing turned into a great thing in the end!

that is a good idea to keep track of the prices. thats had been happening to me more often than not that the prices to dont ring up as advertised. i wonder what the deal is.

Could you stack the previous Target coupons for leapfrog tag reading system and manufacturers coupons to get a total of $15 off a tag reading system??

    • 9.1

      Amy says:

I don’t know about that since you would be using 2 Target Q’s for the same product…but maybe if you get an extra leapfrog item (IF you can find anything cheap that is – OH! I just had a thought…the $5 Tag book in the Easter section would work) the Q would attach to that extra item and you would still be over $30 if you get the Tag Jr. as well. ???

I’m just wondering why some of the Target coupons are manufactuerer’s coupons? I was hoping I could stack them with coupons I already have, but if it says manufactuerer on the top, I can’t, correct? Also, even though these manufactuerer coupons printed from the Target website, can I use them other places, or only at Target?

I am having lots of trouble printing these coupons. Is it just me? I usually print coupons from other online sites. I have tried through IE and Firefox. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, I’m not seeing the toothbrush coupon.

Just a quick heads up! I got a coupon pack from Target in the mail yesterday. From looking at the list Collin posted above, they are different coupons and are all from Target so I will be able to stack! Yippee!

Just came back from Target. I got the Clorox toiletwand thing Colin posted yesterday, it was $9.69 and I used the $5 coupon so FREE after submitting for the Clorox $5 rebate! I got 2 of the kids 20ct bandaids ($1.82 here – I saw they had regular bandaids 30ct sheer for $1.77) and 1 Crest kids toothpaste (cause the oral B toothbrushes were $2.29 at my Target and the toothpaste only $1.97 which would make it free). All my bandaid coupons – both manu $1/1 and the Target ones – BEEPED! The guy pushed them through anyway but was weary of pushing through the Target ones bec he said I already used a coupon for the product. I explained you are allowed to use one manu and one Target coupon per item and he shrugged and did it for me, but I don’t know if I’d try that one again, lol. I’m thinking that I didn’t buy enough items for coupons to attach to. Even though you can use a manu & a Target coupon for one item, the register only attaches one coupon per product. Maybe next time I’ll try it with some “fillers” and see if it works. I hope other people post their experience with it! Thanks again for all the great deals!!

At my SuperTarget yesterday (here in San Antonio, TX), they had $1 Target Peelies on the Dove Ultimate Deodorant in the travel section. They don’t expire until 4/30. You can’t use them on the travel size (funny since they stuck them there), but you can stack it with the $2 Manufacturer Printable to get a full-size Dove Deodorant for only 29cents.

I went to Target yesterday twice and had HUGE problems with overage! The first time, the cashier gave me my coupons with no problem. The later cashier would not! Their coupon policy says the system will automatically price adjust the coupon if the item is worth less than the value of the coupon, BUT what happens if their system doesn’t recognize the coupon? Do they manually enter it in for me or do they price adjust? Isn’t it true the manufacturer reimburses the store for the coupon value? If so, Target is not “loosing money”, the manufacturer is paying my overage for me, right?! So FRUSTRATING!!!

    Jenna says:

I am having problems printing them. Awhile back when they switched their coupons someone posted has to change your computer to print them. It worked for me….but am now using a different computer. I tried the Tool, Internet, Privacy…etc that it tells you to do but doesn’t work. :( HELP!!!!

Where is the Oral B Stages Toothbrush on Target? I see all of the others, but not this one. Do I need to use a particular zip code? Thanks!

Nevermind – I found it with the Crest toothpaste! :)

    Valerie Klos says:

I have a print out of Target’s coupon policy that I keep with me in my coupon wallet. It very clearly states that you can stack Target coupons with Manufacturer’s coupons and that they may reduce the coupon amount if it exceeds the value of the item.
