If you are a fan of orange juice like myself, then you’ll definitely want to sign up for Tropicana Juice rewards (if you haven’t already)! I’ve talked about this program previously, but wanted to go ahead and once again remind you all about it since they’re offering up yet another awesome reward– valid today ONLY!

From now through November 15, 2010, each specially-marked Tropicana, Tropicana Pure Premium and Trop50 product will include a unique 10-digit code with each code being worth the Juicy Reward Points stated on the package. Earned rewards include discounted admissions to amusement parks, museums, zoos etc.; to explore all of the available rewards in your area, click here.

In order to get started, you must first register at Tropicana by clicking here (you’ll get 1 point just for completing a quick survey!). You can then enter your codes at Tropicana.com or via mobile phone by texting the code to TROPOJ (876765). After you’re registered, thru today ONLY,  you can redeem a buy one get one FREE Fandango movie ticket reward ($15 value) for just 2 points!

If you’re new to Tropicana Rewards, you should have 1 point for registering and taking a survey. To score an additional point to redeem your reward, enter code FBOOK-TROPI (this code will ONLY work if you’re a new member and enter up to 6 hours after registering– the code will expire after 6 hours are up). After doing so, click on “Explore Rewards” and then you’ll be able to redeem your BOGO Fandango Movie Tickets!! :)

When does the movie ticket coupon expire?

  • Michelle M says:

You redeem 2 points for the BOGO movie ticket CODE. Then you use the code when you purchase Fandango theatre tickets ONLINE. The code expires June 16, 2010. Here’s the offer details:

Fandango code will expire June 16, 2010 at 11:59 p.m. CDT. Orders must be placed online via http://www.fandango.com/promo/tropicana or http://www.fandango.com. Tickets purchased through Fandango are only good at Fandango theaters and are non-refundable. Limit one per account.

  • Carrie says:

I got mine. It costs sooo much to go to a movie. This will come in handy!! Thanks Collin!!

  • Leah says:

Great deal! I plan to use this with the $5 in concession cash I just scored using points inside Kelloggs boxes (the “Toy Story 3″ boxes: http://www.kelloggs.com/toystory3) for a really cheap movie date!

  • Tashena Gonzales says:

Wonder if you can some how stack this with the fandango codes you can earn this week at Kroger . .

    • Shirley says:

I was hoping to use them with the Toy Story 3 tickets I got from the Toy Story/2 deal a week ago but I just checked and the movie doesn’t come out until the 18th. Still a good deal, though and I’ve heard Kroger has snuggle on sale so we can use our $3 Qs!

      • Laura says:

Maybe Fandango will have a ‘pre-order’ option… you never know… lots of theatres will pre-sale tickets to Shows they know are going to be popular… It might be a bit more crowded, okay, sell-out, but free tickets might be worth it! Good Luck!

      • Joanna LaFleur says:

Ya Kroget does have the snuggle on sale with the deal! I got 7 things of snuggle + lots of other groceries and my 2 tickets for only 23$!!!

  • Amanda says:

Thanks Collin! I don’t check the Tropicana site too often, so I wouldn’t have known about this otherwise. :D

    • Jaime says:

If you become a Tropicana fan on Facebook, they will add notifications of the daily deals in your news feed. That’s how I keep track!

  • robyn says:

so never used movie “coupons” before. how do we know if our local movie theatre is “participating”?? any help is appreciated. thanks

  • Lindsey says:

What a great deal I totally cashed my points for that! Thanks for the heads up!

  • Melissa says:

this is an awesome deal!!! Thanks again Collin!

  • Laura says:

    Worked like a charm! Thanks!

  • christine says:

thanks so much, collin…good date night deal!

  • Heather says:

Was hoping to save this to use to take the family to Toy Story 3 – but it doesn’t come out until June 18th – two days past expiry! Bummer! Another day perhaps…

    • Sarah says:

I think (don’t quote me on this) you can buy the tickets before June 16th even if they’re not used until later. When you buy them you have to pick the exact movie, date, and time you’re going to see the movie. You would just have to buy them a few days early but it should still work.

    • fran says:

Heather, You should check with your theater…they might take them past the expiration date. We go to Loew’s (an AMC theater) and they take coupons past the date…it’s worth a phone call.

    • cindi says:

sarah is right. you have to purchase them on fandango before the expiration date, not see the movie. However, fandango doesn’t pre-sell tickets for many movies, and even then it’s the midnight showings typically.

  • lora says:

    Whats Fandango?

    • Tilla says:

really? or joking? (sorry i can never tell on here) well if really…fandango is a movie website that major movie theaters use as a go between to sell their tickets. they have all the silly brown paper sack puppet commercials. I love fandango.com because I can get my movie tickets days or hours in advance and never have to worry about them selling out when i get to the theater box office

      • lora says:

REALLY! Dont laugh. :0) So if I entered my zip code & they showed my theater on the site. …they should accept the coupon? Just want to be sure before I redeem my precious points! Thank you for commenting.

        • Tilla says:

yes ma’am. make sure you can purchase theater tickets, sometimes it will show the show times, but the theater doesn’t particpate in fandango ticket purchasing. some of our smaller, outdated theaters here do not participate…but our larger Regal and Lowes Amc do.

  • Mom2twinsnVA says:

    Thanks for sharing!

    Collin you are awesome!!!

  • Terah says:

Check to see if you theater is participating first, I did not… I just cashed in my points and then found that none of the 3 local theaters participate in the fundango ticketing. So my points were wasted :( (oops)

    • SAHMinCambridge says:

Did you click all the way through to the end and pay for them? If not, you can still use the code as long as you didn’t confirm the purchase.

  • RIE says:

I’ll use it to see “Iron man2″… yay for me!!!

  • Nita says:

Can you get more that on set of B1G1 tickets. I can get lots of points from all the orange juice I have scored B1G1 free on lately.

  • Krystal says:

i just went to the Fandango.com website, and it appears that you can just do the b1g1 deal on your own from there without using your tropicana rewards points! There’s a link so you can look at the offers directly, i believe you have to sign up for one either way (if you go through tropicana or straight from the fandango site) i’m not a 100% sure on this, but if it is the case, save you Juicy Rewards points! :)

    • RIE says:

I might just have a sleepy head?! don’t see the offer you are talking about ….

    • SassyMom says:

You only get the BOGO from Fandango directly if you sign up for a third party deal (ie; netflix, gamefly, etc.) So if that doesn’t interest you then you should do the Tropicana rewards deal….

  • Ida says:

Is anyone else having a problem setting up a Fandango account? It keeps saying can not set up a new community user : ( I also checked to make sure there was a movie theater in my area before I used my points and it showed our theater, but now it is saying no theater available. I thought maybe it was because I wasn’t registered but it won’t let me register. Do you think it is because it is to busy?

    • Anonymous says:

I also am having that problem. They are probably busy. I am anxious to get it done but realy don’t need it today. :) SO I will try tomorrow

    • SAHMinCambridge says:

I was able to redeem my code without setting up a fandango account, I just clicked through guest.

  • Sharon says:

Wow. just for reading your blog, I got a free movie ticket! Nice deal! :)

  • stephanie willcox says:

Yeah….. like how they will show you your movie times at a theater near you – even though that theater is NOT accepting Fandago! None in my area

    • SAHMinCambridge says:

Yeah, you have to make sure to click the tab that says Fandango movie theaters, the default goes to all movie theaters…tricky tricky!

  • Lacey says:

Thanks! I’m going to use this for my dad’s birthday present, I couldn’t think of anything else to get him!

  • amber says:

    Ida:

    I’m having that problem too!

  • SavLucEvMommy says:

YAY!!! So I just got my BOGO free tix to see Date Night, and I picked a Regal Cinemas, where I can use my FREE popcorn coupons I printed yesterday for becoming a fan on their FB page! YAY for cheap Date Night! I wonder if I can sneak in some free lemonade in my purse… ;)

  • Tashena Gonzales says:

I can’t get anything to work. When I click redeem now my points don’t deduct and I have no email. And I can’t set up a fandango account either getting the same error message.

  • sheyanne says:

I never used the last coupon that we got from Tropicana for BOGO an orange juice. How sad! But this one I will for sure use.

  • Lindy says:

Every time I try and redeem my points for the reward I get the message “limit reached”?! Anyone else?

    • Lorri E says:

try going to “home” and then to “your account”. This did the same thing for me, however, when I looked at my account, I could see that I redeemed my points for the Fandango BOGO coupon and it was in my rewards history. I can still access it there and/or they will be sending me an email where I can redeem it as well – HTH

    • Alison says:

I received the same message. Did you check your email? I did and I found the promo code.

      • Lindy says:

Thanks for your help too! I did get the confirmation email. This is an awesome promo since my DH LOVES to go to the movies!!!!!!!!

  • SAHMinCambridge says:

thanks so much for posting this, today is our wedding anniversary and we were planning to catch a movie anyways, what a great surprise!

  • Tashena Gonzales says:

Yep done all the mentioned above nothing is working for me. Nothing happens when I click redeem other than thanking me for opting in the email. I have nothing in my accounts, my points are not deducted and I have no email. I’ve tried like 5 times nothing.

  • Kirsten says:

    Thank you Collin!

  • Sheryl says:

    Yay! Thanks Collin!! :)

  • Karen B. says:

Got my two adult tickets for this Tuesday night with my hubby. Going to use more email accts and you don’t have to sign up for a Fandango account, you can just skip it. Thanks Collin, this is going to be a nice Date Night!

  • Amanda H. says:

If you did the Hershey’s free ticket that Collin posted about before that was through Fandango, so if you wait to use this code, you should be able to get 2 tickets for free. Yay free movies!

  • Pacific NW says:

  • Karen B. says:

girls, i think the offer is gone, just tried again with a diff. email add. and they say the offer is not on their site and to try other offers?

    • Karen B. says:

    • Kara says:

Hey guys — I called their toll free number and they said they are having problems with the site because traffic is so heavy — but to keep trying. She didn’t say that the deal was gone!

      • Anonymous says:

hm.. who did you call… if you get a code through tropicana, fandango has to offer it right? Im not sure what you are talking about limit reached, i am not going to use my code until i need it, before expiration, i should be good then right? It isnt going to say limit reached on their site then right. im confused:)

  • Tashena Gonzales says:

Still not working for me after seven attempts! Going to try to use a different email for my husband start from scratch.

  • Lauren says:

Wow! That Tropicana site is really busy! I had a hard time getting my survey responses to save at first. i had to go under my account and click on survey again to save the info and get the point. Thanks for posting this. I’m also gonna use my pocorn coupon with this! I love free stuff!

    • Laura says:

I had the same problem, but I just hit the back key and it brought me back the the survey page and i kept submitting until it finally took it!

Total out of pocket, $13, a night out with my wonderful husband, priceless! Remember, it’s not as important that you GET the deal, it isn’t a competition, it’s important that the savings you realize is allowing you to breath easier, work less, and spend more time with the people and things that are important.
