The $10 RR has been going for a while now and the same neutrogena products are also on sale for 25% off this week – starting today! I actually use the $1.50 off coupons from the May2010 Dominick’s (safeway) in store coupon booklet (says $25 in savings on the front) Those are good on ANY neutrogena product, unlike the June booklet (limited to suncare).
I think the prices you quoted were the SALE prices, just so noone gets confused…

None of the Walgreens in the NW area of IN have had the Neutrogena soap for weeks. Our managers would not order them – I’ve inquired about sale products before that weren’t available, and the managers just tell your they didn’t get them in – or like a few weeks ago for the “Ironman” spray. The manager said they only had 2 cans the entire week. He would give me a rain check for the sale price but the RR wouldn’t print.
Regional coupons make me so sad… my stores have had the soap in stock, so I was so excited… but, no coupon 🙁

Just wanted to point out that the Neutrogena coupons clearly state “Limit one per purchase AND one coupon per customer”. Very different than what we usually see, but your cashier can say you can only use one coupon if they read it.
I went to 2 different stores & they were all out of the bars. Hoping they will restock or can get rainchecks.

My Walgreens only had ONE bar of soap this morning! I guess that’s better then the ZERO they had for the last few weeks.
Here is something else i found, Neutrogena is offering a $10 rebate when you purchase $30 worth of moisturizers up to July 4th. Here is the link: http://www.neutrogena.com/rebate ( I am assuming you can purchase them in multiple transactions?)
They are $3.19 at my Walgreens but I’ve been buying them all month long and they haven’t been out of stock yet. The Gillette, Old Spice, Crest Strips and John Frieda are another story…
I tried this deal when it first started and I too used the Safeway coupons for in the May 2010 book for $1.50 off for a N Product and no RR printed – manager told me it wouldn’t print when I used coupons so I returned the order for my money back. Is anyone else experiencing this at Walgreens?
It should still print unless you used another of the same rr to buy it. Make sure the machine was on. I would have asked him to try ringing it up without the coupons just to see if the rr printed.
i got 2 soaps and a hand cream got no RR but the manager gave printed me a RR anyway??
I’ve never used RR from Wags before. I was going to get the ball rolling w/ the Neutrogena soap deal but none of the stores had the soap today. Cosmetics clerk said they get a truck in on Wednesdays so I’m going to check back but my inclination is they won’t have any then either. I’ve never had trouble finding the “Extra Care Buck” items at CVS.
I bought 3 soaps and got $10 from catalina. My cashier knows most of the deals and will give away her own coupons to help people.
She was surprised on this one.
i know i could do better, but got some decent deals at walgreens: 3 frizz ease john freida shampoos, 1 root awakening shampoo (all they had) and 2 root awakening detangler sprays, 2 neutrogena deep clean cream washes, 1 neutrogena cooling sun block spray, 1 neutrogena bar (all they had, and better than zero), and 2 neutrogena acne face washes, 2 proglide razors and 7 bags of butterfinger bite things….used these as fillers and also the promo item the cashiers get credit for…only .39 each. In total I spent 32 out of pocket and have 20 in Register rewards back.

In two transactions, I bought the last four soaps in the store plus two moisturizing chapsticks. Used 4 $1/1 facial cleanser coupons and 2 $1/1 suncare products since the chapsticks are marked SPF15. Told the clerk about the Neutrogena sale deal – she had no idea! Advised her to order more soaps! Found the two stores in my area that had the bar soap in stock by going to walgreens.com. Turns out they show if the product is in stock in stores in your zip code! Very handy!
