I heard a lot of stores won’t take IPs for super doubles. Didn’t try, and not sure I’m going to make it back there. Anyone know of a specific policy in this regard? Or is it one of those fun YMMV experiences?

I am offically done with Kmart. I went in the past two days and both days have had to stand at customer service for at least 45 min. due to issues. Yesterday the girl rang up an extra pack of razors (6.99) and a coupon didn’t double. It took FOREVER to fix the problem and they were rude. I got home and realized they didn’t double not one of my Mom’s coupons (5.00 worth). Today I returned hoping to correct the issue on Mom’s transaction only to be treated like I was being petty and to be told they didn’t double coupons worth 2.00. I had to inform them of their coupon deal and everyone at customer service looked at me like I was idiot and they had to call the manager to verify what I was saying was correct! Nothing is in stock and the parking lot is empty so it isn’t due to a mad rush to buy up everything at Kmart. In fact, I saw three associates loading stuff off of the shelves, onto a roll cart and pushing it into the back of the store. I guess they don’t want the business. They should be grateful for the little business they do have!

Amen, I had nearly the exact experience. Forty-five minutes to check-out at customer service. How is the world does this store stay in business. If I were a stock holder, I would be looking for a new CEO.

I just came back from my local kmart, and found more sweet deals! Pinesol “Lavender” are on sale for 2/$6..they had hangtags for $1 off after Q doubles= $1 pinesol! YAY..also the feebreeze were 2/$5..on the p&g coupon book mailer there’s $1 coupons, so after Q is doubled, febreeze aerosol sprays only $0.50!! And also, on the P&G coupon mailer booklet theres a $1 off Dawn hand renewal, those are also on a price cut of $2.79 after Q doubles, $0.79!!

I had a good experience at Kmart today (surprisingly). The cashier was great. No problem with internet printed coupons…let me divide my order into groups of 5 and ring up 3 different transactions. Had multiples of some coupons and that wasn’t a problem either. Didn’t get as great of deals as I have in the past, but that’s mostly based on the lack of coupons I had…not that there weren’t deals to be found.

I did 2 seperate transactions yesterday using the same reward card and all of the coupons doubled. I was expecting a headache with K-mart (last time they doubled coupons it was a nightmare) but I have been 3 times and no issues yet.

All on the same card doubled. I thought the same thing, tied to the card could only do 5 a day…so I brought my husband with so he could get a card too…but nope, you can use the same card and they’ll still double if done separately. In fact, the cashier was just using empty cards that no one signed up for to double coupons for someone who didn’t know about it.

I didn’t have issues with double coupons but boy I did with the wait! I was next in line for 14 min while an associate tried to get a manager to come over to correct an issue. The associate didn’t know how to ring in a gift card. Good grief, if you can’t train them don’t hire them! I live at the beach and its Spring Break to boot but guess how many registers were open?? 2!!! They know it’s Spring Break for heavens sake! Needless to say, saving $20 on my purchase was worth it in the long run. Now I understand why people do not shop KMart anymore, service is horrible!!

I’ve had great luck at KMart doubles this week!! For some reason the computer wouldn’t accept 2 Hartz dog biscuit coupons in the same transaction so the cashier rang them up separately and both printed a $2 off milkbone mfr. coupon! Thanks for posting!!

My store they are $5.85
So 2 at $5.85 each
and 2 for $5.85 total
equals 4 for $17.55
minus 4 $2 q’s = $8 doubled = $16
So total was $1.55 plus tax
===$.39 each!

I’ve had great luck with KMart this week too. I have no complaints. I do feel a bit sorry for their employees though. There were two cashiers (one was a manager) that I spoke with and they told me that they didn’t even know about the double coupons until yesterday. It seems like corporate isn’t doing that great of a job communicating with the stores.

Just an FYI, I was told today that Kmart no longer accepts internet coupons. I am in PA, but they said this is their national policy, not sure if anyone else has heard this…

My Kmart takes them, and when I was shopping over the speakers there was a recording playing over the speakers that said you can use online manufacturer’s coupons for even more savings. So I think they are misinformed. I agree that corporate doesn’t do much to train their employees. The cashiers at my store didn’t even know how many coupons would double.

The store in Jefferson City, MO has a sign up that says “we now accept internet coupons”, I used one ($1.50 of right guard defense 5) and it doubled and everything. I also learned you can do more than one transaction and up to 5 coupons will double!

My store takes them, but a manager has to come over to “approve” them. It’s great to have the savings, but a pain in the butt to wait for the manager. I also feel bad for those who are waiting behind me too! Ah Kmart, you are such a people pleaser!

I took Collin’s advice and looked for a friendly cashier. It worked. She was very nice and even let me use two rewards cards so I could buy 10 things. I got four bottles of All detergent for free, two boxes of tampons 59 cents, and four Pedigree Dentastixs for 29 cents each! Very happy and going back tomorrow!

The ones in VA had the oil control, dry skin, and the shampoo/bodywash ones for $4.00. I feel bad for the employees because they aren’t informed of what was going on. I had a cashier who didn’t know about the double coupons and was sooo confused what was going on the screen. They had signs up, but I guess they didn’t let the employees know.

ymmv on the 5 separate transactions….the store closest to me (Nor. Cal.) said only 5 coupons per person per day. And, it is also posted at the registers & customer service counter. But, others on many blogs are saying that the cashiers are letting them do more than that.
I do have a deal to add, too: The OxiClean Max Force Laundry Stain Fighter & Booser Power Paks (wow, that is a mouthful)…10 pk is on sale at my location for $3.50. Use the $1.50/1 coupon from their website under the ‘coupons’ tab. Makes it 50 cents. I haven’t used them before, but I hope they are like the Tide Stain Release!

Stayfree $2/1-many of their products were $3.59 and dove $2/1 IPC, some are $3.79,oral b toothbrush $2/1. My store also had lots of varities of Gillete, and I got no overage.

Just got back from the Staten Island KMart and got mega buys. Johnson’s Buddy Soap Bars are priced at .99 everyday, used my 2.00 and 2.50 coupons to get 5 and the guy took off 4.00 and 5.00, which means I had 4.00 overage towards my order. Got at least $25.00 in misc. stuff for free. It was the best feeling to bring home all my goodies to show my hubby, who thinks I am absolutely nuts, because I don’t let anyone touch my freebies. I will go to Kmart again tomorrow and the next day and the next. Also pick a guy cashier, they never challenge you.

I was just going to post this too! Did this deal last night. Got a glass holder and a refill pack using 2 $1.50/1 coupons from some tins I purchased before the holidays that don’t expire until 12/31/10. Totally FREE!!! And the glass holder is fairly pretty, but looks even better when it didn’t cost a thing!

I have been to K-Mart the SLC, Utah one the past 2 days and have had no problems either day. Today I got 3 bottle Pantene Nature Fusion $2/1 from the vocalpoint pantene nature fusion shampoo sample. Pantene is $4.49, after the coupon doubled they were $.49, 2 oral b twin pack tooth brushes $3.39 after coupon free, with the left over going to my other purchases. Then I purchases 4 cans of pringles 2/$3 with $1/4 (not doubled) to get my $25 of P&G products. I spent $7.74 so I have a $2.26 money maker, with mail in rebate for Mastercard. I was so excited!

I emailed the corporate office (Sears Holding – look for it thru google search) and was told that KMART IS now accepting Internet Q’s as long as it’s not for a “free” item. I tried using Internet Q’s yesterday and was told they didn’t take them, but now that I have an email from corporate HQs I plan on taking my internet q’s back tomorrow!!
Also, at my Kmart in Gonzales, LA has Vitamin water $10/10 – I have 20 peelies for $1/2 so I got mine for just the tax!! no problems with doubling, but the cashier had no idea about it! After this deal is over I probably won’t step foot back there! I find that their everyday or sale prices or higher than most places! Even with the DB Q’s

Also…I used a bogo coupon for the glade air fresheners (.99) to get the SC Johnson rebate not expecting it to double but it took .99 off twice! I went yesterday and they had a ton of dove deodorant…I didn’t have my coupons so I went back today to do the dove deal and the shelves were empty! not sure if others were aware of the deal and cleaned them out in a day or if they were backstocking them…but i was bummed. still a success though…I’ve gone 4 times so far!

I have a great stocked up mini-superstore in my lower level, I am not worried about getting things for free anymore, just what we need and this is my favorite shampoo and conditioner. I was running low since it has been a long time since Kmart doubled and I am now stocked back up for a few months.

@Amy – do you have a copy of their policy for internet Qs? i went today to do the dove deal, and the manager said he can only take 4 printed internet Qs instead of 5. I said I had read that you take 5 per customer per day, then he went on saying that one of my Qs was copied (it was printed on a colored paper instead of my usual white) then i told him, no i printed all those from the dove website. he didnt want to argue anymore so he let me use all of my 5 Qs for 5 dove for 0.88 cents + 5 dollar catalina for the dove deal. i am unsure if i want to go back again even for good deals posted. it can be upsetting at times when you have to argue your way to deals that they advertise!

Anyone else have trouble using their $5 catalina? I bought 6 boxes of cereal, use 3 $1.50/2 coupons and still owed $6 something. I figured I would use the catalina, but then they tell me that you can’t use two “rewards” in the same transaction. I was trying to figure out why they considered the $5 catalina (a manufacturer’s coupon) a K-mart “reward” but they didn’t give me any reason other than the register won’t let us, so we can’t do anything. I think it was just a way to make me have to come in again later!

Can i just say i had the best experience this last week at Kmart in Maine! I’m so happy with them i’m going to start shopping there now, as i never have before. I went in every day on my way to work with my 5 coupons (both internet and newspaper) to be doubled. I got tons of free and $1 items, and never had one hassle, my cashiers were all very pleasant and several congratulated me on my deals
They also had a TON of winter and last season clothing items for kids for $1.99. I’ve now outfitted my daughter for next winter for so cheap! yea! Sorry to everyone who had troubles. Anyone know when the next double coupon event is or how we find out? Thanks!
