McDonald’s: FREE Smoothie or Frappe Peelie Coupons?!

I’ve heard reports that starting today, 7/27, participating McDonald’s locations are offering up a yummy promo! Just order a large drink and you may get a coupon for a FREE 12oz Smoothie or Frappe on your future visit! You see, on the large drink cups there is supposedly peelie coupons, valid thru 8/15/10! Please keep in mind that this is NOT available at all locations. Let us know in the comment section if your location is in fact participating in this promotion.

Yesterday I went to McDonalds to use the coupon for a free smoothie or frappe that was in the 7/25 Parade. I had no idea about the peelie’s but I also ordered a large drink and there was one on mine! I am in upstate SC.

Thanks! I’ve actually got free coupons for these in our Relish ads that comes in our local paper and they are on the 32oz. sodas at MCDonalds.

I got a medium drink at McDonald’s yesterday (El Paso, TX) and it had the peelie on there… However, my husband got a medium drink as well and his cup did not have a peelie… Oh well, I’ll be enjoying a free smoothie this afternoon as a nice little treat after running errands

I was going to mention this a few days ago but forgot. I went Sunday to get my hubby a large Diet and he had one on his cup. I was excited. I live in NC and all the large drinks come in the styrofoam (my guess is the heat) like the sweet tea does. Another free drink!

This is a question. Do the Frappes have any coffee in them. It sure doesn’t seem like it. I’ve only had one and had a horrible belly ache (maybe they didn’t use skim) and I didn’t think it tasted like coffee, just an icy chocolate malt. I love the iced mochas, so why don’t I like the Frappes? Plus I love Starbucks Frappachinos (that is not spelled right).

I don’t like coffee at ALL (not even coffee flavored things usually) but for some reason I love these mocha frappes. We ordered one a couple of weeks ago–my husband had a free coffee certificate and thought he’d see if they would work for a frappe. The cashier said “technically there’s no coffee in these, just coffee flavor” but she let us use the certificate.

12oz Strawberry/Banana OR Wild Berry – 210 calories
12 oz Frappe Caramel or Mocha – 450 calories
