I’ve misplaced my CVS card & am waiting for a new one by mail & it’s killing me not being able to stop by CVS regularly & see what the magic coupon machine has in store for me! I hope my new card shows up soon!
I was at CVS when i was on vacation and left my card at the beach house. When I realized it, i asked the cashier if there was an used card laying around so I could use it at the machine. She said I could use one of the cards she had behind the register and for me to hand it back to her when I got my coupons from the machine. It might work if you ask a cashier. Not sure if that was legal or not, but the cashiers do it for me all the time at Food Lion and Pig Wig when I accidently leave my cards in another purse.
I just got back from getting this deal! However they had big signs up saying can not combine with any other offer. So it did not ring up my ecb . But still got two pantene products for 2 dollars not bad!

At my local CVS they also have clearance Pantene products 50% off…so I got just one bottle of Shampoo for $2.49. I did not have a $2 coupon from Parade but had a just a $1 from a mailer. I used that and the $2 magic machine coupon and still made $0.49 … pretty cool. I was not prepared with my coupons ready like normal to go to CVS but thought this was a pretty good ‘spur of the moment’ deal. I also got Bounty Paper towels for $3.97 for 8 rolls. I got a magic machine coupon for $2 off those and they were already on sale for $5.97. I got the 3 bags of the ‘golden emblem’ candy for 0.54 cents each (with a magic machine coupon for $1 off 3 bags)… total spent $2.66 because I had 3 ecbs from 2 weeks ago. Not too bad for no planning :-).
My store has all old packaging 50% off and some of them had peelies for $1 off. No extra coupons from the magic machine for me, but I scored 4 bottles of Pantene for my MIL for $5.50, that’s like BOG 3 free!
Mine was 50% off, too. I got the big 25.4 oz bottles for free using the $2 Parade MQ and the $2 CRT. Wish I’d have waited until next week!
For some reason any time I try to use 2 pantene coupons at CVS, even if I’m buying 2 it peeps and they will only let me use one! I’ve tried twice, same thing happened both times.

I used my CVS coupon on the new travel size pack. It has two travel size items in it. It was $1.99 so it was free! Plus I got a $1 off 3 bags of Gold Emblem candy, the Sour Patch Kids were 24 cent! I got 4 bags and the Pantene for 15 cent!
I have never been to CVS before. Can someone explain this magic machine? Is it there for anyone to use? Do I have to have a CVS card? If I did sign up for a card say tomorrow, will I also be able to use it that day? Thanks for the help!
Valerie, you can sign up for a card and get it right there in the store. Ask for a form when you get to the store, fill it out and get your card. Then scan it at the machine in the front of the store. Then do your shopping. Be sure to give them your card when you check out. Enjoy!

Am I the only person not getting any coupons out of the machine anymore? Every time I scan it tells me that it can’t print. I’m thinking that just means it wont print for me. I do still get them at the bottom of my reciepts, but thats it. 🙁
This was happening to me, too. I found that one of the cvs stores didn’t give me any coupons out of the magic machine. However, when I went to another cvs store on the same day it worked. The first cvs stores machine has not worked in over a month. Alawys says cannot print any coupons at this time.
That machine was probably out of paper! Mention it to a manager.
Our CVS had lots of Pantene products on clearance for 50% off on Sunday. Smaller bottles for around $2.19 & Large bottles for $4. I used the dollar off coupon, now I wish I would have bought 2 and seen if I got ECBs.
Just a little note… I was in CVS the other day and they had the “old style” Pantene on Clearance (as does Publix) yet they also had a $1/1 coupon on them so I was able to get a styler for $1.00. Check it out, they will also make a good deal if you have the Vocal Point coupons.
It printed for me a $2 off Bounty 6-pack or more. Their 8 roll is on sale for $6, so I got 8 rolls of Bounty for $4. Seemed like a good deal to me!!!
The magic machine has not been magical for me lately. All I get are Gold Emblem coupons and $2 off a 6 pack of Bounty and my CVS doesnt even sell a 6 pack. I got good coupons from it the first few months after my store opened, but nothing good the past 2 months.
same for me…until like 4 days ago when I started getting good coupons again! 🙂
Are you sure your Bounty coupon wasn’t for a 6 pack or larger? You can get the 8 packs next week for a really great deal!
The Pantene are on 50% clearance at my CVS. I got a $2 off Pantene coupon from the magic coupon machine plus I had a $1 man. coupon for Pantene. I got one of the smaller bottles that was marked down to $2.49. With the 2 coupons I had a $0.51 moneymaker! 🙂
YEs, our CVS in Michigan has lots of marked down Pantene for $2.49 ! I got the $2.00 off coupon from the magic machine AND also the Gillette Mens bodywash in COOL scent only is $2.49 ! Used my $3.00 off coupon on that ! I LOVE CVS !! 24 packs of bottled water is $1.98 this too ! Stock up.
Woah wait..I almost did that deal. I headed back by the dish soap and they had bottles (the larger ones) 50% off. They ring up as $4.00 and they all had $1.00 peelies. I bought 4 of the shampoo plus conditioners. Yesterday I spent $1.13 saved $79.39 and earned 6 extra care bucks. All in all a wonderful trip! I only spent the $1.00 because I had a period craving for HONEY ROASTED peanuts!
How are you spending only a little over a dollar on almost $80 worth of items?

Well I did my “deal” on the Olay Total Effects BW late this afternoon, using (4) $4 off man q’s and (4) buy Olay BW and get Ivory soap up to $3 each.
Only hitch was that they only had 3 of the packs of Ivory bar soaps for $2.99, so I just went ahead used my 4th coupon on the $1.69 smaller pack.
So I bought 4 Olay Total Effects (regularly $9.49 each) and 4 packs of Ivory bars off soap ($10+), which equaled $50+ including tax.
Somehow, I stll ended up with owing $9.
I used $9 in my ECB’s.
Paid $2. and some change (for tax) OOP.
And got back a $7 ECB.
I’m just happy that it wasn’t any more GILLTTE or OLD SPICE body wash!! GEEZ!!!
I should be smelling nice for a couple weeks to come…(or months?) LOL!
I didn’t get pantene but I did get a $3/2 cvs brand disposable razors. They have .99cent packs in the travel section. I got my 2 but not the overage…still 2 free
Not sure what the deal is…but the Pantene products in my store in CA are not on sale or on clearance. Bummer..just went all ready with my Q’s and no deal. Not sure if the stores are all different for the sales..but usually they are all the same…..bummer!

i got this coupon and used it on the 50% off pantene and got no ECB’s. i dont normally go to this store but they also had $1 off peelies on them!! that was a nice treat.
A little off topic, but I bought some Aveeno products at CVS today because I want to do the Spend 25, get 10 promotion. Yet, when I go to the link provided on this blog and several others, aveeno has changed the PDF rebate post to one for ageless vitality. Does anyone have the PDF file? I can’t find one online anywhere.

got my bounty coupon from machine, trying to find a good manufactor coupon to add to it to make a even better deal, the coupon data base says there is a coupon from 6/6 P&G for a $1 off but I can’t find it in my P&G anywhere. Any help, anyone???

1. When I use the ECB that I have, do I present the receipt that shows the ECB or do I just give the card?
2. Do the ECB add up on your card?
3. Can you use the ECB on anything in the store like real money?
