Rita@Chi-Town Cheapskate says:
Might have to run out and check this one out…..good addition to the “gift closet”
Agnes says:
I was just gonna say it there “a coupon” for more closet space… Im seriously in trouble and the deals are keep on coming…
Janelle says:
It is so sad that I want to run right out to wags, just to see if they have them! I think I need help, LOL Happy shopping!!
Julie says:
I did see this at CVS today, but just glanced–didn’t even realize that it was the same razor I bought! Not sure on the price though. If anyone gets it at CVS, let us know!
Holly says:
My CVS only had the sets out for sale so I tried it…they worked!!! Only ten dollars with the 5 dollar EBC!
momwhocares says:
I belive I saw them and they were priced at $19.99 for the set. Maybe I read wrong! Darn!
MELISSA says:
Just ran to walgreens…They had the set..it was marked $12.99 but had them do a price check, rang up at $9.89..used the $4 off coupon and got a $5 RR….Great set for $.89!!!! Perfect for Fathers Day or for Stocking Stuffers later this year!!!
THANK YOU
L. Hadsall says:
that drives me crazy because I asked the girl to price check it for me and she looked like i was crazy and told me that they were priced at $12.99 just like the tag said. I should have been more forceful but I am a non confrontational person and I just went about my day and just bought the razors by themselves
Shelly T. says:
Thanks for the heads up, will check it out!
Andrea says:
My store – Pleasant Grove, Utah has these sets. They are marked $12.99 but when price checked they are $9.98. WaHoo .98 Razor SETS.
Amanda says:
SAME HERE! Awesome deal! The cashier grabbed a paper and was going to do the same later on…
Angie says:
I got something similar. It had the razor, one cartridge, a cooling lotion, face and body scrub and was behind the regular razors on the shelf. Awesome deal!!
Michelle F says:
Just want to let you know that the RR is rolling. You can pay for the razor with the RR and get another RR back! Try it out before it stops, im in JERSEY!
DEREK says:
I got one of this exact item this morning at CVS. They were marked at 12.99 (at my store in Maryland) but I price checked and it came up 9.99 like the regular razors–ECB printed out for $5 so I got the gift set for $0.99, so basically the same deal as Walgreens!
fran says:
Derek, thanks for posting this. I’d much rather get it at CVS…at least we have a month to use the ECB, instead of 2 weeks with the RR.
Romy says:
i found them and tried this at my walgreen’s today but the coupon beeped. the cashier wouldn’t accept it (i think she would have adjusted it if there hadn’t been a line building up behind me), so i had her remove it from my purchase. i’m gonna try it at CVS this week though! thanks so much for the heads up – that’s a great deal!
Natalie Doman says:
I found the only one left at my Walgreens just a little while ago! Like others, mine was marked higher priced then it actually rang up. I had no coupon beepage or problems at all using the $4/1 Fusion coupon on the gift set. Yay $15-20 item for .89 cents!
Heidi R says:
Got 2 kits tonight in separate transactions. Price is $9.89. Used the $4 coupon (no beeps) and got back a $5 RR. I just read that it was rolling. I did not try that tonight, but I will tomorrow.
Anne says:
I ran out for this deal, it isn’t marked at my Walgreens, but it rang up as you stated on this deal. Thanks for posting, I bought 2 and my mom got one for my uncle. Root Awakening was a good deal too, $5 each and wyb 3 you get $5 RR. I used the $3 coupon that was in the 6/6 insert so it ended up being $1 after RR and coupons for 3 products.
Sandra says:
Just got the gift set in MI. Bought two sets – two transactions. Used the $4 Fusion coupons on each and rolled the $5 from first transaction into the second after adding a .39 candy as a filler item.
So still rolling as of 9:30 p.m. ET. Not sure how long the rolling will last so get it while it’s hot!!
Jennifer says:
ah I wish I knew it was rolling! I hate paying with “real” money but this deal was too good to pass!
Sophie says:
I didn’t try to roll it since I had 4 $5 RR I needed to use, but the sets were also marked $12.99 but rung up at $9.89 in the Five Mile and Overland store in Boise!
Kendra B says:
Looks nice. I’ll be looking. I was so mad at WAGS earlier. They were out of the Neutrogena bars and John Frieda shampoo. I got the conditioner and I will exchange it later. Had to roll some RR so I settled for that.
Julie Ann says:
YES! It is rolling!!!!!!!!!!! Just got back and I got 2 > sending them to the soldiers overseas
Cathy says:
Awww, thats so sweet.
MoKeaton says:
They didn’t even have the new razor, let alone this preview set at my Walgreens.
Joe says:
The blades will be over $20 for a 3 pack if the other Fusion prices hold (doubtful). As a guy, the 1st two shaves WAS smoother, but afterwards there was a decline in performance to bring it on par with my Sensor Excel. I even tried shaving with the Sensor and then shaving over with the ProGlide to see if there was any significant clippings caught, but there wasn’t. I got only a few more clippings over all. Not anything that maybe another pass of the Excel wouldn’t have gotten.
Certainly not a razor to spend $20 on a refill. I like the heft of my Sensor Excel, but the refills are themselves over $10 for a 5 pack. I just buy the disposable ones, remove the shaver head and put it on the original razor body, and for under $6 (usually less with coupons), I get my old razor and performance back.
Anna says:
nice to know, thanks!
Mary says:
Does the set have the extra cartridge in it?
Angela W says:
No, it doesn’t have the extra cartridge. It’s the power razor, not the manual one that comes with the extra cartridge.
Rebecca says:
I got one today! THank You!
Deeds says:
In Kansas City, it is marked at 12.99 and rang up at $12.99……..bummer!!
marneejewel says:
It rang up at 12.99 for me too and I was told it would not give the register rewards either, darn. Still a great deal for the razor.
Stephanie says:
I was able to do this deal as well. It rang up for $9.89, although it was tagged at $12.99. I used the RRs from the kellogs deals this week and used the bagged candy at $.39 as filler to avoid beeps. I was able to roll the transaction with the RRs and bought 4 sets. I did use one bag of candy for each transaction because I get nervous when it beeps at me! The cosmetics lady told me that this deal on the kit would be good all month long and that she would be ordering more for my store.
Lisa says:
Got it! I’m in Grand Prairie, TX & they gave the $5 RR which I tried to use to buy the 2nd razor & use the $4 coupon but the cashier said it was 2 manufacturer’s coupon & they didn’t let me use it, so I only got to use the $4 off. Still a good deal!
melissa says:
Was marked 12.99, but I had the cashier check it and it was on sale, got the RR also using the coupon without any problems. (San Antonio)
Sabrena says:
What does rolling mean? Sorry I am new to this.
Lisa says:
Rolling means that you use RRs (Register Rewards) to pay for another transaction that will generate RRs in order to keep using them to pay for items and get RRs with a later expiration date. The only thing is USUALLY at Walgreens if you pay for a transaction with an RR from the same manufacturer, it will not print a new one. CVS is not like that. WAY easier to roll ECBs at CVS than RRs at Walgreens.
HTH!
pam says:
i can not believe it. i actually got this deal. this never happens to me!! super excited.
Carol says:
It’s $12.99 in Thornton Colorado too–nasty manager, didn’t buy.
bb says:
This deal is no longer rolling!
Cathy says:
Same in decatur, al. stopped rolling today.
Lisa says:
Thank you so much for posting. I checked here first b/c I was going to try it today.
Looks like I missed out. Oh, well!
kceldridge says:
Thanks for sharing. I didn’t check the blog before I went out and decided not to roll it. I glad I didn’t! I just need the Neutrogena bars to be available so I can roll the Ectorin into a larger RR. RR can be tricky. Good tip about CVS!
