Wow, what a promotion! (insert sarcasm) One store in my state and I have never heard of it. I’ll be buying my ink like everyone else.
Heads up, I think this Ace Hardware ink thing is a scam by Ace, false advertisement on their part. The very last time they did this, I drove way far out of my way into another town just for the free refill, and the girl took my cartridge, barely looked at it, and said, “hmm, I don’t think we do these kind” then she called some douche bag guy over there who also worked there and he took the cartridge, barely looked at it, and said, “nope, it’s remanufactured, it won’t fit” That happens to be a line of bullcrap, I happen to know that it will fit, as they are exactly the same size and appearance as the orginal cartridge because I have the empty ones at home, though they told me if I had the originals they would fill those. They are such liars, don’t waste your gas. From the look of some of the above comments, I am not the only one they did this to. If it has ink that fills several, it will fill all, they all fit. I will never go to that Ace again. There is a Walgreens in my area that does the same thing, I have seen them turn away every person when I was there telling them that for some reason it won’t work on their cartridge, with excuses varrying. It burns me up when they lie. Speaking of false advertising, just yesterday I was shopping at Publix, and there were two packages for Scott extra soft tissue in the 4 pack right next to each other, same prize, same sizes, everything, except for one thing, one package stated that 4 mega rolls = 10 regular rolls, and then the other package right next to it stated that 4 mega rolls = 12 regular rolls, and I snapped photos and plan on saying something to scott about it, because it really stinks, no pun intended.
