What a coincidence! I used to live in Fairview Heights IL, when my husband was stationed at Scott AFB, IL. And I am originally from St. Peters, MO a suburb about 30 miles from St. Louis, MO. :)

I don’t know how long ago it was that you lived here but Shiloh now has a Super Target! The weather is the usual July: Hot & Muggy with a 70% chance of thunderstorms. Sweet corn is being sold at every roadside stand and the peaches are slowly making their appearance. :)

          • Angie says:

I remember when they were building that Super Target! We left there in 03 and moved to Germany and now we live in NM. I am hoping to move back to the midwest soon. Crossing my fingers that my husband gets orders. :)

  • Susan says:

Went today to Toys R Us. The BOGO 50% on Play-doh isn’t advertised in my local ad, and when I asked the lady at customer service, she told me they were NOT on sale. They were also NOT marked on sale at the shelf, but when I took it to the price check scanner it did show Buy One Get One 50% off. Before tax my total was $13.98 – not bad for two BIG Play-doh boxes!!! These will be perfect to save for summer birthday parties!

  • Anon says:

This is off topic but I just received an email from Payless.com that said there were an error and one of my flip flop is out of stock and they had shipped only1 flip flop !! I am soooo upset because they were offering B1G1 deal on them. Anyone had same problem with Payless.com flip flops deal?

  • Mara says:

Anyone have a PDF or scan of the 4 dollar off Tag coupon from the July mailer??? I got mine in the mail and, get this, the front page (which was the ONLY coupon I needed) was ripped off! I wanted to pair them with the 4 dollar off manuf coupons!

  • Sarah says:

Toys r Us is a joke. I get mad every time I go there. Yesterday, I went to purchase gifts for my daughter and yes they have lots of red tags everywhere saying 75% off. But it’s false advertising! It’s really only 25% off. I bought 2 things that were supposed to be 75% off and when I asked the associate who was ringing up my items why they didn’t come up as 75% off she said that it is up to 75% off the clearance price with the 25% off. I said there is no clearance price. She said, “yeh I know they don’t allow us to put the prices up”. What?
Nothing that I got was actually 75% off even though the signs say that. The real sale is 25% off the regular price on the shelf. I will write their corporate.

    • robyn says:

yeah i was looking at a outdoor playhouse for my daughter and the “clearance” price was only $10 off the orginal price and then take 25% off of that. the signs do say “UP TO” 75% off. on the positive not i got the tag program with a book for $14.99 i thought that was a good deal.

    • Meghan says:

I thought the same thing about all their red tags! I scanned a clearance item which rang up at $14.98, expecting to get an additional 25% off that price….but that was the price with the 25% alreay taken off! It just seemed very misleading to put the 75% off so big on the sign and then in small print underneath it said 25% off clearance price.

    • Anonymous says:

lol.. yeah i was mislead and scammed too. i bought to items for my kids that were “suppose” to be 75% off as well. i spent almost 30 dollars, and later looked at my receipt and only ended up saving 4.58!!! Umm yeah.. if it wasnt for living about 35 miles away i would have taken the 2 items back.

  • Regina Bennett says:

I wish I had paid closer attention to the coupon part of the game. I played yesterday and the day before and never noticed the “print a coupon” option. grrrr, I hate it when I do things like that. I have 3 of my children’s birthdays coming up in the next 45 days, too….grrrr again

    • Brandi says:

Since the Toys R Us deal ends today, play the game and print off 2 coupons. It’s a Brick’s coupon, so you still have time to make the most of the Buy 1 get 1 50% off sale.

  • Anonymous says:

Only printing out 2.00 coupons now :( . Dont know how I missed the 5.00 coupons yesterday?

    • Kathleen says:

I got a $2.00 off also, and it is for the spin and store, which seems to be less complex. Well, maybe it is cheaper, overall less oop??
      Thanks Collin!

  • Danielle says:

just a tip for everyone shopping at toys r us today or in the future( I work there) the sign states that you can save up to 75% but if it is read closely it states that it is just 25% off any marked clearance price!( I know its a bit misleading) Also toys r us should accept printable coupons as long as they scan and are obviously real (such as from the play doh sweepstakes) Also before heading out to the store call and make sure your local toys r us is participating in the sales, the sales they run differ by region and some may only apply to reward card members

  • Karen says:

I also only got a $2 coupon off and it’s on the purchase of one Play-Doh Fun Factory Spin ‘n Store.

  • Nicole says:

I just looked at the online prices at Walmart and the Play-Doh Poppin Movie Snacks is $10. So if you only wanted one it would make them $7 with the coupon. Not sure if this price is the same in stores.

  • Heather Keating says:

I still can not find the coupons??

  • Jennifer says:

The popcorn one is 10 dollars at Target too…

  • heather says:

a little off subject – has anyone won on the kroger summer spin game?

  • heather says:

i have a 3.5 year old do you think plat dough is okay for her?? should we wait?

  • Elle says:

I was at Target yesterday and they had just clearanced down a bunch of Play-doh items. Some were on the endcaps and others with mixed in with nonsale Play-doh items. I saw a pretty good size play set for $7.49. (I think…I know it was $7.something)

  • Kavi Ravi says:

    Here’s what I got from Toysrus Y’day,

I got 2 DS games clearance priced $7.48 with 25% more ( down from $9.98) for $6 each with 20% off any one video game coupon from Sunday Toysrus ad.

    Rallye 24″ Girl’s bike 15 speed for $59.98 down from $79.98.

Couple of games like Scene it for $2.25, wood chess board $3.73, Speed Racer 3D Diarama puzzle for $1.12

Actually it takes another 25% off listed or sticker price. Most of the things on clearance were already reduced so it took off another 25% when I scanned.

Even I was super excited when saw the sign, but was very disappointed with cart full items scannned and left most items back and got the above which seemed a good deal.

After Target and Toysrus Hasbro Game deals some time back, spending more than $2 for a game was hard. But I thought I needed variety of games. You nevre know when you might some:)

After being told at one ToysRUs store that they wouldn’t take internet coupons, I called another local store and was told that’s it’s corporate policy not to accept internet coupons. What a wasted trip . . . I think I’ll head to Target with my coupons.

    • Julie says:

Is it an advertised sale? I thought that was the only way they could do it @ Target. I dont see it in the Toys R Us ad.
