Just FYI – you MUST buy something to put in it even with the coupon or they will charge you for the bag! grrr

I went the very first day, because I thought as soon as people heard about it, all the clearance would be picked through. I did get some ok deals but nothing fantastic. I did need everything I bought so at least I didn’t pay full price.

I went last weekend and scored some really good deals! I got a bunch of stuff off clearance and tons of sale stuff… I saved $64 total and got TONS of stuff for my daughter. I didn’t pay more than $5 for any item I bought and some as low as $1.25! :) I also used the 20% off one item coupon on a non clothing item she needed and saved there too! It was a good shopping trip!

I went on Tuesday night, they were out of the bags. Didn’t bother looking for clothes.

I went yesterday during lunch & the BRU by me still had plenty of bags. There was a lot of clearance in 12 mo & smaller sizes, but just a handful of stuff in the larger sizes. I didn’t buy much, but felt like I got a good deal on what I picked up & the free bag is cute. Most of their clearance prices were still high to me.

  • Sue says:

I found toddler socks on clearance for 50¢. So, after the discount with the bag, they were 37¢ a pair. Worth the stop to check!

  • Shauna says:

We went last night, but we only got a few items: a three piece outfit (for his first birthday party next month), a pair of socks, overalls and a four pack of designed onesies. We only paid $23 (for ten items -including the bag) so I think we did okay. I also had trouble finding things in size 18 months for boys. I was pleased that some of the clearance items were priced even lower when I scanned them at the price checker. You may want to try scanning the clearance items.

I went last night and found that the 3T boys items were severely picked through, in both spring/summer styles and clearance. I did manage to “fill-a-bag” but bought shoes in two sizes up, some t-shirts for NEXT summer and a few things (including a Yankees shirt and tee- SPLURGE!) for this year. I used my Rewards R Us $10/$50 clothing purchase on top and had a 20% off one item coupon as well, so all said for 1 hat, 4 tees, one 3-piece outfit, 1 pair pants, 1 long sleeve shirt and one pair of sneakers plus a toothbrush holder, some binkies and dried fruit snacks, I paid $69. Not my best, by far, but I did get the free bag and a few cute things :)

I wish I could of gotten some better deals but as always my BRU has tons of girls clothes and sizes, and very little boy selections and sizes..and don’t even get me started on the boy shoe selections…BLAH. Err makes me soo mad, lol but with a neice on the way I did score a 2 pack of carters shirts for 3.00 soo 1.50 a shirt..not too bad

I have a 3 month old that needed new clothes BAD. Between my mom and I we spent OOP $180 (I know..it IS a lot) however, the total before coupons came to $333! So, we saved a ton. I don’t often purchase clothes for my kiddos (2 yrs. and 3 months) because so many other people are so generous to us in providing clothing for them. My 3 month little guy is wearing 9 month size so a lot of what he had he had outgrown. We ended up getting 19 outfits, diaper cream, teething tablets, 12 pairs of socks, sandals and aqua socks. Lots of clearance items and everything non-clearance was on sale. Cute little nike socks for baby came to $3 for a pack of 3! I scooped up 3 packs and they stay on great!

I scored a cute summer hat for $1.12 for my toddler, and 2 bottles of Dreft pretreater for $2.99 a piece at TRU! BRU didn’t have as good as deals and many items weren’t eligible for some reason, but I got her some socks.

  • I went in on the second day of the promotion and they were out of the bags but said they would honor the 25% off any clothes or shoes coupon anyway. I looked around but with my husband and child in tow…..I didn’t really get the chance to shop the sale racks like I like to do. :(
