I’ve always gotten the crayola washables for 1.00 unti last year and this year….i haven’t seen them go below 2 the past 2 years…if anyone finds them for less than 2 dollars please give me a shoutout …i like to buy about 30 boxes of them because my children color nearly everyday and we also use them as gifts throughout the year.

  • Angie says:

I bought my son’s backpack at Toys R Us today and got the free lunch kit. Inside the lunch box was a coupon booklet worth $12 of savings. It was for purell, capri sun’s, minute rice and more. Woo hoo!!

  • Amy J says:

Cashier at Office Max told us today that they just had a meeting about upcoming sales and that there are some hot deals coming up for .01 and such! She wasn’t able to tell us which week or which items, so stayed tuned!!

  • Angie says:

The Dollar General I go to (in Minooka, IL) will NOT take internet coupons that make the item free. I asked the cashier to call the manager and she said it was story policy. Um, dumb policy, but ok. :0)

    • KRISTA says:

I had the same trouble in Michigan today. I sent an email to their corporate customer service asking for clarification of their coupon policy, but I havent heard back yet.

  • Sharon Marshall says:

I miss out on all this fun back to school supply shopping. Our school’s PTO purchases the school supplies for the whole school. It’s great for the pocket book but we do miss out on the fun that’s why I will still take her and let her pick out a few notebooks and folders of her choosing to use.

  • April says:

I went to Wal Mart over the weekend to get my daughters supplies and got everything on her list for under $25.00 and that was even with buying her teacher 2 things of dry erase markers and letting her splurge a little on a special dog pencil pouch. Everything was $.25 it seemed. I know they have the 24ct Crayola colors for $.25 as well. I was dreading having to buy all of this until I got there and saw all the great prices!!!

  • [...] Thanks, Hip2Save [...]

  • I love the savings on this list. I haven’t had time to run to the stores yet but I am headed to many of them this week.

  • [...] you go out for your back to school shopping spree!  Collin, over at Hip2save, has put together a back to school supply round up that may be of some help to [...]
