Happy Friday: Bet I Can Make You Smile!

Alright, so I was having one of those mornings… you know, the kinda morning when you wake up to a “wet” kitchen due to the fact that one of your kiddos accidentally threw a whole bottle of Dawn soap into the dishwasher, then you spill your coffee all over the couch and put your sons ipod in the washing machine! Yes, that was my morning…. So needless to say, I definitely was looking for a way to brighten my day… and I actually found a way to do just that!
I posted this awesome video back in April, but thought I’d re-post it for all you new readers and anyone that’s had one of those mornings and needs some cheering up like I did!

OMG – I thought it was just me.
I found my daugthers new back up pair of glasses we picked up yesterday, broken this morning by my toddler.
I forgot to take the trash to the curb, I thoght that was tomarrow.
I was late to an appointment and the guy driving in front of me was going most the whole same way I was (a 30 mile distance) 10-15 miles under the speed limit the whole way and he made it impossible to safely pass him. (all three kids were in my car)
After my appt I got to walmart and realized I forgot my debit card and couldn’t load the prepaid green dot card for my husband
I got home and realized I had to go pick up my daugters other “first pair” of glasses we just had replaced because my toddler broke them monday. I arrived at the eye doctors to see they closed at 1 o’clock and it was 1:55 when I arrived
I got home to realize I forgot to leave out the large bag of items I called a lady to pick up I was donating to her for her yard sales she does for an extra income (she’s disabled) – so she probably got here to find nothing
All that and it is only 2:20pm.
- I can say I saw a guy holding a sign saying he needed gas, at walmart – so I rolled up to the stop sign and asked him if he ran out of gas or what? and he said yes. So, I told him to go to the pump and I will pay by check at the gas station for him and paid $12.00 to help him out.
It made me feel better about my day. True happiness is in what you do, not what you get – I believe. Don’t get me wrong, I love to get. But, being a good human being is priceless!

My son dropped his in the toilet and we were told brown rice worked better than white rice. It does take a few days. Good luck!

We baked my husbands Iphone in the oven and it dried it out! I forgot the temp, go to youtube and look it up, it worked soo well!

Whatever you do, don’t turn it on until the Ipod is completely dry. I’d wait a few days. It’s not the water that ruins ipods/cell phones/electronics, it’s turning them on before they’re absolutely dry…it zaps them.

We did the same thing with my husbands Droid phone. A couple days in a bag of rice – ziplocked shut. And we also put it in a bag with those silica gel packs u find in shoe boxes. We went to a shoe store and asked for some. Put about twenty in a bag. But yes – wait SEVERAL days before turning it on. Good Luck!!!!!

My parents spilled an entire gallon of paint in their garage(most of which ended up in a box of pictures that was just cleaned out of my nan’s house )

Bad days must be going around! I just home, got on the computer….let me correct that…got on Hip2Save! I just started laughing with this post b/c first of all I’ve had a day with nothing but “issues” and “roadblocks” with everything I tried to do! I’m out of the hospital, due to strokes, but found that my “deluxe plan” insurance doesn’t cover the Ambulance, ER, or the Hospital Stay. Never mind sitting at the State office a couple days ago, for 3 1/2 hours to try and get State Insurance…only to find out that my “caseworker” had taken the rest of the day off….and the best case scenario at this point, is that I can go back to work in another month, or so, according to my Dr. Ugggh. I’m still waliking barely, and talking like Forrest Gump, (no offense, as that it is one of my favorite movives) But I’m stressing over just making sure that I have Dog Food.. It’s hard not having any income., and able to work. Today, after depleting my savings, just to put gas in my truck, I realized that I still have so many utilitiy bills to pay.
Anyway. That video was really funny. I especially liked the two of them when they were sitting in the swing sets! That made me laugh so hard! Thank you again.
