  I went to Wags at 12 am and didn’t read this before I went and really didn’t look at the coupons. Anyway, I got 10 of them and used the coupons and they didn’t beep. Then I read this …. so the right thing to do was go back to the store and let them know. Talked to the Manager and she told me don’t worry about it and to keep what I had. 🙂

  I think she means if the sale is BOGO 50% off and the coupon is BOGO free how does that work?? Depends on how your store does it. My walgreens takes ones off completly with the coupon so say you buy 2 items…both 9.99. They would take 9.99 off and all you would be paying is half of that…which is $5 bucks for both!…..they dont take the coupon off the half price, they take it off the full price. But stores buy you just may treat it like the BOGO 50% off sale isnt even there and just take off the half and you would pay 9.99 for both. Sorry I hope this makes sense….I am bad at explaining!! lol

    anyone having issues with the tone body wash coupon on their site???? i fill in all my info and it goes back saying u must fill in all required info with my email address line highlighted which i filled in (???) and i even tried using my husband’s email add and actually called n had him try to do it at work and we were both unsuccessful on all attempts!! 🙁

  I got no prints for this campaign also so it must be over. I emailed them to ask. I hate when they have a coupon on their site (any company) and you have to fill out all the information just for them to say Ha we got your info and you aren’t getting your coupon. 🙂

    Did they change the Benadryl, etc deal? I thought that a week or two ago a similar deal was posted and it didn’t work because the RR and the $5/2 coupon were the same code and the system thought you were using the RR to pay and thus didn’t print out at RR?

  The RR doesn’t print, but you can call or email Catalina and they’ll mail you your RR. That’s how I got mine.

  From Collin’s store guide post: You can reach Catalina at 1-888-8coupon. Be sure to have your receipt in hand, tell them what items you bought that should have triggered the RR. They will then review your transaction; if you truly should have received an RR, then one will be mailed to you in about 2-3 weeks.

  My RR didn’t print and I went back in and the cashier knows me and called his manager. The manager stated it was because I used a $5 coupon for the product and so she did a ‘fake’ transaction to get the $5 RR to print. That was super nice of her.

  I read on Slickdeals that they started producing the Register Reward correctly just this past week, so you should now be able to use the $5/2 coupon and get your RR. Hope that helps!

  I did the benadryl deal tonight and my rr did not print. I went back in and the manager told me it was because I used a man. coupon. I told him I do it all the time but he doesn’t know about coupons and doesn’t like to deal with my coupon issues. So I’m going to call Catalina tomorrow to see if I can get my rr. I’m glad to know I’m not the only one who didn’t get it.

  Yes, I used 2 ($5.00) when I bought 2 Olay Total Effects Daily Moisturizer and 2 Olay Revitalizing foaming cleanser. I also used 2 of the Buy moisturizer get the cleanser free coupon. It is YMMV because on the $5.00 coupon it reads Olay Regenerist.

    This is way last minute and I didn’t know where else to post this but if anyone has a Walgreens near you and are into lashes, Walgreens has $5 off Revlon lashes (in the coupon book). They’re originally $5.99 making them $0.99 each!!! PLUS, though it says only one per customer, I pickup up 6 of them, swiped coupon once and it took $30 off. Great deal if you can make it over by midnight!

    tricky question on RRs. since both stayfree maxi pads and skintimate shaving cream print $2.99 RRs, does that mean i can use the RRs back and forth for multiple times to get multiple sets of them for free? say first pay $1.99 with $1 MQ for the pads, get $2.99 RR. and then use it toward $2.99 skintimate, print another $2.99RR. then use that toward another $2.99 stayfree pad (or use $1 MQ with something else for around $1) print you another $2.99RR…… does that sound too good to be true?

  Hi Margaret!

  No, it is not too good to be true! But here’s the catch… since you have a RR that will be good for $3.00 (RR are rounded up to the nearest dollar if they are on a product ending with $.99 in the price). The RR will not work on a transaction totaling less than the RR’s value (even by one cent) as RR cannot pay tax. SO… you have to find an inexpensive “filler” item. At one of my stores, they have mini highlighters and pens on sale for $.17. I just buy one of those with the product I’m trying to use the RR on and the total is just enough so I can use the RR! Other than that and the tax you may have to pay… no, it is not too good to be true! 🙂

  Like sara says for the one transaction you will have to find a filler item (might I suggest a clearance easter candy for $.10? and on the other transaction that you are going to use the MQ on get another item or items that equal $1.01 and you will be good to go!

  I did have a problem with Stay free Maxi RR not printing. I’m not sure why. I used the $1 off Q that was in today’s insert, so maybe that’s why, but I don’t think it should have been. Anyway, I showed a SA that I didn’t get it, and she got a manager to print it out for me. No arguments at all. Just make sure yours prints!

    I am SO happy about the Stayfree RR deal. With all of the good deals I get and a closet almost filled to the brim with shampoo, air fresheners, toothpaste, my mom will NOT let me give her any of the things I buy. I’m a poor college student and she says that she wants me to keep everything that I can use myself so I never have to buy anything (which is very nice of her, I admit!) But I’d like to give back to her a little bit as she is helping to pay for my school and everything. Since I don’t use pads and she does, I can finally give something back to her! She also runs an Etsy store and I know she needs packaging tape, too. I’m SO excited! 🙂

    The $1/1 Scotch packing tape coupons are not scanning. One Walgreens refused to use them so I went to another one and they had to put them in manually. But I was only able to get 5 of them with these mfg. coupons and one .99 Walgreens coupon. I finally paid .25 tax for 5 of the tapes so I was happy. Anyone else finding these coupons not scanning?

    I had a question about the starbucks bygo ice cream. There was a printed cpn and a cpn out of the may walgreens cpn book. The cpn from the may book is for the Starbucks frappuccino drinks not the ice cream. They won’t accept that on ice cream too will they? My Walgreens is not too cpn friendly and do the usual run around when the rr’s don’t print. I’m just wondering if anyone knew anything about this . This was a deal collin posted. By the way I love this web site and have found it so helpful.

  I doubt they will accept that for the ice-cream. I usually get the run around for the coupons at WAGS too– it’s almost not worth the hassle. I also have a hard time pairing a WAGS coupon with a manufacturer coupon since the WAGS coupons say “manufacturer coupon only used at Walgreens” on them.

  Buy One Get One Free Items: If there is a Buy One Get One Free or a Buy Get One 50% Off promotion, you can use 2 coupons for the items. You can also use a Buy One Get One Free coupon for items that are currently part of a Buy One Get One Free promotion-this essentially makes both items FREE! Some Walgreens cashiers will say NO. If that’s the case, then go to a different store or a different cashier. Most coupon friendly cashiers will allow you to do this since they know that the manufacturer will reimburse there store the full amount for the coupons used.

  Hope that helps, if all else fails– ask to speak to a store manager and then if that doesn’t work call the corporate office at (847)-914-2500. 🙂

    What is an ECB. Is it a rr. I’m just gettting into this stuff so the lingo is new to me. Also, it was my understanding that you couldn’t use rr’s for dairy products. That is what they told me at my local wags. Has anyone had the sudafed rr’s not print. I used them about a week ago with the $5 cpn from the paper, the cashier also used two peelies. In the same transaction I bought Kellogg’s cereal and the shaving foam that was on rr for $2.99. I did have some man cpns for the cereal, but thought I had enough items. I also paid with one rr. I still thought at least some of them should have printed because it was about $9. I went home researched and then called catalina thanks to all these great web sites, I found the number. They were real good about it, they called me back and had me scan in the receipt and e-mailed me that I could expect a refund. However, I am still unsure if I want to buy these items again. They are on sale this week and I have another $5 cpn so it would make it a great deal, free after rr’s. I just don’t want the hassle of the whole printing thing. Just wondering. Hope someone can shed some light . Thanks

    I went to Walgreens today for the Scotch packaging tape. The original price was $3.49 each. I bought 6 (max on the Walgreens $0.99 cents coupon) and gave the cashier 6 $1.00 off manufacturer coupons. However, the cashier would only take 5 manufacturers coupons because she said the coupon was taking an extra cent off for each item. So, I didn’t get them all for free. So, I still had to pay $0.94 cents before sales tax for 6 packaging tapes. Oh well, still a good deal but free would have made my day better!

    Oh and get this. I went back into the store again a few minutes later and they took ALL of this packaging tape off the shelf! That always happens to me. Whenever there is a good sale, the item is not in stock (on purpose, in this case).

  You need to hand over the MC first then the in-ad Q. As long as you have other items to eat up your overage, you should have no problems. I just did it today this way and it worked great.

  I looked through my Cosmo and it was either page 73 or 143, (like Bev mentioned). It’s an actual cardstock insert, like a post card type card that is easy to recognize, once you find it. (It took me quite some time to locate it!)

    I think buy ECB she means RR. I hadn’t heard that bout the RR and dairy products. I’ve never tried but I have read of other people buying milk with them. I’d try again. As for the Sudafed deal, I haven’t tried it cuz I didn’t get a $5/2 coupon in my paper.

    Hmmm, all of my rr’s have excludes dairy on them, maybe it is a regional thing. Went to Wags today and the Starbucks cpn out of the May cpn book does not work with ice cream, it is only for the drinks. I bought them anyway because they were BOGO with a $1 off and they are gooood . I did use the Sudafed deal today. At first it didn’t print and after going out to the car and checking I realized it had scanned at $8.99 instead of $4.99. After going back in, they told me I had bought the wrong qty sudafed. He had to refund including the $5 cpn and then rebuy with the money given back. Then I bought it with cash but no cpn. It did print out that time, but the cashier and I couldn’t figure out if it was because I didn’t use a cpn that time. I haven’t looked at the receipts to tell if I got the right deal or not, after all that. It almost dosen’t seem worth it on some things at WAGS. I did get the Stayfree, Plackers and shave gel and used a Stayfree cpn and all the rr’s worked. The cashier did tell me the manufacturers are cutting back on the rr’s because they are losing money. I perfer the Rite Aid SCR so much better. It is way easier and I have yet to have a problem. Thanks for the input.

    Reach toothbrushes were not free for me! In store price was 4.79 each. Wags lady took the wags $2 off coupon first, making them each 2.79 and then she took off only 2.79 for the B1G1 coupon. So I paid 2.79 for the two toothbrushes. Think I may return them since I didnt need them anyways.

    I’m a walgreens employee that’s works for the cosmetic dept. I use coupons to and I’m all for them but please if the cashier is doing all they can don’tbe rude. There has been several employees fired from my work for taking in the wrong coupons or expired ones please understand they can get fired for it. Also on a good note they sent the senior beauty advisers samples to give out 20 u kotex bags there really cute about 50 nivea water lily body washes, cellulite samples and bodycology samples plus a lot of coupons be friendly and u can get some.

  I just got home from my shopping trip today. I went to two Walgreens stores. One didn’t have any of the products marked so I figured they must have been out of stock. The second store had all of the 16 or 24 cnts marked including the thins. I was frustrated because I could have probobly gotten some at the first store if I’d know they were on sale. So, no I believe they DO NOT HAVE to SAY Maxi on them.
