    Great week at CVS! Woot!

  2. heather jennett

Could someone please remind me what SS and PG stand for? Thank you!

    • Melissa R.

its short for the inserts in the Sunday paper –
      SS = Smart Source
      PG = Proctor & Gamble
      RP = Red Plum

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

SS-smart sourse P.G. for procter and gambol

  3. Melissa R.

just fyi, the $1 U by Kotex IP thats on the CVS website is a STORE coupon, so you can combine it with the manf cpn for $2 MM!!

    • Katie F

My CVS did not allow a stack, FYI. The checker said “only 1 coupon per item”. Oh well…

      • Jackie Churchville

My CVS did…infact I used 3 coupons. One off the CVS website, one manufacturers coupon and then one out of the magic box at cvs….$3.50 off total (thanks CVS for the money and the free product)!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

for some reason I cannot get the Kotex coupon to show up…

  4. Rebekah

will the purex deal work….the add says liquid?

    • Rebekah

never mind i was looking at the wrong spot

  5. Craig

Hey here is a great question for all you CVS fans:

If you bought items, and used your ECBs, so no money outta your pocket or so, and you wanted to return the items, (no coupons and it had a MIR but I allready did it come to find out, uugh) Will they give you cash back or credit in the form of the ECB again?

I dont care what happpends, but would like to know if anybody tried to return an item(s) when they used ECBs to pay for them.

    • Sarah

I have returned items at my CVS without a receipt and they gave me the full value of the item on a CVS money card. They have also returned items with a receipt that I used ECB’s to pay with and had almost no OOP and they returned the full value on a CVS money card in those cases too.

      • katie

I’ve returned things and they will only return the amount in cash that I paid. For example, I returned some deodorant, and all I paid oop was the tax, so that was all that I received back.

        • toph

their supposed to give a cvs money card. i would call corporate

          • katie

Well, that’s good to know now! I’ll remember that from now on! 🙂

      • Craig

Thanks for all the replies! Good to know. I picked up some of the shampoo that was BOGO free. Loove the stuff, smells like coconuts, but w/o q and w/o able to do the MIR legally, It really isnt that good of a deal when we normally pay………sqwat for these products! LOL

  6. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    $1 u by kotex cvs store coupon @ cvs.com

    4.99
    – $1 mfg
    – $1 store q
    = 2.99
    $2 MM

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Save you ink, it was in the sunday paper!

      • Rebekah

thank you i had used all mine from the paper when they were free at walgreens with the Q

      • Christy

Thanks a bunch for that link! 🙂

  7. Margie

I got a coupon off of the scanner about a week ago for $3.00 off 2 bags of M&M’s…that would make the m&m’s deal even better! 🙂 yum!!

    • Dawn

i got that coupon too, but it expired already. darn.

      • Aimee

I got this coupon when I went today!

      • Ada - Lovin Him

My M&M coupon expired a few days ago but I just used it with no problem. If you go to:
https://www.iheartcvs.com/2008/12/cvs-coupon-guide.html She explains the various coupon policies at CVS and some of the CRT coupons are valid for 2 weeks past the expiration date – the last two that print from the machine each day – I’m not sure how you know which those are unless you regularly check her website where she gives that info. In any case – I always try them and usually they don’t beep if there within 2 weeks of expiry.
Her’s the info on the daily coupons:
        daily “crt” coupons
        from price scanner/coupon printer
these are the last 2 crt’s to print and print for everyone, everyday.
once these print, you will not receive any more crt’s from the scanner for the day.

        * work only on the Card for which they were issued
        * limited to one coupon of the same first 5 digits (of the 9-digit code) per transaction
        * if used in a transaction that is then voided (so you get CRT back), next time you use it will beep “not valid for card scanned” even though it is for the right EC card.
        * will not beep as expired for 30(or 21?) days from expiration date printed or expire when a new 9-digit code for the same product type begins issuing. (some stores will accept them during these 30/21 days, others will not.)

Did anyone get the Huggies $2.00 off in the 5/2 SS? It wasn’t in my SS and I couldn’t find it in the coupon database and I really need diapers! I’m hoping it’s elsewhere and I’m missing it.

    • Elaine

I didn’t get the Huggies or the Bayer Meter coupons for the great moneymaker.
      I am so bummed.

    • Ashly D.

Coupon Database? What is that? I’m missing out on something big! HELP I want to know!

      • Margie

A coupon database (I use Hotcouponworld.com) shows a list of every coupon you can get whether it’s a print out, a store coupon, an insert coupon, etc. It also tells you when it expires and where you can get it from. Just a good resource if you’re looking for a coupon or aren’t sure if there’s one available from a site/insert.

        • angela

I didn’t get the $2 huggies coupon, just the $1.50/1. Still a very good deal! 🙂

    • Christy

Nope, didn’t get it in Indiana either …. I REALLY wanted to get that deal too. Darn!

  9. wab2327

Super excited about CVS specials listed above…. gonna have to make up my shopping list later tonight

  10. Cecilia Reed

I am new to CVS and I wanted to know if you buy several items that would generate ecb…can you do it in one transaction and get all the ecb coupons or it has to be like catalina coupons and be done one at the time? Thanks☺

    • Virginia

Yes you can do them all in one transaction.

Sometimes to keep my out of pocket lower I do two transactions and use the ECBS from the first trasaction on the 2nd. You can do as many or as few as you want though and will still get your ecbs up to the limit specified for the offer. Like right guard this week the limit is 2 so you will only get ECBs for 2. If you buy more right guard you would not get ecbs for those. Hope that makes sense.

      • Cecilia Reed

        Thank you very much!!!

  11. Virginia

Great deals at CVS this week! I ordered 20 of the 1/1 carefree Q’s because I got a 5 off of 40 cvs Q and need to help get my total up. Just hope I can find 20 packs of the 10/10 liners.

I also got the 3/2 M & M’s CVS Q out of the coupon machine so excited to get 3 bags for $1!

  12. Kersy

    Coffee and chocolate… yeah baby!!!

    • katie

The coupon says the bag must be 4/5 oz or larger, while the ad says the ones on sale are 3-3.5 oz, so I don’t think it would work.

  13. Becky

I love that on Sat. afternoon/evenings my CVS has 2 weeks of specials going. Great savings for me today…

  14. Ginger

What zip code are you using to get the $3/2 on the Right Guard? Mine is only $1.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      I only see the $1 too….

      • Allison

i Used zip 77084 to get the 3 off. it should be under personal care but it looks like the link is down right now.

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I had $1/1 & $3/2. I always use zip 90210, that seems to have most of the coupons.

  15. Christine

If you scan an item on the red coupon scanner will it tell you if its eligible for ECB’s?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

NO it will only give you the sale price.

  16. Margie

    Ashly,

(somehow I submitted this comment before and it didn’t show up, so I’ll try again). A coupon database (I use Hotcouponworld.com, but there are more databases) tells you every coupon that’s out there, whether it’s a store coupon, from an insert, a printable, etc. It tells you where to get it from, when it expired, how much the coupon is for, etc. So it’s a good place to go if you’re interested in buying a product and you don’t know if there’s a coupon for it. Or you know there is a coupon out there, you just don’t remember what insert it’s from. Hope this helps!

    • Ashly D.

Thank you! That ROCKS!! You just helped me so much! No one does great matchups for the stores near me (MA) and I spend forever doing it!

  17. Margie

**I’m just seeing if I can leave a comment, I keep trying to answer Ashly’s comment, and my response isn’t showing on the site** This is like a “test comment.” 🙂

  18. Margie

Hmm…I just can’t reply to Ashly’s comment for some reason, so Ashly – here’s the answer to your question!

    Ashly,

(somehow I submitted this comment before and it didn’t show up, so I’ll try again for the third time:) ).

  19. Renee

So I just did the Right Guard deal (my CVS starts sale prices at 6pm on Sat!) and I saw that the limit was 2 for the deal. I did 2 deals, but only $4 printed. I think the deal may actually be limit 1, if not I’m going back tomorrow to get the rest of my ECBs!

    Anyone else had this problem?

    • Allison

I think limit 2 means you an only buy 2 right guards and use the 3 dollars off and get back 4 ecb…not that you can do the deal twice.

      • Rebekah

correct you are only going to ECB’s for 2 deodrants

  20. Renee

Nevermind on my Right Guard question – I did two sets of the above deal…and misunderstood that it was limit 2 of the above deal, when it’s really limit 2 deodorant. This is why I shouldn’t shop when I’m exhausted from my day! 😉

  21. kelli

The Right Guard is actually on sale for $2.99, not $2.49 (unless that’s the price in select markets). I did the deal today, bought 2 @ $2.99, had 2 $1.50/1 Q’s, paid, $2.98, got $4.00 ECB back ($1.00 MM)

    • redheads rock

It was $2.69 in our market.

  22. Victoria McKinnon

Does anyone have a zip code that I can use for the Huggies coupon. When I use mine, smart source doesn’t have it and it wasn’t in my regular adds. I have two grandchildren on the way and i’m trying to stock the kids up! Thanks!

  23. Shelly T.

I have a question. I was at CVS tonight and they had the Coffee-mate 7 count stick packets 10/$10. I had two BOGO Free coupons. My intent was to purchase four, and use two of the BOGO coupons. The manager told me that I could only use ONE coupon, and pointed to the bottom of the coupon where it says, “Limit one coupon per specified item(s) purchased.” So I had him take off two of the Coffee-mates off. Okay, my question is this the same as “one coupon per purchase” or “one coupon per transaction”? I was also doing the Nivea deal. I had one BOGO free coupon, and two $4.00/1 coupons. I was purchasing 3 Nivea body washes and he would only let me use ONE of the $4.00 off coupons. I have never had any problems before at CVS with coupons, or with this manager. Just wondering if it was a new policy or just with this store/manager??

    • Rebekah

i think it just may be bad luck 🙂 i did the deal with BOGO Q and the $4.00 Q with no problem

What to watch out for. I just got back from CVS and what a headache. The Bayer Breeze 2 or Contour Monitoring system $19.99 = $15 Ecb (limit 1) is printing a $5 Ecb not the $15. I need to go back and speak to a manager to see what can be done. Look carefully at your receipt before you leave the store.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Mine did that too yesterday. It prints out on the receipt where the limits show though as purchasing 1 and getting $15 back. They just manually entered the $10 for me and instead of getting a $15 ECB, I got a $5 and a $10 which actually works out better!!!

      • Sandra

That happened to me today as well. The Bayer Breeze only generated a $5 ECB so the manager manually printed up another $10.00 ECB for me no problem.

    • Jackie Densmore

Same thing happened to me! Ii haven’t gone back yet to straighten things out yet – have you?

      • Jackie Densmore

        Oops – sorry – didn’t keep reading 🙂

    • Andrea

The same thing happened to me this morning. The manager ended up printing an additional $10 ECB for me. I’m SO glad I caught it while I was still at the store!

      • Jessica

mine printed the $15 ECB just fine, but when I went to spend it later, it rang up as $2 off instead of $15! i’ve never had that happen before. watch those registers!!

  25. Erin

i don’t think the pedialyte BOGO is up anymore…

  26. Lisa

I was at CVS this morning and couldn’t find the The Bayer Breeze 2 or Contour Monitoring system $19.99 = $15 Ecb (limit 1). I was looking in the diabetes care section. Is this right? What aisle is it in? TIA

    • Melissa R.

The store I shop at frequently, all of the monitors are located by the pharmacy, on the shelf next to where you drop off RX’s. Try around there, or ask the pharmacist, sometimes they keep a few behind the counter.

For the Poise pads, the same link that Collin has for the CVS store coupon for the U by Kotex, also has a CVS store coupon for $1.50 off any package of Poise. Combined with the $2 Poise/Depends coupon in Collin’s other link, this would bring the total cost down to 2/$2 or $1 each! Both sets of coupons can be printed twice.

  28. Craig

Nooo, $10 Bayer q here. Uugh. Musta been reg. again. Anybody know if this is online anywhere? Oh well.

  29. Torrey

I got the Bayer Breeze 2 this morning and instead of getting a $15.00 ECBs I got a $5.00. I tried calling but the office hours are Monday through Sat. Did anyone else have this problem?

  30. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I got the Bayer Breeze 2 as well. I only got a $5 ecb and showed the cashier the ad right after I paid for everything. She made the computer print out a $10 ecb. If you have trouble, just show the manager the ad, your receipt, and the ecb you received. Someone should be able to fix it.

  31. kelly

can’t find the clearasil coupon? did anyone else?

  32. Melissa S.

The carefree pads were not 10/$10 at my CVS, only the CVS brand was $10 for 10. Ah well, I’ll get them at Target Thursday for Free.

  33. Ashleigh

I bought the blood pressure ‘thingy’ too and only received a $5 ECB. I came back to the store and they said that there was an error in the system and they immediately issued me with an addition $10 ECB without any problems.

  34. Amalia

I’m in So. Cali and only $5 ECB’s printed for the Bayer deal. The manager manually punched in the register to give me another $10. So if any of you are planning to do the deal, just have the ad in hand and be prepared for the $5 ECB, then whip out the ad for them to give you the additional $10 ECB. I usually shy away from these kind of glitches but with this kind of money maker, it was worth it. Plus CVS cashiers/managers don’t seem to have a problem “pushing through” ECB’s, especially when it’s black & white in the ad. Thanks Collin!

help, cant get the cvs store coupon for u by kotex….anyone know the zip for this?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I can’t find it, either. Maybe it was pulled.

      • Rachel

        I can’t find it either.

    • Christy

I was able to print it once yesterday, but now it’s completely gone.

    • Samantha

      I can’t find it, either. =(

      • couponlovingmommy

fyi if you ordered a free sample of U by kotex there are $1 coupons in there! 🙂

  36. fairydust

I had the Crest mouthwash 75-cent coupon from the latest P&G insert, but it was for a larger size bottle than the 250ml ones in the CVS ECB sale. I got two of those smaller bottles anyway and received my $7ECB back, but I couldn’t use the coupon to make it a moneymaker.

  37. Kim

The Veet coupon here has a higher than normal print limit. It let me print 3 instead of 2.

  38. Tracy Y.

Got the Contour monitor and it only gave me back $5 ECB’s – I told the cashier and showed her the ad – she gave me $10 more manually….sounds like its a problem at all CVS stores right now, so if you buy one, make sure you get your full $15!

  39. Bobby

I’m a cashier at CVS and this problem with the Bayer Monitor has been a thorn in my side for the last two days! I’ve been issuing $15 ECBs manually in addition to the $5 that printed just as a courtesy. CVS is really emphasizing customer service like crazy now so when it comes to coupons we really are supposed to go the extra mile for the customer.

  40. couponlovingmommy

the raisin bran print limit is saying it has been reached

  41. Jessica

The Breeze 2 meter I got this morning has a MIR for the purchase price up to $40! Woo hoo!

    • MoKeaton

Now that’s a MONEY MAKER! Thanks for posting. I will be looking for that one!

  42. MoKeaton

The Kiosk printed me a $3 off any $15.00 Facial Skin care purchase, which would make the ROC just .50cents each, if I can find it in the store!

  43. Maria H

So i have a question? If I get the Schick razor for free with coupons and ECB. Then can i also get the cartridge and get the ECB on those. My recipet says that i have reached my limit but I didnt. I am new to this couponing thing so i would like to know.

  44. Kristina

Country Fresh Milk is $2.49. You can buy one and receive an extra care buck. Then there’s a $.55 coupon from the paper that expires 5/31. (I’m not sure which insert this was from..) That makes your gallon of milk $1.04 after your extra buck! Yay! This is great for mothers of toddlers who drink lots of milk!

  45. Jojo

I bought 2 veet and a clearasil product today. Each veet was 6.49 and the clearasil was 3.99 bringing my total to around $17. but my ecb didnt print…

    • Sarah

same here. 🙁 I just highlighted my reciept and am planning to go back in a couple hours to see what I can find out 🙁
