I don’t care to mess with rebates. I like the savings to be immediate and not hassle with tracking a rebate.

    • where's the deal says:

You should try them. I never did them either, but now that I coupon and keep all my receipts etc it is so easy. Now I have checks coming in the mail every single week! It helps to pay for extra coupons I didn’t get in my inserts etc.

    • Mary Beth says:

I agree with “Where’s the Deal” — last year I did rebates for the first time in many years, and I tracked them. Altogether I received over $300 back in rebates for loads of free-after-rebate items. It wasn’t very time consuming, and I kept copies of the receipts/rebates scanned into my computer instead of using paper. When I think how far I’ll go to use a $1 coupon, making that extra money is worth it!

      • Brandy says:

I don’t think it is any more time consuming or a hassle than checking blogs/sites (like this one)., printing the coupons I like, clipping said coupon and then going to the store and using said coupons.

  • Bonnie says:

I did this last week. We go through a lot of cheese in our house so this is very helpful. Thanks for the info that you can do it 5 times, I didn’t see that!

  • Valerie says:

Dominicks sells these. Where can I find the rebate?

  • HILARY says:

I already figured out this deal, and did it! My kids love cheese, and it’s a great snack! Plus, free….who can beat that?!?!

  • Valerie says:

nevermind, I see it’s taped on the front of the package…. duh, sorry

  • couponlovingmommy says:

I don’t love rebates but I’ll definitely do them if the savings are high enough. Cheese is one of the more expensive things on my grocery lists, so I’ll be looking for those $5 rebate stickers!!!

  • Elaine says:

We have this cheese here on the west coast same label and all under the name of Precious Cheese. I’ve already done it twice and will do some more for sure.

  • Dianne says:

Our Publix & Target both carry them with the rebates on them. I’m in Florida though.

    • Vickie says:

Hi…I am in south florida and did the deal twice already at Publix for this weeks sale…last time in I didn’t see anymore rebates or would have done it again. Hopefully they will get more in since the cheese is on sale 2 for $4…ends today. Can’t beat that…its a money maker for me with publix this week… :)

  • MoKeaton says:

No Sorrento sold in my area, go figure! :(

  • Stephanie says:

I saw these rebates at Safeway in MD over the weekend, but I’m horrible with mail-in rebates, so I didn’t bother.

  • Gwen says:

Our store had these on sale 2/$6 a few weeks ago. I only had 1 coupon so I grabbed them and submitted the rebate. Then I got 2 more coupons, but the stores were sold out when I went back for more!

  • Sophie says:

I got these at my Publix. They were on sale 2 for $6 and I used two $2 off coupons from the sunday newspaper. So w/ the rebate it comes out to $3 moneymaker!

  • Tallymomma says:

Does anyone know if they take copied receipts?

  • Mary S. says:

These are priced at $2.99 a pack at my local store. I have already submitted for my first rebate. With the coupon I was already able to get 2 packs for under $3 which is a great deal on cheese even if the rebate takes forever to come.

  • Grace says:

I did this rebate like a month ago and got the $5 check back really fast (prob. a week after I sent it in). BUT I did not see that you can do it 5 TIMES! ….More free snack!

    • fairydust says:

Interesting – I’ve done three of these now, starting a few weeks ago, and have yet to receive any of the rebates back. I’m hoping it’s because they’re really busy processing everything and there won’t be any problems :)

  • Marci says:

I have the $2 off coupons. I guess that I will now be on the hunt for the rebates!

  • Lisa says:

Found the rebate on packages at Wal-Mart.

  • SAHMinCambridge says:

Rebates do take some discipline, but I’ve been regularly trying to do more over the past months and WOW..I’ve really seen my savings double and sometimes triple. It really is worth it if you start doing at least 2-3 a month. A couple days ago I got 4 separate checks in the mail on the same day, each between $5-$15 dollars, so in a way I’m rolling that money into more rebates and it’s not like money straight OOP. I use www dot rebatetracker dot com to keep track of what I’ve submitted. Try it a couple times, it’s a great feeling when you get your money back!

  • Janet T says:

Picked these up at Walmart here in Maine last night. Had the $3/2 coupon and I think they were priced at $3.64 each, so definitely a money maker with a coupon. I didn’t know you could do it 5 times! Will definitely watch for more coupons! :)

  • Amy F says:

I was so excited when I saw the rebate in stores. I’ve submitted twice. So I can do it 3 more times! Yay! Free Cheese! We are a cheese loving household so free cheese is a huge plus!

  • Tina in VA says:

At our local supermarket, Martins Foods, these were on sale 2/$5 about a week ago. I had the two $1 coupons, so got two for $3… after the rebate it’s a $2 moneymaker! Whoo-hoo! A note about rebates – yes, it’s a bit of a hassle, but I find I nearly forget about them and then one day I get these little checks in the mail: such a fun surprise!

  • Kara says:

Precious Cheese sticks have almost the exact same rebate on them, I’ve done one already and plan to do a couple more!

  • Jaime says:

These are on Advantage Buy at my Publix this month for 2/$6 I think. I bought two yesterdaty w/ Q’s and can’t wait to submit for the rebate. I’ll do it as many times as I can – cheese snacks freeze very well! :D

  • Dawn says:

Picked these up at Giant last night, got 2 packs of string cheese, one was priced at $3.95, the other at $4.00, used the $3/2 coupon so I paid $4.95, mailing in rebate today for $5.00, 2 packs of free string cheese for my kids. What a great healthy snack

  • lightheart7200 says:

I did not get any Sorrento coupons in my SS out here in NE Ohio. ):

  • Melissa says:

I was on vacation in MS last week and saw the rebate. I even took the time to send it in while on vacation. The likelihood of the receipt, UPCs and rebate form all making it home seemed unlikely.

Excite to know I can use it 4 more times. Now to see if I can find it in MI.

  • Shannon says:

I just went to Walmart today and I got 2 of the 24 pk for $10.24. I used the $3.00 off coupon and I Get back $5.00 for the Rebate. AWESOME!!! ALL my kids love these.

  • Kathy McKellar says:

Yep, I got mine and already mailed off my rebate…love these kind of deals:)

  • Susan says:

I already submitted one and hadn’t noticed that you’re allowed more than one per household. Thanks for the tip

  • Melanie says:

I’ve read the rebate form and can’t find out if you must purchase them in one grocery trip. Does anyone know, can you submit two receipts for one rebate?

  • dara says:

I found these at the commissary for 3.19 witht he $5 rebate stickies on them. I got them for free with the coupon and rebate plus overage!!! =)

  • Olivia Smith says:

Awesome, love it! I will for sure keep my eyes peeled for more rebates!

  • Christina says:

did this deal at walmart (rebate peelies were attached to the item) and used my $3/2 coupon! Great deal!!!

  • Alaine says:

I found these on sale 2/$7 at Shaw’s in Saugus, MA… minus the $3 coupon and $5 rebate, a nice little moneymaker! and on CHEESE! Very excited to find this rebate!

  • Jodi says:

Got these at Shoprite 3.99 each. Sent away my rebate today. Thanks for letting us know we can do it 5 times!

  • Lisa says:

it was on mine at Publix last week!!

  • Linda says:

Publix has it 2/6.00 found a 1.00 peelie on it so 2/5.00 plus rebate= Free not including postage

  • amber says:

Lost in Illinois. Does anyone know if where these are sold in Illinois…I did product search and Sorrento supposedly isn’t sold within 50 miles of where I live (NOT Walmart, Target etc…).

  • Piper says:

Heads Up!!! Publix has an advantage buy sale on the chedder version of the stringsters good until June 4th and they are on 2 for $6, use two $2 off coupons from the paper insert and they cost $1 each, after the mail in rebate that is free cheese per 2 product rebate with a $3 money maker profit!!!! So up to 5 times means ten 10 oz. packages of cheese (which equals 100 oz. or 6.25 lbs if you will) of free cheese, plus you get $15 smackaroos!!!! Woot woot. I found that deal about last week when shopping with my cheese coupons, and then I was totally stoked. Have fun peeps!!
