Wysong isn’t a new brand. It has been available through Pet Specialty stores for years. Pet Supplies “Plus” carries it.

This is just a new line by a very old brand–arguably the “grand daddy” of super-premium dog foods. Wysong was actually one of the FIRST companies to make super-premium pet foods, back when there were very few companies doing it — it’s decades old. It’s owned by a holistic veterinarian. As I recall, they invented the method of enrobing kibble in probiotics, which many of the “good” brands now do. They also for a long time had the “honor” of making one of the most expensive pet foods in America per pound (around $15/pound, as I recall) — “Archetype,” which was mostly freeze-dried meat (including organ meat), and when reconstituted would get even very sick and frail dogs who had no appetite to eat. I used to be able to order Wysong products online from Petco, but it’s very hard to find in stores around where I live. They’re pretty innovative, so whatever this sample turns out to be is likely to be pretty unique.

I agree with what everyone has said. It is not new, maybe a new formula. You can find it in smaller specialty stores and Pet Supplies Plus. You will never find it in a supermarket, so no big coupon deals. I have money on my groceries, so my dogs can eat better!
