I am still very bitter that we didn’t get the biore B1G1 in our insert that week.

  • BrandyK says:

The strips are not included in the deal at my stores (maybe it’s regional). I’m holding my bogo q’s for the bogo deal at Rite Aid in a couple of weeks. used with a $5/20 that will give me overage for some necessities.

    • Amanda says:

When i went last week, only the 8 ct or 14 ct strips were included- the 6ct pkg with the extra moisturizer or whatever was in it is not included. Also, the detoxifying scrub is the only cleanser that will trigger the RR- the steam activated cleanser will not, as I learned the hard way last week.

      • Danielle W says:

I, too, bought the Steam Activated Cleanser last week with the BOGO q and no reward came out. Contacted Catalina but that product is not a qualifying product. I returned both of them, explaining to the manager that I purchased them because of the RR and got the wrong cleanser – and that I would buy back the strips and buy one of the qualifying cleansers (I hadn’t used them yet). He was a young HIP manager and gave me the full purchase price for both of them (I had only paid half that b/c of the q!) and I lucked out since they are on sale this week AND I had the printable q Collin has posted here. It was my first time ever returning something to Wags and I’m so glad it was a pleasant one :) Even more glad about the extra savings I got for it, too!

  • Niki says:

    I will try today.

  • Katie says:

does anyone else have the problem of the register rewards not printing? i tried it on the kotex and it didnt print at all. the cashier went and got a manager. they tried to tell me it was because i used a coupon on the item too. I dont recall that being part of their rules..but he went to check if the system was down, and said it was up and running and there was nothing he could do about it. now i dont really feel like taking my chances b.c sometimes they print and other times they dont :(

    • Amanda says:

you should be able to call corporate or the catalina company, give them your receipt info and have it printed for you.

    • Kari says:

The fact that they try to say it didn’t print because you used a coupon is total bull! I did the Kotex deal yesterday (with coupons) with the rolling Schick shave gel and had no problems at all.

      • Jennifer says:

I have had this happen on the toothbrushes that were on sale last week. The shift manager got a big attitude with me, I called corporate on her. The store manager called me on Sunday saying she was sorry and she wasn’t sure why it didn’t print my coupons had nothing to do with it, she told me to come back up and she would make it right and said sorry for the way the other manager acted.

    • LIZ says:

OH I hate that did not print out for me either at 3 different stores UT and none of them work with the BIORE product. I am calling corp.

    • Anonymous says:

I went to 3 different stores. The RR is not printing because the “cleanser” is not one of the items that is generating the reward. It was at first but I think they realized that the bogo was Giving to big a discount on the two so in lieu of a RR they attached $1 off coupons to the cleanser.

  • Shannon says:

Does anyone know if I were to buy them online, will I get a RR? None of my stores carry the facial mosturizer, which I need! So my only option is to buy online. But then can I use my q’s? I don’t have the BOGO, just a $1/1

  • Michelle says:

I tried the biore deal on Sunday and it didn’t generate an RR for either myself or my friend behind me. The manager also stated that it was because we used the BOGO coupon. I said that shouldn’t matter but they refused to budge. I was very aggravated because this would have been a very sweet deal.

  • JoR says:

i don’t get it. i thought the offer was: “Buy $15 or more of Biore products = $5 Ecb”
all the transactions i see here are under 15. what exactly do i miss?

  • Lori says:

My Walgreen’s add only says the biore is on sale for $5.99. Why aren’t the RR advertised?

  • Laure says:

You can also email the catalina company if your RR doesn’t print. I tried calling them and, while you are on hold, they have the email address for catalina. I believe it is coupon at catalinamarking dot com. Give all the info of what you bought, the store/time/address/etc and what should have printed and they will contact you within 2 days and will mail you the RR. If you’re like me, sometimes it’s nice to be able to just email and avoid confrontation on the phone…especially after having to deal with Wags cashiers, LOL

  • Jennifer says:

Also the Schick Shaving Gel was rolling last pm.

  • Rachael says:

Several of the register rewards are not printing out for me lately, because of using coupons. If the reward does not print out, my wags cashier will complete another transaction with the product and no coupons – this will print out the register reward. Then the cashier will do a return of the product so that her money comes out even. This has been very nice of them… now if they would only have their specials in stock.

  • Mary says:

Inside the box of biore strips is a coupon for $2 off. Way better than the $1 off coupon!

    • Anon says:

The $2 off coupon is for Biore SKIN PRESERVATION products only, not the ones that are included in the sale/RR deal, so they can’t be used in conjunction with this.

    • Lori says:

I think I have one of those. Does it say $2 off when you buy biore cleanser + any other biore product? I’m guessing we can’t pair that with the b1g1.

  • Sarah B says:

The $2 off I saw in store was on two so it wouldn’t work with the B1G1. I hope the $1 off works for me today….and that the shave gell is still rolling. It should be a sweet day at wags :)

  • Annoyed in Iowa.... :( says:

So, I just decided to leave work and go do this – #1 – the Wags mgr was a butt and said I could not get 4. I have my stepdad and Mom living with me and really did want a total 4 for my stepdad to use too. The manager was limiting my transactions – wrong! And – 2 – the RR is not for 2.99 – it’s for $3 so when you ring up your 2nd and try to roll it you have to buy something else. It was super annoying and I went head to head with the manager on it – good for him tho – man – he didn’t back down… whatever. Almost fed up with walgreens. Sometimes I feel like I’m paying more for this stuff when I have to fill in the penny to get the RR to count than I would spend just going to Target. The cashier was so nice btw. I explained to the manager that I understand that he gets paid form the manaufacturer and I was not clearing out his stock. uuggh.

  • tiffany says:

I tried this and a $4 didn’t print and they told me it was because I used other q’s'RR’s to purchase the item. I was really upset and don’t think that’s true or should be the case. I’m quite bitter with Wags right now because it seems everytime I use RR’s to purchase an item I don’t get RR’s that are due me. I took my q’s over to CVS for their ECB’s deal and I got plenty of Biore last month from RiteAid – for practically nothing and they’re not as stupidly strict with their q policy.

    • Christina says:

That is weird. The only time they don’t print out for me is when I am using a register reward I got from buying a certain product to buy it again. For instance, If I bought the Schick shave gel and got back a register reward for it and then went back the next day and bought another Schick shave gel and used that same reward I got the previous day to purchase it, then I would not get another register reward. Does that make sense?

  • Kari says:

Could someone answer this please. If I roll both the shavel gel AND biore, do I need 2 fillers?

    • Susan says:

You need one item per coupon, so If you do Biore 2 items with 2 coupons and and one shave gel with no coupons, you can use one RR. You have 3 items and 2 coupons plus the RR. If you want to buy them both again you would need one filler to use 2 Biore coupons and 2 rewards. hope that makes sense.

  • Tara says:

Today I did the sudafed/benadryl deal… on sale for 4.99 a piece, buy 2 get $5 RR and I used the $5 coupon.. the RR didn’t print and the manager informed me that they were getting stricter about coupons. That RR’s won’t print if another manufacturer coupon is used during the purchase. Hope it was just a gliche, I will continue to try, but not looking good :(

    • The manager was uninformed. The RR isn’t printing because the manufacturer coupon has the same code as the RR in this case. The system thinks you’re trying to roll a RR and it will not print. Contact Catalina at NCSC@catalinamarketing.com and they can help you fix it.

Also, the BOGO Biore coupon is coded for 2 items so most Walgreens registers will not take the $1/1 coupon as well. The register will beep for coupon amount exceeded.

    • Cathy says:

That same thing happened to me yesterday, but the manager came over and she did print it out for me but didn’t act like she really wanted to.

    • Marci says:

Just a note that ANY of those coupons from the 4/11 insert will not work because they all have a 992 in their code.

Will Catalina issue you more than one RR for the same deal if you call/e-mail with multiple receipts? I bought extra of the $5 off coupons so I could help out some of my family by stocking up. I don’t mind having to wait for the Catalinas because my first one (the Oral B deal) only took a week to get and it had a longer expiration date than I would have received in the store.

    • Evelyn says:

supersaversarah is correct that the code on these coupons are the same as the RR. I explained this to the cashier at the cosmetic counter, and she simply hand put the $5 coupon in the register as a manufacturer coupon. It worked and my RR printed just fine. Just DON”T scan the coupon.

  • anu1c says:

has anyone actually tried this deal and does it roll??????????

    • love+shop says:

was wondering the same thing! seems like a lot of bad experiences…

      • anu1c says:

Exactly, but no one has said if they have tried this deal or not.

        • ME says:

Look at the above and you will see the exact explanation. It’s just like the Sudafed, Benadryl etc coupon this week. If they have the same code on them they will NOT produce an RR so YMMV. I know at my stores I won’t even attempt it because if the RR doesn’t print they won’t do anything to ‘make it’ print. If a coupon beeps I’m done – no matter what and they won’t hand enter it.

  • jennifer says:

i’. sad I don’t have the coupon in mine

  • robyn says:

i was at walgreens today and satin care shave gel was on clearance for $1.49. so .49 after the $1/1 q. so that is a good filler item.

  • Brianne says:

I just got home and realized that I didnt get the register rewards and that was the whole reason I did this transaction. I contacted Walgreens and they said it is currently NOT a register reward, how would I find out whether this is true or not. The other problem I have is that I only wanted these items if it was free after RR. If I return the items then I am also out the coupons that they took from me. Does any one have an answer to how to deal with this issue????
    Thanks

    • Susan says:

If the coupons are still in their drawer, they will give them back. But be advised, if you used another RR to pay, they will not refund that portion and will not give you the RR back.

    • Brianne says:

Thanks Susan for your info. Since posting I also called the Catalina company and they said since the purchase was made today they wouldnt be able to look into it any further until tomorrow but that they would mail me the coupon if it looked like it should have been printed. I also rec’d a phone call from the manager at Wags she said she was call re: the complaint I made abt the store. I nicely said it was not a complaint I just wondered abt the RR. She said since I used a Manu Q that it voided my chance at rec’ing the RR. I was still shocked at her tone abt me making a complaint that I didnt have an answer back. she said my only option is to come and return the product and get my money back….pause and then she said goodbye and hung up.

  • Jen says:

I tried one transaction and I did get a RR. I didn’t try to roll it because I did it on my lunch break and only had one coupon.

  • victor says:

Just got back from walgreens and sure enough, the Biore RR is ROLLING! As stated above earlier, they would not accept the $1 off one or the $2 off two products becuase the bogo coupon is coded for 2 products. Still a good deal for $1. I also purchased the shave gel at the same time and the cashier stopped me from rolling the $3 RR b/c it would not print another. She was really nice. Must be that they fixed the rolling RR for the shave gel, and apparently the cashier already knew it would not work.

  • Rosie says:

So many issues posted here, and I, too, have had issues with WAGS. I don’t like having to use RR’s as a coupon and I agree with poster above who said it feels as though we end up spending more sometimes just to add a filler, or a lousy piece of cheap candy just to make it all work. And with the exp date on the RR so close, I sometimes end up in WAGS just to use the RR, whether I needed to go there or not. Rite Aid and Target will get my business from now on. Good luck to those of you that continue to brave Walgreens and their temperamental cashiers and managers. I am through with WAGS and their ridiculous RR’s. :)

    • Me says:

Fine with me, more product will be left for me! I have no Target and no CVS and I don’t like the oop that I would have to do for Rite Aid. I have really figured out the way Wags works and LOVE it. I mean really, complaining that you can’t walk into a store and get things completely free? And have to buy a piece of candy? LOL – now that’s funny.

  • Mary S says:

I just got back from Wags in Houston, TX and the Biore deal is rolling as of today, Tuesday afternoon. Be advised that they could “fix” that situation at any time and it may not roll tomorrow or even later today. I have had both bad and good experiences at Wags over the past several months. There are some snarky cashiers and even managers out there. I just had a really good experience at this particular Wags on South Main at Buffalo Spwy. I had to deal with the photo tech, an Asst Mgr and a cosmetics cashier. All were helpful and professional. This will be my new favorite store.
Thanks for posting all the great deals Collin.

  • Aleshia says:

Just wanted to tell everyone this great deal I scored today and possibly you can too!
At my local Albertson’s the select Kelloggs cereal is on sale for 2.49, plus if you buy 3 you get 1 free gallon of milk. Also, Albertson’s has the twice the coupon at the register (the twice your coupon is doubling your coupons up to a dollar and up to three coupons.)
    My deal scenario…
Buy 3 kelloggs cereal (I bought frosted mini-wheats little bits) 2.49 each
    Total = 7.47
Use 3 1$/1 manufactures coupon for any Kelloggs special K Low fat granola, Raisin Bran
Extra, or Frosted mini wheats little bits from the 3/28 Red Plum
(My local Albertson’s doesn’t carry the Kelloggs Low Fat Granola or else I would have purchased that instead, make sure that the kelloggs cereal you purchase is one that is on sale for 2.49)
Then get all three coupons doubled (should be at register call and ask first) Thats 6$ of total!
Total 1.47 (only .49 each) Then a coupon for free milk will print out!!
Thats three boxes of cereal plus one gallon of milk for 1.47!
    I saved a total of 17.09!!

  • Amanda says:

both this and the schick deal are still rolling here in white house TN. Got some freebies today! woot woot!

  • Nichole B says:

I just went into my local Wag and my RR didn’t roll on the second transaction. I walked out paying around 10.00 out of pocket. I wasn’t too bummed after I realized I spent 2.50 per Biore item.

  • Niki says:

latest update. $5 RR for Biore didn’t print. I bought 2 items and used coupons exactly as Collin described above on her post. I was in a rush to not have time to ask for manager. But I will either email catalina people or just return the product later. You know what I mean, we all got piss when we don’t get RR as we expected.

  • Anon says:

I tried Hip to Save deal but did not print out the $5 coupon so I checked to see if I had the right products. At my WG the cleanser is not included in deal so returned those items. Then I got 2 of the pore strips and 2 cleansers. The cleansers had $1 tags hanging on them. The cashier said “here let’s use those.” I protested because they were for the cleansers but in the end used 2 BOGO coupons, 2 coupons from internet and 2 “hanging” coupons. I got 4 products and paid $7.98 AND $5 RR back–in end like $2.98! (Also got 2 clearance items by accident.)

  • daena says:

Sorry ladies,,,I rarely go to Wls because it is SUCH a hassle where I live. There is always an issue!! Good luck to you and yours!

  • Anonymous says:

After reading all the posts, I don’t feel so angry about my WAG store now. I did the kotex and bendaryl deals, didn’t get the RRs. The associate manager told me it was because I used RRs to pay. When I tried to argue with him, he said “this is my store, i know the system..it is always like this…..” with a very bad attitude. I wouldn’t be very upset if just the deal didn’t work for me, but I can’t stand the rude, untrained cashier.

  • Amy Bethers says:

I went to Walgreens tonight in Layton, UT and the cashier told me that in the near future register rewards used on purchases of items that are supposed to produce a register reward will not produce that reward if you use a past RR. Hope that makes sense. Has anyone else heard that?

  • Lori says:

I went to WG today, and none of the cleansers they had available (the scrub and the steam only) had the RR deal posted. The pore strips and the wipes did, and since our b1g1 applies only to the cleanser that wasn’t available I didn’t attempt it. The SA said they had the detox cleanser prior to setting up for this sale, but it was pulled. Maybe b/c of the coupon deal?

  • anu1c says:

i went to wags tonight, around 10:00 pm EST time here in FL, and this deal is rolling. I got three sets. Figure thats more then enough for hubby and I. I gave my extra Q’s to the cashier and she was happy :-)

  • Losingitagain says:

Marci, if you read this I just want to make sure I have this right. I am not going to use a Q from the 4/11 insert for he Biore deal, but rather one from the Internet and one from the 3/7 SS for the BOGO. I don’t see a 992 any where in either of the codes (the Internet one is 5 19100 700760 with another code above it 0019100-003988 and still one more 0529 2037 5190 5902) and the 3/7 SS is coded 5 19100 704140 with oneabove it 0019100-003842. Both of these should be good for the Biore deal an still print out the RR, right?

    • Danielle W says:

I just used the same q’s on the 8 pk pore strips and the detox cleanser in Rome, NY at about 8pm today (the 14th) and they worked fine and got my RR :)

  • esther says:

i went to walgreens 2 hours ago to get the kotex pads, the 2.5 RR didn’t print and the cashier said because I used the manufacturer $1 toward the purchase. Is the pad part of the RR deal btw?

  • Sarah B says:

I just found another B1G1 coupon in my stash so I may try and roll this tonight. :)

  • Maraissa says:

went to wags today and the cashier said I would not qualify for the RR if I used my bogo. I told him that my friend said it had worked for her…and he said it was his job as an employee to watch out for things like that to prevent people from using the coupons and getting the rewards. Sounded bogus to me…so I just left. Wondering if they are just getting stricter….or if he was full of it

    • Danielle W says:

he is definitely full of it. i hate it when ignorant cashiers try to enforce what they “think” should be the rules…when Wags runs these promotions to often coincide with coupons from the paper because they will in turn get more sales from savers, but still get the money from the manufactures.

    • Jaclyn says:

Watch in there ads for when they do a deal scenario including a coupon & RR. It will say something like Walgreens sale price is (for example) 5.00 -1.00 Sunday Paper “Coupon Savings” – 3.00 Register Reward= 1.00 your price. Whne you see a deal scenario including BOTH coupon & RR cut it out & save it! Next time they try making up their own rules you puil out what a previous Walgreens ad shows- using coupons AND getting a RR back! I would like to see them argue with that! It’s not often that Walgreens shows a scenario like that but it DOES happen! HTH :P

  • anu1c says:

i went today around 1:00 pm and this deal was still rolling. gotta love cheap biore stuff.

  • Danielle W says:

oh bummer. here in rome, ny they still had the detox cleanser which works for the RR and the BOGO q.

  • Anonymous says:

I am a Wags cashier and attempted this deal and it did not work. Our EXA explained that Corporate has been studying coupons more and are changing the rules. It may just be my district for now. Not sure. Here is what I was told…. if you use a mfr. coupon for over the value of the RR, it counts that as your deal. No RR is gonna print. In this case, the Mfr. coupon was for 5.99 and the rr was 5. So basically by using the b1g1 coupon, I sacrificed the rr for the immediate savings. Make sense??? BTW, we’re not all bad….

    • Anonymous says:

Will get my hands on the new rules and confirm….or not

      • victor says:

So, basically Walgreens will be fixing the system so they make evem more profit. As it stands now if you use a bogo coupon for the Biore, I get my 5 RR (AS ADVERTISED!!) and Walgreens gets reimbursed for every cent that I saved using the coupon. No loss to Walgreens!!! Now, if I use the coupon, they don’t print the RR? They are still being re-imbursed by Biore for the use of the coupon. That $5 RR is the reason I will be back in your store tomorrow or the next day. Why bother running a sale and RR deal to coincide with really good coupons? Oh yeah, they do that to sell things!!! If they do this, I will shop exclusively at all stores other than WALGREENS. All of their competitors run similar deals and programs, and they treat their customers much nicer (***my observation of the Walgreens comments thus far).

I noticed on the Hip2save facebook page that there are 18000+ fans. There are a lot of deal seekers that shop at Walgreens. In my opinion, they will lose our business and it will affect their bottom line. I am in Walgreens 3-4 times a week. Do you think that is a coincidence, or is it because of the deals and RR incentives? They have me in their store, and I buy more than the deals. I guess I will have to shop at one (or all) of the 5 Rite Aids that surrounds the 1 Walgreens in my area.

      • Lisa says:

I tried this deal yesterday… and no RR. The manager explained it the same way. This better not become a trend at walgreens!! :(

  • Lisa says:

Went to 2 walgreens last night and both were cleared out of all biore sale items. so frustrating!

  • Dee says:

Worked for me today at 12pm CST!!

  • Christina says:

Hi everyone. I am knew to this website and to using coupons. I am not familiar with the abbreviations telling you where to get the coupon. For example….SS.. I would really appreciate the translation. I am pretty sure this is an easy question but it’s driving me crazy trying to figure it out….lol…

  • Natasha says:

Okay, I have a coupon for Buy one Get one free… can I still use a second coupon for dollars off? Here’s the scenario, I have a coupon for buy a pore strip, get a facewash free, and a coupon for $5 off a biore item. Can I use both since I have two items? Couponers help!!! :) Thanks. Either way it’s a good deal. Just wondering.
