Has anyone else heard the rumor about RA going bankrupt? I stopped shopping there ever since Deal Seeking Mom posted about it…I’m worried I won’t get my money back! Anyone know if this is just a bad rumor???
terri says:
I have read on some websites that RiteAid is having financial troubles recently..it also has been listed on the top 10 companies that may go bankrupt next…something to be aware of..I still shop there, I’m just aware of it. I know CNN had posted articles, as well as Yahoo Money.
Ann says:
Does anyone know if the Ban Roll on is also $3.49, and if it is the regular size, not the tiny one? Ban roll on is so expensive, it would be great to get a good deal on it! Thanks!

Hey Collin! Do you include the tax and cost of a stamp in your calculations? Sorry if I sound nitpicky, but I think it would make a little more than a dollar difference in this case—something like $2.40 rather than $3.50. I’m thinking of when you are just using it as a mm and donating the product (if it’s something you don’t use). Thanks.
Sadie says:
You can do the rebate online, so no stamp calculation needed. (And tax is different in every state and city, that is too hard to calculate that for everyone.)
jane says:
Thanks, Sadie. I didn’t know you could do the rebate online. Is this the case with most rebates, or does it vary depending on the company?
Sadie says:
Most rebates are not online. Rite-Aid has theirs connected with their receipts, so they can process them online. The only thing is that you need to wait until the end of the month (or when you are done with you RIte-Aid shopping trips) to redeem. Single check rebate means that you can only get one check sent for the month. Hope this helps with your shopping!
Jessica says:
I do understand your point, but it would be totally impossible to calculate tax, because there is no sales tax in some states, and others have a high sales tax rate, so it would vary a lot. Each person just has to calculate that out for themselves to determine if it is really worth it for them. Of course there are a lot of things to take into consideration with any deal, such as gas money to get to the store, your time it would take to get the deal, etc.
Rite Aid rebates can always be submitted online, so no stamp necessary.

How do the Rite Aid $5 off $25, etc. coupons work with Rite Aids B1G1 and B1G1 50% off work? Will the coupon be applied before their deals or will it be applied after their deals have been calculated in the register? I know that with regular coupons and not the actual Rite Aid deals that the $ off $$ are applied first if that is the first coupon you use, but I wasn’t sure how it worked with Rite Aid store sales.
Jo says:
The $5/20 or $25 Q’s work the same as any purchase with the BOGO or B1G1 50% off. The subtotal of your purchase (pre coupons) must meet the minimum for your RA coupon. For instance, the Ban will ring up on the register for $10.48, not $13.96. So $10.48 is the price you need to figure into your total to meet the coupon minimum of $20 or $25. For instance, if you have $5/20 coupon, you would have the $10.48 plus need $9.52 worth of more items to be able to use the coupon. Same thing for BOGO sale items, you only count one item when figuring what you need to buy to meet the coupon amount. The register automatically takes the free item off before the subtotal. I mean for a store sale that is BOGO, not a coupon from you. Make sense? Can someone else explain it better?
Marci says:
Thanks! That’s what I needed to know.

I have been hearing those rumors since last fall. Odd that Patrick and Terry posted the exact same words as each other above? Same person perhaps?

In Utah the Ban wasn’t B1G1
I don’t like having the smaller ad. I still did the deal since it is a great price anyway, but just not as good as free!

OK, I’m confused… my coupon is $1 off 2… from 4/18 SS … anyone else notice that?
Deb says:
A great price is FREE, or a MM!
Some nice Dove trial size FREE with RP 4/25 Q’s at Target.

I haven’t been able to print the $.75 bricks coupon that is linked to this deal. Same thing with the Biore coupons that were advertised by that company. Has anyone else been having printing problems?
bfam says:
Can anyone confirm that the $10 SCR works on the solids and not just the roll-ons? My Rite Aid only had signs that specified the roll-ons…
