I’ve been doing this deal all month. They won’t take more coupons than the total amount of dentyne. You do make $.99 for every 3 you buy with the july coupon book. I’ve got lots of gum now

I actually made money on this deal because they took all 3 of my $1 off manufacturer’s coupons as well as the Wags coupon. This was when they were ringing up at .79 apiece. I ended up making $1.62 (went toward other purchases). Make sure you hand over the Wags coupon last or I don’t think it will work.
I didn’t intend to do this it just worked out to my advantage.

My walgreens won’t take coupons now if it makes the item free, very frustrating since they aren’t paying for it, even with an item for overage they won’t.

One dumb cashier would not accept the Walgreens coupon from their July book and the manufacturer coupon even after I gave the manufacturer coupon first and then the Wag coupon.She said it would not scan because the Wags coupon was a manufacturer too. DID NOT even try to scan it. I told her to take off the $1 manufacturer coupon and scan the Wags coupon instead because I save more. The next day that same cashier was there along with the best cashier to use coupons with. I did the same transaction buy 3 Dentyne gum hand over the manu coupon and then Wags when I checked out with the best cashier . The register took it off. I wish the other dumb cashier was near by. I HATE IT WHEN THEY SAY IT WON’T WORK, BUT DON’T TRY TO SCAN IT.

At my Walgreens~ three of them ring at $1.98. Then with the July coupon booklet they ring at .99 cents. My Walgreens would only allow me to use one $1 coupon from the 6/13SS. I could not use 3 of them because the register beeped and they would not allow the overage. I still felt it was a steal for .48 cents in tax!

Same situation here in Central Florida,,they ring up 3/$1.98 and the coupon brings it down to .99, I just got back in line and did a return.

same in San Diego. they weren’t free here either. They were $.99 AFTER the Walgreen’s coupon so cost $.33 cents each

This gum is ringing up 3/$1.98. Then the IVC coupon takes off 99c making them 3/$.99. They dont start off at 3/$.99. But still a good deal IMO

I bought 3 packs of gum and had 2 – $1 off coupons. The cashier wouldn’t ring it up and I told her that the requirement was to purchase 1 and I had 3 so both mfg coupons should work. She refused to even scan it. I had a manager come over and she said, oh ya, just do this, this, this and this. I ended up getting 3 packs of gum, a box of security envelopes & a pack of 20 pens (both on clearance) for .27 cents. WAHOO!! It was my first money maker because I’m a newbie.

My Walgreens didn’t let me do this deal because they said the coupon from their July book is for purchase of three “9 or 12 pack”………..

I don’t know if I totally understand this deal. I went to my Walgreen’s and had 3 pkgs. of the Dentyne gum. The cashier scanned the gum and it rang up .79 each. I thought the deal was supposed to be 3 packs of gum for .99, then use the Dentyne coupon from the Walgreen’s July coupon booklet to make the three packs free? Maybe it’s just my store.

I just had the same thing happen… I guess if I would have looked closely, the sale tag would have said 3 /99 cents when you use the coupon…. lame-o

Tried it today and it works too.
Buy 7 use 4 $4Q + wagsQ = 1.30 MM
BUY 10 use 6= 2.37
13 use 8 =3.71
16 use 10 = 4.95
19 use 12 = 5.40
22 use 14 = 6.41
Looks like buying 16 and using 10 coupons gets you the most overage.

My Wags gum is 1.29 each. Does it ring up differently if i go ahead and purchase it and use the coupon? I was afraid to try since I am a newby. I didn’t want to buy it for that price. Does anyone know? I live in East Central Indiana.

I used the deal posted a while back where is was 3/$0.99, then used my man coupon and did this twice for 6 packs for free. My husband liked the gum and I wish I had more dentyne coupons, but this is a good deal.
