I’ve heard reports from quite a few readers and bloggers that Listerine Whitening is on the clearance for $1.98 at Target. Plus, you can use the $$2/1 coupon from here (use zip code 01364) to get this for FREE. I’ve also heard that the coupon doesn’t even beep!

…AND you can sweeten this deal even further by submitting for the rebate offer that is advertised in the June 2010 issue of InStyle magazine (+ other magazines): purchase ANY Listerine Whitening or Rembrandt product and receive a free $10 prepaid debit card!

Just mail original receipt with the product UPC code circled, and name and address, to:

“Dare to Wear” Gift
PO Box 4938
New York, NY 10185

**Allow 4-6 weeks for shipping. While supplies last, one per household. Purchase of a qualifying product must be made between 5/21/10 and 6/17/10, received by 7/1/10.

After you receive the $10 prepaid card, you’ll have turned purchasing Listerine into a $10 moneymaker!! How awesome is that?!

I just got off the phone with Listerine (Johnson & Johnson) at the 800-223-0182 number and, like the person above, they offered me a “generous” (their word) $6 coupon also. I told them that wouldn’t cover the price of the product, that they needed to do more for me. They offered me a $6 coupon and a $4 check. I told them that I didn’t plan on using the product again because of the way the rebate was handled. They said, “Well, the rebate form said that supplies were limited.” I advised them there was no rebate form and limited supplies could have meant 2 cards total! They put me on hold for a long time (around 15 minutes) and came back saying that if I provided them with UPC info/lot # and expiration, they could see what they could do. I told her that I’d sent the UPC with the rebate information, and the other information was printed under the UPC. (Sounds like they didn’t know the terms of the rebate, huh?) Anyway, luckily I had made a copy of the information I’d sent in so I was able to provide what they wanted. They are sending me a $10 check!!! I guess you just have to push a little.
