  1. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It is not letting me comment under Walgreens deals, so I am sorry to ask this in the wrong spot, but I have a question about Wags. I have not shopped there in a while and can not remember if they will adjust down the RR to the purchase price. I was going to roll my $3 RR from stayfree to purchase the shave cream (2.99) but was unsure if I had to get a filler of if that would work?

    • OiOi

My Wags is pretty strict with coupons. Mine would not adjust down a RR so you would have to definately purchase another item. My Wags also does not allow RR to cover any part of the sales tax (that”ll sometimes throw me off when I’m guesstimating my total spending in my head) but I think Wags is a YMMV kind of store. Others may have different experiences.

    • Alana

You’ll have to get a filler.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the help! I will have to rework my deals

      • JoR

the number of Q has to be equal to the number of products? this what the fillers are for?

  2. Elizabeth

I can’t post under Walgreens either. I can’t get the coupon for scotch packaging tape to come up. I get a 404 error. Anyone else having this issue?

  3. Melinda P

If you click the link and then delete everything after home.aspx in the address bar, you will get the Off the Roll Tape Sculpture Contest page. The link to the coupon is in the lower right. And it’s a pdf. 🙂

  4. Rachael

My Arm & Hammer is SO overpriced at CVS EVEN with the BOGO sales. I went to use a coupon for laundry soap there last time and I was so irritated that they pushed the price per bottle to over 8.00 that I refused to buy it there. I can get BIGGER bottles NOT on sale at the Dollar stores and use my coupons for better deals everyday!

  5. Heather

I can’t wait to get some of the Nivea products. On your deal scenario you only have to buy 2 of the lip products for the deal to come out. I’m sure it was just a typo but just wanted to clarify. 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks, I was a little confused by the numbers above.

  6. robyn

i didnt get the lysol hand touch coupon, but i was sure that it was $5, not $4?? because i was so mad i didnt get it. which would make it $4.99??

  7. Sarah

I was in CVS the other day and got a coupon from the coupon center for $3 off wyb 2 dove or snickers 8.5 oz or larger which would make the dove chocolate $1.50 each!

    • Ashley

Actually, it makes it only $1 for 2 bags! $6 – $3 CRT -2 $1/1 from the CVS Reinventing Beauty Mag = just $1 for both bags! My store had a stack of the coupons from the Mag sitting out a couple weeks ago!

  8. Lisa

Has anyone with an All You subscription gotten the May issue? I haven’t gotten mine yet… 🙁

    • Heather

      I got mine yesterday.

    • Lindsay Lee

I got mine Friday, yours will probably be coming the beginning of the week next week!

  9. jaime

Man, this is a really good week at walgreens and cvs!!! Im excited!!

  10. Mom2five

    If I buy 2 softsoap washes will I get $2 Ecb’s or $4 Ecb’s ?

    • Melissa

If you buy both in 1 transaction, you’ll get a $4 ECB. If you split them in two transactions you;ll get a $2 ecb each time.

      • Craig

Yeah unlike Walgreens, you can buy both in the same transaction and get ECBS for both on same receipt! Much easier than WG for that matter!!

  11. Melissa

I’d wait to do the Nivea deal. The week of 5/2, the bodywash (men & women) will be on sale $4.88.

  12. Melissa S.

The Nivea coupon for the body washes B1G1 is not in the May issue of All You, at least it’s not in mine and I purchased it from the store. So maybe it’s just for subscribers.

    • marie

I bought mine at walmart on thrusday and it was in there. one for bodywash and lip care. It is in the middle of book on the very top of the page i almost missed it.

    • Jennifer A

I bought mine at the store in Ohio and both nivea B1G1 coupons were inside

  13. Craig

Wow! I guess this SS Ensembles refills just got better for wa. Im holding onto 4 $2/1 q that were peelies on the bottles at Target a ways back, maybe even last year IDK now. Sooo, I guess final cost will be zip!

    • Craig

Awesome! Got 4 of these refills for Freeeee + overage! To make sure I got the overage, I picked up there new CVS green bag card?? for $1. After using it 4 times (4 sep. visits), you get a $1 ECB!!! Thought with all the deals we do there, why not!! Woohoo.

  14. patty

oh my gosh i just got back from cvs i got 6 pantenes, 4 nivea lipcares, 1 nivea body wash, 4 toothbrushes, 2 fig newtons, and 2 bags of dove chocolate and only spent $6.00 out of pocket. Thanks Collin!!!!!!!

  15. Amanda

Has anyone submitted for the Renpure Organics Rebate and received theirs back yet? I did this over a month ago and haven’t heard anything but that hangtag form was so small so I am just checking! Thanks!! 🙂

    • Kelly O'Donnell

Yes, I received mine. Takes a long time. No worries.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Still waiting on mine…but its only been 3 weeks.

    • Nikki

I have done the renpure deal 4 times, but have only received back 2 rebates so far. Still waiting for the other two. It did take a long time to get the ones back that I did get though.

      • Amanda

Awesome, Thanks you guys!!! I have 3 rebates I’m waiting on : SC Johnson, Renpure, and the Olay Quench so now I feel a lot better about this one! I am new to rebates but so far it has been VERY worth it! Thanks!!! 🙂

        • Craig

Yeah, be patient, the rebate fairy takes her time! Its awesome, its like christmas when you check the mail and get them finally!

  16. jenifer

How is the TresEmme products only $.67 each. On the BOGO do they give you more than $3.33?

    • angela

I was wondering the same thing

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

        They are 3.33 each. So 3.33 X 2 = 6.66 – BOGO coupon = 3.33 – 2 printable = 1.33 for 2 products. divide 1.33 by 2 = .665 cents each or .67 cents each. Hope this helps 🙂

        • angela

k thanks I thought you had to buy three to get that price.

          • Kiesha

Not at CVS, unless it specifies otherwise. CVS is my favorite place to shop. 🙂

    • Kaci

My CVS didn’t let me use the BOGO and $2 printable together

  17. Kelly O'Donnell

FYI – I got BOTH the Irish Spring Body Wash and the SoftSoap Body Wash free at CVS by using two coupons from the CVS Reinventing Beauty. It says “limit two” and there are $1/1 coupons for both in that magazine so both are free. The link for the $.75 off coupon no longer works. Great morning at CVS and Walgreens!

    • JoR

where could i find the CVS Reinventing Beauty ?

    • Betsy

My CVS has not had a new Reinventing Beauty since the one with Sandra Bullock on the cover, from November I think 🙁 They still have that old one sitting there but have not got new ones. 🙁

      • Barbara

Today at CVS I asked if they had the CVS Reinventing Beauty Magazine and the manager told me that her store never carried the magazine and that CVS was doing away with the magazine.

She said she received an email to remove all the Reinventing Beauty Signs from the store.

  18. Kim Johanson

    My scenario with AVATAR!!!

  19. Chris

I can’t get the Kodak Gallery coupon to print. It says I’ve reached my print limit but I haven’t ever printed any coupons from there site! Any ideas?

    • cindy

me too. will not print. any one else??????

  20. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Did awesome at CVS today. At the bottom of my mile long receipt, I got a coupon for a $25 gift card with a new or transferred prescription. If I have an ongoing prescription at Target and I only go to the doc once a year to get it renewed, how do I go about transferring it from Target to CVS?

    • Mary M

Just call the CVS you want to transfer it to. Give CVS the Target prescription number and phone number. They can transfer it from Target to CVS.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

        Awesome, thanks.

  21. Laura

:(AARRGGG!!!! I just left CVS and they would not let me use the $2.00 off MQ along with the BOGO MQ even after I tried explaining to the cashier and the manager that I’m purchasing one Reach toothbrush and using the $2.00 MQ for that one and the BOGO free MQ, but they weren’t trying to her me. Needless to say I was only able to use the BOGO MQ, but not the $2.00 MQ and therefore I paid $3.00 for 2 Reach toothbrushes and I received a $2.00 ECB for them. So I guess in the end they were only 50 cents each. Does anyone have any information regarding the BOGO MQ policy at CVS?

    • Stephanie

My cashier restricted my coupons today too, she would not let me use both because the register kept beeping when she scanned the second one. I was also disappointed because I bought the toothbrushes anyway and the ECB did not print. Oh well!

      • Mary M

If the ECB doesn’t print, they can print one for you. They look in the flyer for the offer # (in parentheses after the limit per household information). I never leave without getting the ECBs due to me.

    • Tawanda!

I read somewhere on one of the comment sections that it’s better to hand over the $$ off coupon first and then the BOGO free. That way the $$$ coupon “attaches” to one first and the BoGO free attached to what is left. If you reverse the order, the BOGO free can sometimes attach to both items. (Hope this explanation isn’t too confusing.) I started giving the cashiers the coupons in that order and no beeps.

I got my Renpure rebate back 4 weeks after I sent it.

  24. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I am so excited about the CVS deals this week! I stopped in this morning and picked up a couple boxes of Wheatthins and the Schick Quattro razor. i paid .09 OOP (used $5 ECBs) and got $5ECB back ($4 for the razor, $1 for 4th green bag tag visit). Will stop in tomorrow to pick up fig newtons and kodak dvd!! 🙂

  25. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I tried doing the Tresemme deal at CVS this morning. They wouldn’t let me use the $2 coupon after using the BOGO coupon. The computer wouldn’t take it. Has anyone been able to do it?

    • Debbie

just had the same problem and was coming to see if i was alone!

  26. Simon

Yeah unlike Walgreens, you can buy both in the same transaction and get ECBS for both on same receipt! Much easier than WG for that matter!!

  27. Kelly

I just tried printing the coupon for the kodak DVD’s, and it said I already printed it when I didn’t. Does anyone have one they don’t plan on using that they could send me? Reply at kellaphin@yahoo.com to let me know.

  28. Donna

OK a couple of issues I want to ask about 🙂 Is there an issue now when you use a B1G1Q to also use a money off Q too??? Did this change?
My other question is can someone post that Walgreens packing tape Q area again? I wish we had a chat room so we could get instant feedback LOL…..
We still can use a CVS Q and a man Q on same order?right?
    Thanks!
    Donna

    Hi Collin,

Is the ROC Brilliance $39.99 or $49.99? Mine rang up as $49.99.

    • Jessica

LOL, we posted this at the same time.. it was marked $49.99 at my store too.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes, $49.99 at my store, as well. Didn’t notice until after I had already checked out!

  30. Jessica

The ROC Brilliance was $49.99 at my store here in Southern California, not $39.99, so it would be $16.99 after ECB/coupon/rebate… It’s possible the prices are higher here than in other regions, but I thought I would post just in case. Bummer – $6.99 would have been an amazing deal!

    • Joy A.

The funny thing about this is on my receipt I got a $5.00 off on ROC Brilliance after buying it for $49.99. Maybe I should return it and then buy it again. Its a good thing I still have another $3.00 ROC coupon.

  31. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Has anyone had problems using the B1G1 coupon for the Kodak picture movie DVD to get the free DVDs? My store says I still have to buy one DVD to get one free. How do I explain to the store manager that using this B1G1 coupon, along with the current store sale B1B1, should allow me to get 2 free DVDs. I made 4 DVDs and went to pay with two B1G1 and he said I still have to pay for 2 DVDs. I have read Hip’s CVS store guide that says that it should work for 2 free items, but I’m trying to figure out how to explain it to the store manager. Anyone have a phone number for corporate CVS or any other comments on how I can resolve this? Thanks.

  32. Elaine

ROC was 54,99 here in New England – REALLY not a great deal (holding off to find a better deal with coupons for this product).

    • terri

I’m in the Boston area…the Roc is $49.99.

  33. Nicole

I’m mixing up the Avatar deal a bit:

2 Fig Newtons – free after 2 coupons
    2 All detergents – $3 ($7 minus 2 $2/1 q)
    1 Quilted Northern $5.99 ($6.99 minus $1/1 q…not sure where I got this one!)
    1 Nature’s Valley granola bar $2.04 ($2.44 minus $.40/1 q)
2 General Mills cereals 3.88 (4.88 minus $1/2 internet coupon)
    1 Cheerios 1.69 (2.44 minus $.75/1 internet q)

Total $25.75 before coupons, add the $19.99 for the movie and that’s $45.74 worth of products, for $21.59!!!

  34. Betsy

So excited about the Avatar Deal!! Thanks for everyone’s tips on using the fig newtons and wheat thins to get to the $25! 🙂

  35. What?

Ugh, love all the good deals but am going crazy with the Tresemme coupons. I love tresemme products, but all the good coupons out right now are for new Fresh Start. All these products are things like ‘hair refresher-freshen your hair without washing it’ and ‘waterless shampoo-use this moose and skip washing your hair’….Yuck!

Just FYI I did the Avatar deal today and on my reciept it says “Spend 24.75, Get Avatar DVD 1 for $15.00 Off” So I think your total will only need to be 24.75 not the full 25.00.
Not a very big difference – unless you’re a crazy couponer like me 🙂

I used the $1 off Fig Newtons and $1 off Wheat thins from facebook toward my total, as well as a $1 off plain Cheerios and a couple of $.75 on Fiber One and Cheerios. I wish I had the $2 on All but ended up paying full price for that (The agony!)

There were also a bunch of Gillette and Sports Guard Deodorants 90% off so I bought a deodorant for $.55 and got a free body wash. Not to bad.

  38. Mandy

Those of you doing the tresemme deal-are you buying fresh start products or other? I ask because all my coupons that have printed say for fresh start products, but they dont appear to be the ones on sale at my CVS. (although after I left I thought, hmmm, why didnt I scan to be sure??)

Also, did I understand correctly-you dont have to buy 3 to get them for 3.33 each?

  39. Julie

I just came back from CVS and they would not let me use the coupon since it was already BOGO. I told them that I know people that have done it just fine… they still didn’t take it. So I had to pay for one. Is there anything I can do… call corporate? I use coupons all the time and this has never happened to me… and suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated! THANKS!
