There’s a great deal on the Swiffer 360 Dusters at Target. The PG insert that has the Free Refill when you buy any Swiffer starter kit coupons in it… Use the 1.00 any starter kit coupon and buy the 360 Dusters kit @ 4.49 (The regular kit, not the one with the extender handle, that’s more expensive) I think it was, so it would be 3.49 and then use the FREE Refill WYB a start kit coupon on the 6 count 360 refills which are like 8.49/8.99 (I have no idea why they are so much, but I’m excited to try these out on the fans in the house that’s for sure). Final cost is 3.46+tx for 13.00 or so of products!

So I bought four boxes of the crackers (on sale for 2.55 each) and used 4 $1.50 Heart to Heart coupons plus got the free box of cereal bars. So I got four boxes of crackers and a box of cereal bars for $4.20! I was so excited!

I think the Dove for Men coupon expired 2/28/10. I had already cleaned out and trashed all expired coupons and the Dove products were in those! Darn!

I would just like to state that Target is tell me that they do not honor the ad for Big Lots. I was very disappointed. They are stating that they sell second hand items and that’s why. Does anyone else have problems with Target? Also, everytime I pay with coupons they always give me a hard time and are sooooo RUDE to me. I just think Iam going to stop shopping there. WalMart honors everything so they just might start getting all my business, And they are not rude to coupon people

In my area it is the opposite. The Target cashiers are great.Walmart cashiers are always rude and act as if the coupons come out of their paycheck. I’ve even had Walmart cashiers throw out coupons that beeped instead of giving them back to use somewhere else.

I think every one of us should start emailing (a polite email) our stores- target, cvs, wags, and walmart, explaining the difficulties that we encounter. Perhaps if enough emails pour in they will start evaluating the cashiers procedures more thoroughly and begin to train employees on correct coupon policy…
I mean we are the customers right? They are supposed to treat us with respect and courtesy, not disdain! If I ran our business like that we would not have any customers!!

Thank you ladies! I even called corporate office and complained. The man named Mike would not let me talk to a supervisior, after I asked for one. Since, was not being very helpful, and I did tell him I would find a way to get to someone higher than him. I told him they need to state in there price matching policy what companies they do not except weekly ad’s from. We do need to email and write them some letters. Coupons are just like cashier, we are not asking for a hand out. We are just being wise with our money. Every little bit counts.

        Chantel says:

I am a cashier and I agree 100%. The best thing to do is email or call corporate on these stores. Also take those surveys at the bottom of the receipts. They always have a part where you can write in comments. The district managers get reports on what those surveys are saying. So if for example, they have a store in their district that has low scores for the courtesy of the staff at a particular store, believe me–they will do something about it! It all rolls down–and the cashiers will eventually catch hell for their behavior.

Don’t be afraid to call out the cashier or manager that is giving you a hard time. Let them know that you are calling corporate and be sure to take out a pen and paper and write down their name in front of them. If it is a manager, then tell them that you will be letting their store manager/district manager/corporate, etc know that they are refusing to let you use coupons and making you feel unwelcome. They might act tough and bitchy to you, but TRUST ME, no one wants you to call corporate on them. Better yet send an email. Those usually get forwarded to EVERYBODY! No employee wants to look bad in front of all their bosses!!!

And also, if you have a great cashier, you can also send in a compliment on them! If we get lots of compliments from guests at the store, it helps us move up in the company and also will help when it comes time to have our reviews for pay increases! ;)

I scored a great deal at Taget on Saturday. They have the Venus razors for 4.99, there’s a 4.00 Target peelie attached to the razor. I had 2 coupons for the razor, one was save 2.00 on a Venus razor, and the other was buy a Venus razor get Oil of Olay body wash free. So I scored 2 Venus razors and body wash for free. You buy 2 razors @4.99 each=9.98, use 2 of the 4.00 off peelies=8.00, the 2.00 coupons will cover what is owed, and the body wash is free.

The Crest Kids Toothpaste coupon is 50 cents, still makes for some free kids toothpaste.

    Madelene says:

There is no overage at Target using coupons, well at least not at ours. For example, you use a manufacturer coupon for 75 cents off an item, and then you want to use a target coupon for a $1 off on the same item. If the item cost $1.49, the register will take off 75 cents for the manufacturer coupon and adjust the Target coupon down 74 cents. Except, when the register says “item not here using this coupon” and the cashier excepts the coupon anyways, the register doesn’t know what cents to take of what item, so the register ends up taking off $1 using the Target coupon.

just got home from Target. I did the Huggies deal and got 3 maybelline lipsticks and a nail polish for only $4.22! Yay me. I had 3 $2 q’s for the lipstick and the cashier did not adjust them down so i got 2.25 overage!!! Yay! My cashier was real nice too, “Wow, you did really good!”

    Amber says:

I got a ton of overage today at Target for the first time. I found the Old Spice Red Zone 1.7 oz body wash on clearance for $.48 each, used $3/2 MQ and got overage on all them. I also got overage on the Crest toothpaste, Band-aids, and a bunch of trial sized items. Usually Target price adjusts every coupon, but today he just pushed them all through – I don’t know if it’s a new policy at my store, or if the cashier was just lazy, but I’m not complainin’. I’ll have to figure out his work schedule and always go when he’s working ;)

Is there any way to tell when something is a regional coupon? I often look for coupons to match up with these deals and can’t find them. I’ve looked several times for that Neosporin/Bandaid coupon and don’t seem to have it. A couple of weeks ago I didn’t seem to have one for Trident. I saw somewhere about a coupon for Halls cough drops too, and I don’t have that one either. I’ve been so frustrated – I want to do some of these deals and don’t have the coupons. Yet I have tons of make-up coupons and I don’t wear make-up! Oh well.

I have the same problem as you. It seems that the Red Plum coupon inserts that I get in our paper are NEVER the same as everyone else receives. I miss out on a lot of really good deals because of that. :-(
