CVS: Two FREE Sunblock Tubes!

Hip2Save may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you via trusted partners and affiliate links in this post. Prices and availability are accurate as of time posted. Read our full disclosure policy here.

As I stated in the CVS weekly deals, there is a sweet Extra Care Buck deal available on CVS Suncare products– Buy 2 CVS Suncare products (excludes after sun and lip care) = $5 Ecb (Limit 1). Well, this deal gets even sweeter because the 2 oz Sunblock tubes that are priced at only $2.19 work for the Extra Care Buck deal! …So purchase 2 for a total of $4.38 and you’ll get back a $5 Ecb! Final cost FREE + a little moneymaker!

Please note: the 2 oz Aloe tubes do NOT work for the deal.

I did this today and it worked great. They were marked $2.39 at my store but rung up at $1.99! So only $4 and I got the $5 ECB 😀

    • Olivia Smith

WOAH, I’m going back tomorrow! 🙂

  2. Kelly

Are these in the travel size section?

    • LeAnna

Kelly and I have found that they have more than one area in most stores w/ travel sizes. So make sure you look up and down every aisle!!!

    • Amy

I found them in with all the summer stuff.

  3. Erin

My add says prices starting at 4.99 are they local adds or national?

  4. Tilla

i so wish i had cvs here, i’m always jealous of the deals:)

  5. donna

It works for sure. And that IS what the ad says, but that’s not what the cash register does!

  6. Donna

It does say starting at 4.99 🙂 Better RUN and get it before they catch it like the diaper wipes deal LOL

  7. Robyn

I soooo wish there was a CVA in my area or state for that matter. Bummer. 🙁

  8. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    limit?

    • Carla

      looks like limit of 1

  9. Ashleigh

This is working 🙂 They aren’t in the sunscreen section, but in the “summer” section.

  10. Marci

Today I purchased two of the 7.99 sunscreens and I used 2 $1 off CVS skincare products. After the $5 ECB it made each bottle 4.49 which is about .50 cheaper than buying the WalMart brand.

  11. Suzanne

It worked for me, you can only do the once per card.

  12. Andrea

I’ll have to RUN to CVS tomorrow…I missed the wipes deal before they caught it and am still kicking myself for that!

  13. Alison

Definitely off to CVS once I am dressed!

  14. couponmom1231

Got them and it worked! I was excited!

Also at my cvs: By the make up, there are these packs of 2 travel size pantene shampoo/conditioner’s. They are marked 2/$3. She said she would let me use my $3/2 pantene products since it was a “pack”, so I got 2 travel shampoos and 2 travel conditioners for free:)

  15. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

anyone do this deal today (26th)?

  16. Kristy

I was just there and it worked for me just fine!

  17. Renee

Just did the deal myself! They were $2.19 each at my store.

This will be perfect to have in my purse or glovebox – I always feel like the Worst Mom Ever when I don’t put any on my kids and then we end up in the sun all day. 😉

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I feel the same way when I see other moms bath their kids in sunblocks

  18. Olivia Smith

I just went to CVS and found only 1 in the regular suncare section, however, I went to the ‘summer’ section and there were more. I got 2 of the 30SPF 2.0 oz ones for $2.19 each and the ECB printed no problem! Sweet deal– perfect size and great for the summer!!

  19. Amanda

Yay I actually need this because we are going to the zoo and I just noticed that the sunblock I paid $7 for last year expired last month… 🙁 Thanks Collin!!

    • Vanessa Sanders

Probably shouldn’t tell you this but my husband worked for a major pharm co. that made sunscreen – the expiration means almost nothing. They literally rounded up expired product and relabeled to be sold. Your sunscreen is good for another couple of years!!!

  20. christine

I went today and found 2 that looked like that were forgotten about and had fallen behind a bunch of other sunscreen. Got them and the deal worked like a charm!

  21. Melanie

Got a few today also and worked great. Thanks for the tip on free sunscreen!

  22. Kari

I just did the sunblock deal and at my store the ECB deal was clearly marked on the shelf including the 2oz size, so I don’t think this was an “accident” like the wipes a while back.

I also was able to use the $3.00 off schick disposable razor coupon with no beeps, I asked my cashier beforehand just to make sure she was ok with it and she said “as long as it doesn’t beep it’s fine”. So I was able to get 2 boxes of wheat thins, 2 boxes of fig newtons, 2 oral b advantages, 2, 2 oz sunscreens and the schick hydro 5 razor for just $1.69 ($1.35 was tax!) after coupons and ECBS and I got $13.00 in ECBS back! Photos are on my blog if anybody wants to see the “loot” 🙂

  23. Steph

I just did this today, only SPF 15 left, but only $1.99 each! Also, my store (in IL) has a bunch of the $1 bins marked at 90% off. There are 4 packs of sponges, notepads, sticky notes, lots of good stuff for only 9 cents (yes, I know that 90% off is 10 cents, but it all rang up at 9 cents).

  24. sandy f

The small tubes are in stock and the deal works at the Philo Road CVS in Urbana, IL

  25. Randi

    worked for me today! Thanks!

  26. Sheila

Worked great, thanks. I found them right with all the other sun care items, not in the travel section (although I didn’t look in travel b.c I found them right away with sun care!)

  27. Aubrey

Thanks so much, Colin! It worked for me too today. Along with the Nivea scenario, Quattro razor and Pampers, I scored BIG today at CVS!

  28. LeAnna Shaw

I did finally find them w/ the sunscreen. I went to two stores and used it for both my card and my daughters card-I was thrilled. Also-not just fig newtons are on sale for 5/5. I used my chips ahoy/oreos 1/2…makeing them .50 each. Not bad. Perfect for taking to the pool. And I had some 1/2 cheeze its..and the little boxes were 5/5….good deals!

  29. Valerie

i went to cvs today and scored free huggies wipes, free fig newtons and the free sunblock! yay!

  30. Lydia

Worked for me tonight! Great way to make money! Don’t need it so I will be passing it along to someone else.

  31. Lisa

Got my free sunblock yesterday! woohoo!

  32. MommySpendsLess

Has anyone out there in Internet land tried it today (Tuesday)? Does it display anything special on the price checker for ECB deals? (Normally I just make that the price matches the sale price to make sure I have the right one.)

    • MommySpendsLess

So…to answer my own question – the little tubes are still producing the ECB’s as of 1:30ish this afternoon.

  33. Stephanie

I just did the sunblock deal at my CVS here in south Florida! given it’s already 3pm on Tuesday, I thought it would not work. And in my store the 2oz bottles were NOT marked as qualifying for the ECB offer. I also got free wheat thins and 2 free boxes of fig newtons (printed all 3 coupons off their facebook pages). So happy! Thanks Collin!

  34. shell

My sister and I did this deal today and it worked great. She even got a $2 off any suncare coupon when she scanned her card at the kiosk.

  35. Casey

Worked great for me tonight! too bad we can only do it once!!

  36. Elizabeth

Just did this deal! 4PM Eastern time on Wednesday and it still worked!

  37. Vanessa Sanders

Just did this deal!!! Used my $4 ECB from last week paid $0.64. Got my $5 ECB and turned around and bought Strabucks!!!! and used my $1.50 man coupon and paid $0.49!!!!!
