Kelsey says:
At Rite Aid, if there is an in-ad coupon, can I just clip 1 from the flyer and use it for say 3 items? Or do I need to clip 3 from the flyer (one coupon per item)?
Collin says:
Hi Kelsey-
Rite Aid in-ad coupons actually state one per customer so you would not be able to use 3 of the same in-ad coupon in one transaction. Hope this helps!
Kelsey says:
Thanks!
Julie S. says:
I’ve had some cashiers/stores let me use multiple in-ad manufacturer’s coupons in the same order. I guess it’s a ymmv issue.
Olivia Smith says:
Ok, so even with 3 separate transactions I can submit for the $5 SCR?
Cathy says:
yes
Elizabeth says:
Also, on Aveeno products, the in-ad coupon said manufacturers. They can only take one for the item
Melody says:
Rite AId’s coupon policy specifically states they will take a man. coupon with an in-ad manufacturer coupon. If your store gives you trouble, show them a copy of the policy, it’s very clear!
lilia says:
.hi what about the sunglasses reg price start at $17.99 is it a good week to buy them there’s $10 off and a $5 off vv and aloso a $2 scr what do you think ???
Emma says:
there is no $2.00 scr for the sunglasses.

Susan says:
I just went and bought 3 pairs of sunglasses at $17.99 original price per pair and paid $3.97 out of pocket, plus tax. They are SUPER cute! After I get my rebate(s) it will have been slightly better than free. Although I thought the limit was 1 for the rebate, but if not, score!!!
Nikki says:
You have 2 coupons listed, $10 off and $5 vv. I haven’t looked into this deal myself, but it wouldn’t work if both of those are Rite Aid coupons. I know the $5 one is, obviously, but I am not sure where the other one is. If it is a store coupon, it’s a no go. If it is a man. coupon, then that is awesome!
Tara says:
hey nikki, it just automatically takes off 10 dollars for any sunglass over 17.99. i just bought two pairs today that were 17.99 and they automatically rang up as 7.99. No coupon was needed to get them to this price. I then used my $5 video values coupons to get them down to 2.99 each and had no issues. have to say that they do not have much of a selection at 17.99. i found a whole bunch that were 19.99 and up, but i only saw two pairs (identical) that were 17.99. Oh well! Now I have one for each car
Rite Aid Match Ups says:

toph says:
i think we can use 1 $10 Rite Aid VVQ and 1 $10 MFQ as stated on their ad
Prevacid 24 hour 42 ct. $25.99
Use the $5/$25 Rite Aid coupon found here (use zip code 43666) or here (expires 4/30!)
use $10/1 RAVVQ
Use the $10/1 coupon from the 4/11 SS
Final Cost $1.99!
Melody says:
You can! I have done it on Prevacid in the past, but it is actually spelled out in their ad, so shouldn’t be any problem. Great deal!
Michelle says:
Wouldn’t this be $.99, instead of $1.99? Or am I missing something?
bonita says:
Yes, you can do that! I did that same deal a month or so ago and got four boxes of the 42 ct Prevacid for $.99 each. When I came home w/ those four boxes, my DH said, “Well I guess we’re broke now!” (He kows how expensive that medicine is). Little did he know, I had found Collin’s website and had been getting some great deals. Thanks Collin for all the work you put into this site!

Tricia says:
The allergy rebate #552 deal you have posted is not acurate. If you read the terms of the rebate it reads: Rebate based on actual price paid (after any & all coupons are used).
Melody says:
Tricia – It does say that, but most people have had theirs go through (including myself). Not sure why they made that qualifier, but I only spent around $10 total and got a $25 gift card!
Tilla says:
i was going to ask about the same thing…i hope it works for me
Jessica says:
I only spent about $15 after coupons, and I submitted my receipts already and I received a message that my $25 Rite Aid Gift Card has been mailed. So it seems they are not following the wording, as it has worked for me and many others.
Heather says:
The $2 off in-ad aveeno coupon is a manufacturer coupon. I have had a hard time in the past combining this type of in-ad coupon with another man. coupon…
Melody says:
Heather – Take this in with you: http://dealseekingmom.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/Rite-Aid-Official-Corporate-Coupon-Policy.pdf
It specifically says they allow you to stack one regular manufacturer coupon and a manufacturer coupon from the ad!
Heather says:
thanks for the info!!
Jeff says:
Heather – Take this in with you: http://dealseekingmom.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/Rite-Aid-Official-Corporate-Coupon-Policy.pdf
It specifically says they allow you to stack one regular manufacturer coupon and a manufacturer coupon from the ad!
Cathy says:
I have a Wellness+ Card. On 4/22 I got an email from Rite Aid with coupon $1 off any skin care purchase of $10+. Do you think I could use this coupon when purchasing Aveeno skincare products, along with the in-ad coupon and SS coupon?
Melody says:
Cathy – They shouldn’t allow you to use both an in-ad coupon and a Wellness+ coupon since they are both considered Rite Aid coupons and the store doesn’t get reimbursed for either. Hope that helps! I guess some stores might allow it, but it’s against their policy.
Cathy says:
“They shouldn’t allow you to use both an in-ad coupon and a Wellness+ coupon since they are both considered Rite Aid coupons and the store doesn’t get reimbursed for either.”
Melody, The in-ad coupon has printed at the top “Manufacturer’s Coupon/ Expires 05/01/10.” The in-ad coupon has printed at the bottom “Good only at Rite Aid Pharmacies. Limit one per customer. Coupon redemption paid by manufacturer. Not valid if duplicated.” So, Rite Aid will be reimbursed if I use the in-ad coupon.
I did look more closely at the fine print of the Wellness+ coupon. At the bottom it says “…Cannot be combined with any other offers…” So, this fine print answers my own question. The 3 Wellness+ coupons don’t very good in the email but would give some savings if you were buying store brand or other product that did not offer coupons.
Melody says:
Cathy – That does make sense, but I’m also wondering.. If you are using an in-ad coupon and a regular manufacturer coupon, do they get reimbursed for both? I actually contacted customer service about using three coupons together (for example, Wellness+, in-ad and manufacturer) and they said no, so that’s what I was going off of.
dawn says:
is there a specific order to hand over coupons if you are using a bogo free on an item that you also have a $1 off coupon for?? I thought I had seen somewhere that one of the coupons attaches to the products a certain way so you had to give them in a certain order….
Erin says:
I don’t know that it particularly matters at Rite Aid, but I like to hand over the cents-off coupon first, then the bogo. That way, the cents-off has already gone through before the bogo beeps, and the cashier need only punch in the price . . . and not potentially argue Rite Aid coupon policy!
Nora says:
Allergy rebate states rebate amount is based on cost after coupons. I am concerned that I have to spent ~$36 then take away the mfg coupon of ~$6 and ~$5 (>$25 purchase) to qualify for the allergy $10 rebate.
Melody says:
Nora – Everyone I know, including myself, has had it qualify even when your total out of pocket after coupons was below the total purchase amount. I haven’t heard of anyone not qualifying with less out of pocket. You could always try it and return if for some reason it doesn’t work for you.
Jessica says:
I also only spent about $15 and then got the $25 Rite Aid gift card. I have heard of many others spending similar amounts (after coupons) and still qualifying. I would recommend purchasing $25 BEFORE coupons and not worrying about the wording, then when you get home enter your receipt immediately online on the SCR website, and it should show up if you qualified for the $10 gift card. This way you will know before you open or use anything. If for some reason you don’t qualify for it, you can always return the items.

I couldn’t find the Aveeno Moisturizing Bar at my Rite Aid!!
I was so excited about this deal, anyone else have this issue? I did, however, get the Dove Shampoo/Conditioner for $3.18 and then a $3SCR
Erin says:
I don’t think most stores–if any–carry the bars.
Olivia Smith says:
I saw it in CVS but of course that does me no good!
Randi says:
I couldn’t find the bars either.
Kristen says:
Has anyone already been getting discounts with their Wellness card? I did Collin’s scenario for the Allergy 2010 rebate; but most of the items I bought rang up with random discounts, so I am about $2 short of the $50 total. I’m going to keep an eye on my SCR status to see what it does, but I might have to go back and buy something else.
I can’t argue with discounts but it really throws off my math!
Chrissee @ Saving Cents Together says:
There is a Wellness coupon for $1.00/$10.00 any SKIN CARE purchase. This coupon would make the Clean & Clear $.50each or the Aveeno Lotion a bigger moneymaker.

Regarding this deal: Renuzit Pearl Scents/Super Odor Neutralizer Buy 1 Get 1 Free
I was so happy to see this on the blog, but it is not in the Rite Aid flyer in Michigan. I poured over this flyer looking for the ad. can someone please tell me what page it is on? Thanks!
Michelle says:
Debra,
I have run into this more than once at my Rite Aid in Rockford, MI. I’ve gone there expecting to get a deal and when I got there I found out it wasn’t on sale at my store. I’d look all through the ad and not be able to find it. I went home and searched it on the internet, and found that my store tends to get the short ad, and is usually about 4 pages shorter than the one that gets posted on slickdeals.net.

Also, don’t expect to find free Airwick. They’re $6.99 after 50 percent off at my store (as well as many others, judging by some of the posts I’ve seen).
Erin says:
Don’t bother printing the Stayfree coupon for this week’s sale. After it printed, I noticed it said 28 count or larger. Naturally, the highest count on sale is 24.

Deal Scenario (based on on-line price):
Buy 1 Aveeno Moisturizing Bar $3.29
Use the $2/1 in-ad coupon
Use the $1/1 coupon from the 4/25 SS
Final Cost $0.29!
**Do this deal scenario 3 times and then submit for the $5 rebate. Your final cost will be 3 bars for FREE + a $4.13 moneymaker!
do i need to literally go three times, or can i do all in one transaction?
thanks.
Olivia Smith says:
You cannot do it all in one transaction because of the in-ad coupon. “Limit one per customer”. In order to get that extra $2 off it will need to be done in 3 separate transactions. HTH.
Melody says:
Some stores will let you use more than one in-ad coupon in a transaction. Couldn’t hurt to ask, would make everything a little simpler.
Erin says:
I’m not sure you’ll be able to find the bars in store. If you do, and your store is coupon friendly, they’ll probably let you.
TD says:
thanks everyone,…i didnt realize it was limit 1…i should have looked b4 asking. thanks!

I could not find the Moisturizing bar at my store either…

Signed up for Wellness, now why can’t I find the place where I can print out a temporary card while I wait for my real card to come? Anyone know where on the RA site this can be done?
Olivia Smith says:
You don’t even need the card– the cashier can look it up by your phone number. I had mine sent to my house in MD but won’t be there for 2 weeks but I told the cashier my phone number and it worked like a charm. Same goes for the ExtraCare cards at CVS.
Carmen says:
Has anyone tried to print the rebate form for the aveeno ageless vitality? I have tried to print this several times and I can’t get it printed. If anyone knows or has a copy I would appreciate it.:(
Carmen says:
I forgot to mention this is from the aveeno website, Sorry.

I just got back from Rite Aid. Now I am an avid Rite aid shopper, and I found a store that I deemed FANTASTIC… until last week that is. For some reason, last week they fought me on about 10 items… items that I found on clearance or sale that my coupon would exceed the price. Anyway, after being at the register for a half hour, I left without my free items b/c the manager refused to change the coupon.
I’m not timid, so I went back to my same Rite Aid today for my normal shopping. I had nothing even remotely questionable that I was purchasing. As soon as I approached the cash register, the manager took the place of the normal sales associate. She proceeded to check me out, questioning most of my coupons. She even gave one back saying I didn’t buy this product, so I pulled it out of the bag…she had forgotten she had scanned it!! Of course, I got no apology. Then, as I grabbed my bags to head out the door, I whipped out the coupon policy, handed it to the manger, and said “we had trouble last week, and I would appreciate you reading the highlighted section.” I think her eyes were burning me as I walked out the door. I don’t want to have to call corporate about this store, but one more week of being treated like a criminal, and I think I’m going to have to. Thanks for letting me vent.:)
Liz says:
Good for you! I wish I had your courage. I’m really glad to hear your story. I won’t even go into my local Rite-Aid because I leave with my blood pressure high because they’re manager fights me on a lot of my coupons.

way to go and thank you for giving me a better way to handle this

I was just wondering if anyone else has not gotten their $35 visa gift card for the p&g purchases?
Sherry says:
I sent Rite Aid an email inquiring about my gift card on March 22nd and received a response that I was approved for processing and to allow 4-6 from this date (3/22). I’m still waiting, if I don’t receive it by next week I will be calling them.
Cathy says:
I haven’t gotten mine, either! Ugh!
Also, my Rite Aid ad says you have to buy $30 worth of Aveeno products to get a $5 rebate… does anyone else have this ad? Collin’s match ups say you can just buy any 3 products…
Tara says:
I have not gotten my $35 PG gift card either and I requested mine back on 2/15! There is another PG gift card for $10 that I requested on 3/28 that I have not received either. However, I did get my Allergy $25 Rite Aid gift card today and I requested it on 4/11. Don’t know what’s going on with these PG gift cards. If nothing comes by next week then I will be emailing Rite Aid as well.

There is $5 rebate J&J (#1 I think) buy 3 items get $5 ..aveeno is one of the items.

I’m not seeing the Aveeno coupon under 90210. Any suggestions?
Tara says:
In regards to the deal:
Listerine Mouth Rinse, Reach Total Care Toothbrush, Reach UltraClean or Total Care Dental Floss 2/$6
Get a $3 Single Check Rebate #57 when you purchase 2
Do you think you can use the B1G1 coupon from the 1/3 RP for the Reach Total Care Toothbrushes? Then you would pay $3 and get back a $3 SCR making them free besides tax. I’m not sure if Collin just overlooked this deal because she has a deal posted for Walgreens using the Reach toothbrush coupon.

I am completely new to couponing, but I am doing my best to get started. I have a couple rite aid questions…
1st: Can I have 2 coupons and buy one item? I know that I can stack in ad coupons with a manufacturer coupon, but do when I do this do I need to have two items being purchased? For example This week I have a an in ad coupon for $2 off speed stick deodorant (regular price: $2.99). I also have a manufacturer coupon for $.50 off any speed stick. If I combine these can I get one for $.49?
2nd question: When using a $5 off $20 coupon, do I need to give it to the clerk in any specific order. I know I am going to be purchasing $20 worth of merchandise, but after coupons (if I figured things right) the total will be lots less. Will that matter? And as a side question do you usually give the coupons to the clerk all at once at the end of the transaction, or do you put them with each item separately?
Sorry for the elementary questions. Like I said I am just starting. this will be my 2nd coupon trip to Rite Aid. My first trip was much smaller (3 items). thanks for any and all help! I am loving this site! Thanks for all the hard work that goes into it!
Rebekah says:
Question 1: you are exactly right. You will get deodorant for 49 cents. You can pair a store coupon w/ a manufacturer on the SAME item.
2: Give the $5 off coupon first, so you don’t get into trouble after all your coupons scan. My Rite Aid makes it a point to scan it first anyway, but it could be different elsewhere. And I give coupons at the end, but some want them first. Just be sure to request they scan the $5 off coupon first if they mix them up.
Lauren says:
If you have a cents off and B1G1F coupons give them the cents off first otherwise some stores wont allow you to use them both. I just went to Rite Aid and used Collin’s Finish Quantumatic and AirWick deal to score the four for $6.43 (1.47 tax) and spent only $4.13 (1.36 tax) on 2 Oral B Advantage toothbrushes, 2 Gilette Sensor Mens 4ct and a Lady’s Speedstick. I used my RA Gift Cards from prescription transfers so nothing OOP!
Alli says:
Thanks so much for your help! I’m on my way to the store to try it out now! Yikes! I’m scared, but excited.
Carrie says:
I tried to do the Gillette fusion deal with the buy one cartridge, get the gel free and use the buy one cartridge get the razor for free coupon. Manager wouldn’t let me. said I had to buy two cartridges to use the by one get the razor for free coupon. I told her didn’t want it. Couldn’t find their policy on this scenerio.
