The Target coupon I see to print, is $1 off 2 bic products… am I missing it?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      thats it!

    • Robin

Yeah, Collin has $1 off 1 listed. It still makes it free, she just has the wrong value listed

      • Lindsay

Collin is referring to a Target coupon that was offered last month but is no longer on their website, only the $1/2 is listed.

          • Lynne

Wow how do you get coupons like that?? I’m not even sure thats legal….isn’t that like making copies of coupons????

          • SMILEFORMOMMY

Lynne I found this website that has them like that. I’ve used them and they work fine. Its pretty much like if you use 2 computers to print them out.

  2. Cathy

My target coupon is $1 off 2 Bic stationery items, same as the manufacturers coupon. Still 2 free packs of pens when you use both coupons. If I am missing the $1 off 1 let me known.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

1 should be target coupon and the other a MC–you can use both to get the deal

  3. Turboturtle_8

How do you find out what is on sale starting Sunday, August 8th (i.e. Walgreens)?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      iheartwags.com

      • Turboturtle_8

WONDERFUL!!! Thanks! I can begin making my next attack plan!

  4. stasiak613

I have the manufacturers one, but in the deal for Target she said that the Target coupon was for $1 off 1 bic not 2… so I was just checking! Thanks everyone!

  5. Lindsay

Kroger also has a catalina deal for Bic until 8/21.
    Spend $10 get a $2 cat or $20 get a $4 cat.
The best part about this deal is the qualifying amount is based off of the retail price and not the sale price.
My store has the Bic Cristal pen 10 pks on sale for 1.00 this week regular 1.79 so the deal breaks down like this:

    Buy 6 pkgs of pens (1.79 reg) at 1.00 ea = 6.00
    use 3 of the $1/2 Q’s = 3.00 OOP + $2 cat ( that’s like getting them for .17 ea)

Not as good as free/overage at Target but great if you’ve already used all of your Target coupons and want more cheap pens.

  6. Olivia Smith

Amazing. I have enough pens but have been getting good deals on school supplies and donating to my church!

    • Pamela

Thanks so much for share this with us! I have lot of BIC pens so I will buy some BIC pencils to add to my school supplies! 🙂

      • SMILEFORMOMMY

        Your welcome Pamela :0)

    • Melissa R.

I don’t think thats cool at all. If Target wanted us to print multiples, they wouldn’t have switched to e-centives to limit printing.

      • SMILEFORMOMMY

Melissa, you dont have to use them, but I’m pretty sure if you had more then one computer you would be printing them out. Not a big deal at lease to me.

        • Lindsay

What’s the website you used to get the multiple Bic coupons on one page? I would love to save on paper. The Target website only does a max of 3 per page. Thanks!

        • Melissa R.

Thats not the point and if you don’t see anything wrong, who I am to lecture? I’ll just do what I feel is right, you do what you feel is right.

          • goosemonkey

I’m with Melissa 100%. This “document” is not cool at all. Apparently some people do not understand coupon language. Or they knowingly abuse it. Right on these coupons it says “This coupon for use by original recipient only.” It later says “Void if…transferred.” Both statements make it clear that Target intends for these coupons to be redeemed by those who originally accessed them from their site (2 per person or computer). Downloading these images printing multiple copies of the same image is just plain greedy and dishonest. Boo on you.

          • goosemonkey

Not to mention that these $1/1 coupons are no longer available on the site. You still feel good about printing them?

          • WoodyFam4

Melissa R. and Goosemonkey, As someone who is fairly new to commenting on blogs, I must admit that posts like the two of yours are examples of the reason I haven’t joined in sooner. And whether SmileForMommy is right or wrong is beside my point. As someone who considers herself a “civilized” lady, I would never say “Boo on you” to someone’s face. It is rude and disrespectful, not to mention the fact that it sounds like it’s coming out of a five-year-old’s mouth. I am of the opinion that we should behave on blogs and in chat rooms the way we should in public-with class and respect. Perhaps you could have tried to politely educate SmileForMommy instead of scolding her-then sent a private message to Collin, kindly requesting that she check out the post and remove it if it is truly “illegal.” If we could all come down from our “holier than thou” pedestals for a bit, I think this blogging world would become much more attractive to the “ladies” I believe this blog is especially intended for.

          • Gillian

WoodyFam4 – I too am new(ish) to commenting on forums and I completely agree that people should treat each other with respect when responding to others’ posts.

I find that the information from the 2 previous posters is incredibly helpful. I am new to couponing and find that many of the internet printable coupon rules and lingo can be confusing (as I’m sure other people new to the game feel as well). I greatly appreciate them pointing out the clauses that might make these coupons invalid – if they had sent Collin a private message I would not have learned anything!

While I may not have said “Boo on you”, I appreciate their efforts. I’m not trying to ruffle any feathers with my post or assume a “holier than thou” attitude. I just wanted to share with you that many times these posts can be helpful – even if they are not worded in a way I would have chosen.

I think this type of information is a great learning opportunity and will make it easier for ladies *and* gentlemen to use coupons wisely!

    • Nicole

BE Careful posting things from slickdeals here. In addition, Slickdeals, the site this pdf came from is not illegal because Target has already advised which coupons slickdeals can use. For example, because the Target coupons codes are not unique (with pin #) they are doing nothing wrong. The Eggo coupon, however, was unique and posted on coupons.com. Slickdeals didn’t use that in a PDF.

  7. Lori

My Target has the Bic blue pens on sale for .45, I bought 4 packs and used two target $1 off two coupons and two Bic $1 off two and got $2.10 in overage!

  8. cheapo

If you have a price chopper near you these pens are on sale for 2 pks for $1 I used the news paper coupons and got 14 pks for free well $0.57 ny tax 🙁

  9. Cristy

A little of subject but, does anyone know how you can tell if a coupon found on the Target website is a Target or manufactuer coupon BEFORE you print it out?

    • Hawkeye Scott

There’s no way that I know of other than asking if anyone else has already printed it out and can tell you.

  10. Liz

I went to Target yesterday to snap some free pens and the supervisor jumped down my throat about how I can’t use the Target and the Man. coupon to get them both free because the pens are only .99 each, not $1.00. She was rude and looked at me like trash when I told her I did not want them if I could not use my coupons.

    • Mary

Liz, she was wrong. You CAN stack coupons. As a matter of fact, the policy is that they have to adjust the MQ down to the price of the product. So, they should have adjusted the MQ down to make them free. Next time, I would recommend printing the policy and taking it to the store with you. You might also call corporate and lodge a complaint. I have done this and it usually fixes the problem.

  11. Michelle

I was so excited today, I took my coupons just like collin said, and got 8 packages of free pencils for my kids. It was like christmas at my house. Everyone is in school at my house, so free school supplies is great,

  12. Mary

I hate to say this but printing coupons like that is actually illegal. They might work but so do coupons that have been copied on the printer — it doesn’t mean it is kosher to use them.
