Home Depot: *HOT* Buy 1 Get 1 FREE Tree Coupon + More!

This Hip2Save.com Deal was hand-posted on Thursday, April 15th, 2010 at 9:45 am.

Have you signed up for the Home Depot Newsletter yet?! If not, you are so missing out! I just received an email from Home Depot with two high value exclusive coupons inside! The first one was for a FREE tree with the purchase of one and the second was for $4 off any quart concentrate or ready-to-Spray Concentrate Weed-B-Gone! I receive coupons like this on a regular basis and you can too–

Just go here to sign up to become a Home Depot newsletter subscriber! This newsletter is filled with special offers and promotions! You’ll also have the option to check a box to join the Home Depot Garden club! I’ve been a member of the Garden Club for quite some time. It really helped me save quite a bit of money on my gardening endeavors last year. You’ll not only receive an email newsletter with tips about gardening and more… BUT also really high value one time use coupons (they will print with your email address– like the ones above)!

… So what are you waiting for?! Go sign up!

Hey Collin, is this a coupon you could pdf and post for us. Most of the time they are generic multi use coupons – I would love to try, I signed up yesterday but I havnt received any yet.

    thanks :)

  • Tracy says:

Does a forsythia count as a tree? Would they consider that a bush?

  • Jen says:

Does anyone know how long it takes to receive the coupons? I just signed up now and was hoping to buy the tree tonight. Realistic?

  • Treva says:

I was looking to replace the two trees in my front yard, now I am able to do it. Got the coupon! Thanks!

    • Christi says:

I signed up as well and have received an email from them, but there wasn’t any coupons attached like Collin was talking about. Does it take awhile…or did I do something wrong in the signing up process maybe?? Any ideas :-)

I haven’t checked my e-mail yet. But, Home Depot has different e-mails you can sign up for. Most likely this is one for the Garden Club. They sent me a few weeks ago a BOGO plant bulbs. The main Home Depot e-mail usually just sends their ads.

      • Kathy Martin says:

I signed up for the Garden Club yesterday and got an introductory email with some expired offers. However, today I got another email with the tree coupon! Yeah!!!

  • Kara says:

    Treva,
When did you sign up that you already received the coupon. I signed up about an hour ago and just wanted to see how long it takes.

  • Beth says:

Yeah, I could really use this coupon. Hope they send it out soon. Thanks!

  • Jennifer says:

Anyone know how much trees are at Home Depot? I got this coupon yesterday and really need some more trees in my yard…..

    • Sheyanne says:

They vary by size of tree and by type. I think the other day we were looking at the younger ones of the Birch tree and it was about $30, in the DC area.

  • jeanette says:

I received an email today, with a link for coupons and when I opened it, it said they expired on 4/12. So I emailed corp to see what is up and if they can possibly send me a coupon for the tree :) I will let you know if I hear back

  • Esti Corcoran says:

I signed up for the club weeks ago, and I haven’t received anything but newsletter e-mails. Is there a special e-mail that is sent out separate from the newsletter e-mail that has these coupons in them? Or is there somewhere I need to click inside my Garden Club or Home Depot newsletter for these coupons? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

  • Karen says:

The email I received reads :

Garden Club: Look inside for expert tips, FREE workshops, exclusive savings and more!

I have received like 3 other emails from them, but none had coupons.

    • Karen, that is the title of my email that had the coupons in them. Scroll down a little and they are on the right side. They are under the heading “Exclusive Offers” and there is a picture of a tree beside the top coupon. Hope this helps.

  • Kelly M. says:

I wonder if Lowes will accept this coupon???

  • Kathy says:

Lowe’s has accepted competitor’s coupons in the past for me. Don’t know about this one.

I got this coupon in my inbox today. I signed up earlier for the Home Depot Newsletter, but apparently didn’t have the “garden” part selected, so I didn’t get anything. Thanks to a blog link a while back, I’m now getting these coupons.

    My coupon expires on 4-26.20

Hi ive been signed up for this for a while. Can I some how get the BOGO coupon? Thanks. Dana.

  • babysnark23 says:

Just an FYI, since I never really knew myself. I just started working for HD and I never knew they take manufacturer coupons. I never really thought about it but it’s nice to know in case I’m buying other items and am running low on cleaner, trash bags batteries, etc. and don’t want to stop at another store.

  • Sonia says:

I signed up for this a while back. I get snail mail from the Garden Club but not email. I get email from their other clubs, just not the Garden Club, even though I signed up for them all at the same time. I would have loved to have this coupon.

  • Kelly says:

If anyone wants to trade this coupon with me, let me know. I have A LOT of coupons, including 3 10% off Lowes (you can use it at Home depot) and one for a free The Lacie Victoria Secret (no purchase necessary) that I would be willing to trade for the BOGO tree Coupon. Let me know. Thanks.
