I just have a question or comment: I was at Walgreen’s last night and I tried to do the Dr. Scholl’s thing. I printed a coupon and I paired it with the coupon in the July coupon book at Walgreen’s. Both would not go through and I was told by the Manager that the coupons found in the Walgreen’s coupon books are actually manufacturer coupons that can only be used at Walgreen’s, and not a store coupon. Therefore I could not use the two I had together because they were both manufacturer coupons. I looked and the coupon from their coupon book does say manufacturer coupon…I live in MA so I don’t know if this varies by state or what, but just wanted to throw that out there! If you have any input that would help!

That’s odd. I have never had a problem using the store coupon book coupons with manu. coupons. I am not sure if this varies by state. I just did this deal and had no problem what so ever. so sorry for your trouble
I have had this same problem. The coupons state that you can not combine them with any other coupon.
I just used the same coupons today in KY and it went through just fine.. ??? Here is a link to the policy I looked up and according to this as long as the coupon does not state that it cannot be used they should take it.. I am new at this so I may be reading it wrong but they have a complaint form if you believe their has been an issue! Good luck! :0)

Can a customer use both a Manufacturer’s coupon and Walgreens
coupon for the same item in a purchase?
One Walgreen and one manufacturer coupon can be used for the same item, unless either
coupon prohibits such use.
Walgreens Roto Ad Coupons and a manufacturer’s coupon can be used towards the purchase of
any one item. “One coupon per purchase” means one coupon must be tendered for each PIECE sold.
I live in Oregon and have been told the same thing.
I bought them last night. I bought all 4 they had. I wear inserts and can’t wear sandles. I needed these sooooooo badly. I used the manufacturer’s coupons first and then had them scan the in store coupon. They scanned fine. I had the Blistop in the same transaction so no problem with the penny overage on each one.
Must be a regional coupon for the Dr. Scholls. I’m in Sandy, UT. Can’t find it, darn it!

I got 2 of the Rough Skin Erasers last night at 2 different Walgreens. We were having dinner with my fiance’s dad on the other side of town, so I made my fiance stop at the Walgreens over there haha I’m so addicted to Walgreens this week, there are too many deals. And it doesn’t help that there is a Walgreens in my neighborhood. I can’t escape it. But the Rough Skin Eraser works very well!! Better than any other foot exfoliator I have tried, if you haven’t tried it before.
I got the rough skin eraser & Loreal products today without any problems. I just looked at my receipt and both of the coupons used from the July book are listed as mfgc and the in ad coupons are listed as wagc, still worked fine without any beeps that I remember.
does anyone know what jelly balm is?
I was wondering how many items can you buy and still have the Wag coupons come off. I know you can buy two and they will both come off, but what if I wanted two of the lip balms and two of the face powders. Would the store coupon come off four times?
Each deal had a different limit. Look close at the coupon and it will tell you. Or ask a manager, and they will let you know.
Mine are on sale for 5.99 so it was only .99 cents 🙂 i only got 1 thou, need to make some stops at other walgreens for sure! just so everyone knows there is a great buy 25 get 10 back on shick products, quattro etc, and i got all the coupons from this weekends newspaper…and it came out to be 16 bucks, and i got 10 back. so 6 bucks for 2 12 packs shick razors, 1 shick quattro trimmer, 1 edge shave creme and 1 skintamate shave creme. go try it 🙂 i used the 10 bucks i got the pads stayfree had b1g1 free, the dr scholls, some loreal make up and reeses, all for 15 cents! Cant wait for anothe run to walgreens! Thanks for the tips! I wanna try the creme super badly now! I had no probs with any of that.
When I bought some almay makeup on clearance at Wags and they were having a B1G1 I was told that it didn’t apply to clearance items…

I got two of the hip jelly balm’s! I was so excited!!!
oops, I didn’t even use the wags Q, I had my three kids with me so was plenty distracted, but it’s still a good deal at 1.75 for both, and that sucked up my overage from the dentyne!
In response to PP, the jelly balm is like lip gloss.
I am in the Phoenixville, PA. I was able to get two clearance items with B1G50%, I was also able to use two manufacturing coupons paired with the one from the June book (it deducted $1 not $2 as it was reported). Just a note, our Walgreens has a rule: number of coupons can’t be larger then number of items, so I used ‘buy one get one free’ coupon to buy two small packs of M&Ms to get around. Four item – four coupons.
What was your subtotal? Wags IVCS wont let you go negative so more than likely your total before tax was less than a $1.
Kristie is right your total for the 2 products was probably less than the $2 amount it would take off. I know some people have reported that their wags q’s will adjust down. Mine never have. If the price is below the amount of the coupon then it will only take the amount off for as many as are more than the total. That being said however,I tried the L’oreal deal today 2x and neither time would the l’oreal q from the july booklet work. It beeped on the clearance items. I have never had that before. I will try another store~

I ran to Wags after seeing this hoping to score some Hip jelly balm, but they were still $4.99 at my store so I passed. Did get the Rough Skin Eraser though. I thought I’d be in the clear because I had them scan the man. coupon before the Wags coupon, but the register beeped due to that penny overage. I had to throw a candy in to make it work since they seem to think they can’t adjust coupons down. Still an awesome deal though!

My Wags cashier wouldnt let me stack the Dr Scholls coupons with the Wags booklet coupon. He pointed out that it says it cant be combined with other offers. I wanted to point out that the Dentyne booklet coupon says the same thing and he let me combine an insert coupon with that, but I didnt say anything because I didnt want him to take back the Dentyne too. I’d never had problems before stacking coupons at that store. Must have just been a mean cashier. I was just happy I got the free socks! Maybe I’ll try the Dr Scholls deal tomorrow at another store. Cant keep a good couponer down!
I found the hip jelly balm at my store. Instead of b1g1 50% it rang up b1g1 free. i also got 2 Dr. Scholl’s products great trip.
Got 2 of the bare minerals today. Paid $1.79 for the first one (after $1 manu Q and $1 WAGS Q) and the second 1 rang up 1/2 off at $1.89 and paid 89 cents ( after $1 WAGS Q) What a deal!
So how about the cashier at Walgreens told me that they are no longer accepting printed coupons. She called the manager over who confirmed that all the stores were sent memos to no longer accept the coupons because people were abusing them (making copies of printed ones, buying up all the products, etc). So thanks to all the greedy, selfish, folks out there who ruined a great thing for everyone.
If I buy more than one of the Dr. Scholls inserts and they scan the Walgreens coupon from the July book, will it deduct $5 for each item or only deduct $5 period?
For each item. so if you buy 2 it will take off $10 HTH

They are usually in the store, try the cosmetics counter or the photo counter, or ask an associate where they are…every store is different! 🙂
I went to Walgreen’s last night and our store (in Virginia Beach) didn’t have those cheap prices, they were about double! So, I didn’t get any L’Oreal stuff, but did get the Dr. Scholls foot stuff. I am loving your site!!
I went in for the Loreal today also. Picked out 2 of the Jelly balm ($4.99 each), The beauty consultant ringing me up leans over the counter and whispers “this sale is ringing up bogo instead of bog50%, and the IVC is taking off $2 instead of $1. Would you like to pick some more products out?” she was sooo cute! My 2nd manufacterers coupon beeped, and I asked if maybe it was because of the bogo ringing up, and maybe I should only be using 1 coupon? “Oh no” she says. “you can definately use both” and she pushed it through! Wish I would have clipped more coupons. I’ll be going back tomorrow!
