They always make the machines super cheap, but the test strips are too expensive. Unless you have an insurance company paying the tab, its better to get a generic meter and buy cheap strips.

  • deb f says:

this is a rip off, you have to qualify later for alzheimer’s or something else. they collect your info and tell you you are not eligible. don’t waste your time!

  • Kaitlin says:

worked for me! All I did was put in my mailing address and answered like 3 questions about diabetes and that was it!

  • Ruby A says:

I actually ordered this for my husband, they shipped it very quickly. It is very cute and compact and my husband totally preferred it to his generic one. They come in all sorts of fun colors…I ordered his in a lime green, it is very easy to use too.

I never got a confirmation, so we’ll see if it shows up. I had to go through and say no to about 80 offers and finally it just said thank you, here are some coupons for you. Hmmm… I hope it comes, as I’ve wanted my husband to have one of these smaller versions for his pocket. He already uses the full size One Touch so I also hope he can use the same test strips. Thanks, Colin!

They never even asked for an address?? Guess I don’t qualify.

  • susan says:

I could not get to go through online, so I called and I was asked about 3 questions, gave my name and address and choose my color. I was very easy and they were very friendly.

  • BethieofVA says:

I am diabetic, but gave up after having to click through four pages of bonus offers-CRAP!

    • susie olds says:

me too, pages and pages I quick after the 5th PAGE of questions! Wanted me to sign up for more offers. waste of time

  • Jessica says:

My husband is diabetic so I wanted to get this for him. I too answered the 3 quesions etc. and went through all of the “free offers” but never got a yay or nay for the meter. I didn’t see a color statement or anything.. hmm.. I did get an email “welcome to QualityHealth” but that’s it. Anyone else? Should I just call?

  • MoKeaton says:

I have tried this twice, with no luck. The first time, the meter didn’t even come, and this second time, we will have to wait and see!

  • Teresa H. says:

Huummm. Don’t know if I got it or not..It just asked my name and address etc, then came all the questions…then finally at end it said “Thank You! Enjoy these coupon savings” and put up a coupon website. I just don’t know. I’d like to have it for me.

    • Teresa H. says:

Never asked me a color choice ;( so I’m supposing I didn’t get one. Oh well..we’ll see and if not, I’ll get my cheap one from Wally-World.

  • Gabriella says:

So I went through the whole thing, & I too received the thank you at the end with the coupons…would be nice to be able to get this in the mail—our neighbors little girl was just diagnosed and maybe a pretty purple meter will possibly make her day??

  • heidi says:

a total waste of time answering millions of questions no no no no until i gave up

  • Stacie says:

I tried this too & just ended up with free coupons. I did a search for the free meter & this site worked!

I applied using the site Stacie mentioned about a month or two ago and received the meter about 2 weeks after answering all the survey questions. While there were many annoying offers, I just patiently clicked skip or no and got through it. The meter is small and easy to use. My son uses the AnimasPing pump and the OneTouch Ping meter with the OneTouchUltra Test Strips – so we don’t need to get anything different than what we have. We leave this mini one at my inlaws for those times that we forget the ping meter. What a lifesaver that is, we’ve ran out of the house without the ping meter several times.

  • Nicole says:

In order to qualify for the meter, I said I was recently diagnosed with diabetes and using insulin. Not saying you actually have to have these things but in order to get the meter for free that’s what I needed to state to get the meter.

This site worked better for me too: https://www.onetouchgold.com/simplestart/
No annoying offers to click through.
