My WalMart is refusing to take Internet Coupons as of last week. I’ve talked to countless supervisors/managers, tried talking to corporate (absolutely no one would answer my question… I was put on hold half a dozen times, finally, after an hour on the phone, I had to hang up.), and finally was told it is up to the store manager regardless of what the corporate WM coupon policy is.
So, I’m no longer a WM shopper.

Oh, how aggravating–I feel for you. The Krogers in my area seem to be doing this one by one, too. I just hold my breath at checkout. And you’re right–there’s really nothing that can be done. Sure Kroger has a corporate coupon policy, but they stand behind “manager’s discretion,” which I can understand. IPs are a blessing and a curse. They level the playing field for those of us who refuse to purchase coupons since overall I think they tend to be better than those in the inserts, but there’s always the greedy or clueless who photocopy and ruin it for everyone else.

Yes. Blessing and curse. I had problem with my local WG last time. From now on, we need to ask them first before making purchase, making sure they are accepting IP coupons. Otherwise, we’ll waste our time.

Check your Walmart Receipts at the bottom. My Walmart tried to tell me the same thing, but right there on the bottom of the receipt it says they accept internet coupons!

im sorry to say but i went thru the same problem with walmart and was also told the same thing. i had the policy in my hand was also told it was up to the store manager. i went above and beyond that manager and sure enough i can use ALL my coupons now. First of i print in black and white cause im using coupons to save i sure am not goin to spend in ink. lol. you feel me…i even spoke to the district manager, corporate, EVERYBODY till i was heard. only cause i knew i was not going to travel miles to another walmart and the policy states all about coupons so tell me why not accept my coupons cause you said NO i dont think so…..good luk

I tried it for the first time this past weekend and I love it. I haven’t found a mascara that has made my lashes look long, but this one does and they don’t clump together. Give it a try.

I have just been to my local WalMart. Tried to buy the Rimmel eyeshadow…priced $2.47. The clerk took my coupons and disappeared for about 8 minutes and then came back and in her loudest and proudest voice informed me that my coupons were in the “Fraud Book”. She says they should have some yellow dots at the top and have a line in the middle of the barcode. First of all, they won’t have yellow dots, just the outline of dots…because they were printed at home on my laser jet printer. I printed these from the link on this page. So I figure, since WalMart says these coupons from these manufacturers are fraudulent, then we should all complain to these companies so they handle WalMart. I wasn’t going to risk prison for $4!!!

I was just at our Meijers in Ohio and they have 2 of the Rimmel mascaras on sale for $1.64, marked down from 6.99, so with the coupon…………FREE. I bought 2 of them, so I paid $.64 each, not sure how they would deal with the overage.
